@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

Fantastic ❤️❤️

Needallthesleep · 17/04/2020 19:45

Is everyone finding out sex?

I think I could have a good guess with @Hhdxx (and I’m never wrong, it’s a gift Wink)

Wise0wl · 17/04/2020 19:56

Great news @Hhdxx !!

@needallthesleep I think we will but might not tell anyone else so it’s a surprise for them. Also my mum can’t help herself with buying extremely gendered gifts (she doesn’t realise she does it, bless her) so would prefer neutral things...

Hhdxx · 17/04/2020 19:58

Thank you everyone.

@Needallthesleep hahaha what do you think? We were going to have a surprise but I'm interested in your idea. X

Needallthesleep · 17/04/2020 20:01

I think you’re having a girl @Hhdxx. It’s literally just a guess but weirdly I have never been wrong.

Hhdxx · 17/04/2020 23:56

@Needallthesleep my dad thinks a girl too but everyone else thinks a boy xx

Morning everyone, just as I'm not allowed to have long without worrying, since yesterday morning I've been having brown spotting. I'm glad it's only brown obviously, but whhhhhyyy ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ slightly uncomfortable cramps but nothing major. That's got to be strange for 13weeks and having had a good scan?

Bumblebee413 · 18/04/2020 10:20

Hi @professorastrocat. Brown spotting is completely normal and can happen at any point in pregnancy. Particularly if you've had sex in the last few days as the cervix can get very irritable/ sensitive at times too. Same goes with the slightly uncomfortable cramps. Hold on to that wonderful scan and happy, wriggly baby. I know it isn't easy when it's such a precious thing. The spotting will settle x

Bumblebee413 · 18/04/2020 10:21

Also. I don't really believe Gaby is having a baby at the moment. More of a sales push. Call me cynical.... Wink

professorastrocat · 18/04/2020 10:39

Thanks so much @Bumblebee413 I'm a worrier.

And yes- I've reported that comment! 🙄

Lola871 · 18/04/2020 10:45

How long after your booking appointment did you all get your scan date? I'm coming up to two weeks since my appointment and haven't heard anything yet, currently 9+4 so still time but I have to arrange it with work - just wondering when I should call and chase up!

Hope you’re ok @professorastrocat. sounds totally normal.

BooMamaBear · 18/04/2020 20:15

@Hhdxx - great news bout your scan!! I. already know I'm having a girl -we've not had spam before what's that about!!

Thanks @Needallthesleep it's subsided now.

Hope everyone else is doing well?

@Lola871 I think I got mine about a week
After but I hadn't had my first app until I was almost 10 weeks.

@professorastrocat if it helps at all I’ve had on and off brown spotting. Nobody is worried about it and my early scan was fine, so it seems to be normal!

@Lola871 I’m 10 weeks today and won’t have my booking in appt until I’m 10+4, got my scan letter today which will be when I’m 13+2. It feels very late to me but not sure if it is - NHS website says up to 14 weeks is normal 🤷‍♀️

professorastrocat · 19/04/2020 08:17

Thanks @Wise0wl that does help! - always helps to be reassured I just panic when there's anything like that or any changes, I just think the worst.

Re your scan, mine was 13+2 aswell so probably pretty normal time frame. I got moved to 12+6 at the scan.

Lola871 · 19/04/2020 08:30

Thanks guys, I'm not worried about it being later than 12 weeks, I just need to know when it is so I can arrange my work schedule!

I might give them a call Monday. How is everyone feeling, I've managed to start exercising a little again this week which feels great! Still have on and off nausea but it feels more manageable now, not sure if it's improving or if I'm just getting used to it!

BooMamaBear · 19/04/2020 08:33

I'm 15w today! @professorastrocat -my dad (a GP) said you only need to worry if you see red blood like fresh blood I had a day when j got some light brown discharge and he said it's nothing to worry about!
Hope everyone is staying safe and feeling ok!!

professorastrocat · 19/04/2020 08:44

@BooMamaBear thanks 😊 wow 15 weeks now you're racing ahead! Did your dates get moved earlier on?

I'm feeling ok thanks @Lola871 the nausea has improved a lot but still there a bit and I'm still tired as I have insomnia! Not sure if it's pregnancy or lockdown related.

Hatepickinganame · 19/04/2020 08:48

@professorastrocat hope all is ok with you now?

Im 6 weeks today, nausea is pretty much constant all day, ordered those wrist band things off amazon and they arrived yesterday so hoping they will do something to help. Only 6 more weeks (ish!) Of feeling like this 😂🤞
