@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

@Hhdxx -do you mean you held your wee for 2 hours then tested?
I take little cheep vit d snd folic acid coz I can't swallow the big ones either!!
Girls I feel so sick right now I was very nearly actually sick this is my worst day so far!
As long as I have a healthy baby I really have no preference of sex -I knew I would have wanted a girl if I already had a boy but as I've got a DD I really don't mind!! I've lost 2 little boys already but my DD would love a sister so I really don't mind!! Xx

It good if you get that without FMU and only holding 2 hours congratulations hun -saw on the bus that you had DH on Wellman, I had mine on Vit C and Zinc supposed to be good to improve sperm quality and motility we got pregnant first time so he was only on it for a couple of weeks tho!! Xx

@Needallthesleep strangely if you'd asked me a few months ago I may have admitted to preferring to have a girl but once we were ttc and feeling nervous about whether it would happen (though feel very lucky it did quickly) and now feel nervous about these first few weeks I honestly don't mind either way!

Hello. Did a Frer this morning and got a nice line, I am about 12/13dpo. Although the hubby doesn't trust it as its not as dark as the control line🙄. Had to explain to him its ok . X

Congratulations @sparkler07 It doesn't matter how dark the line is 😊

Ha @sparkler07 I sent my husband a message with the pic of the positive pregnancy test and he thought it was negative because the line wasn’t very dark. Had to do some explaining to him!

@Needallthesleep. Yh he said I will only trust it when you do the digital one. I said basically when it spells it out lol. Hes desperately wanted another child for years and I was on the fence a little, he wants to get excited but is scared to bless him. Xx

Is anyone really worried about a miscarriage? Im so worried because it has taken us so long to get pregnant. I have mild cramps but I think these are normal? Xx

@Hhdxx yes I’m worried about miscarriage. I feel like every time I talk about being pregnant I’m jinxing it. I’m worried because this baby gives me a perfect age gap between the first and second.

@Needallthesleep are you a little crampy? Is this normal??? I think I'm 11dpo but not sure really?

I haven't told my husband yet, he's been away and I wanted to tell him face to face. Counting down the hours.

I had some really painful cramps last week but they've settled down a bit now I'm passed 6 weeks - I'm terrified if I make it to 11 weeks without an mc I still have only a 50/50 chance of being able to proceed with my pregnancy as the baby may be too poorly to proceed like my last two pregnancies!! Xx

What do we do now? I got my bfp Wednesday. Do I need to ring doctors. Is there anything I shouldn't be doing or eating. I have spent 16 months researching how to get pregnant not what to do now I actually am!!! Xxx

I've been quite crampy off and on. Lots of changes going on!
I'm quite cautious about being over excited, as miscarriage is so common. Especially with the spotting the other day, I felt like I was holding my breath for a few days. No sign of any since though.

@BooMamaBear you are so brave! I can't imagine the strength and courage you have and heartbreak that it may not be able to continue. Much love to you and literally everything crossed xx

@Hhdxx check with your doctors and get booked in for first appointment ASAP even if it doesn't happen for a few weeks.
I've cut down a lot on caffeine, taking folic acid and general vitamins for pregnancy and trying to be more healthy with eating but probably not being realistically!

Thanks for your support guys - you need to take Vit D and folic acid mainly and the NHS website is really useful to tell you what to avoid and how much caffeine is safe!
Just got my scan date through it's 3rd March so a week on Tuesday I'll be 7 and 1/2 weeks so it's a bit earlier than usual this'll give me a date when I need the test - the first time I had a CVS with my daughter I was bruised but fine then next two I've felt really sick afterwards so I expect it to be the same again!! Got to make it there first and hope there is a heart beat and stuff on 3rd!! Xx

@BooMamaBear @professorastrocat thank you. I've just gone to the toilet and there is browny golden discharge. Really worried as I've got cramps too. Is this normal do you know xx

@Hhdxx I think it's a normal time still for implantation bleeding?

@professorastrocat I'm not sure. It's kind of watery with little bits in?

Hope it goes away soon. That's a bit like mine was....was only one 'wipe'.

Hello me again. Just an update, I've got what seems to be stringy brown stuff coming out. Anybody else experienced this? Xx

@Hhdxx. In previous pregnancies that happened to me. I was told it can be old blood from a previous period.

Hi. Hope everyone is well. Used a Clearblue digital which said Pregnant and hubby finally believes it now lol. Got a Frer and a normal clearblue left. Will use them over the next week or so to check the line is darkening. Xx

@Hhdxx how are you feeling? Brown is definitely old blood. Nothing to worry about.

@Needallthesleep I'm alright thank you just worried. This is usually how my period starts so I'm hoping it's not. I'm not sure when it's due exactly? Still got brown discharge and cramps xxx
