@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

Hatepickinganame · 05/04/2020 14:31

Thanks guys, i just did anothet test just cause i honestly couldnt believe it, a cb line one and there is no mistaking the line 😊😊 still cant quite believe it 🤣 how are you all getting on?

Wise0wl · 05/04/2020 15:06

So exciting @hatepickinganame! I’m not too bad, tired, sore boobs, waves of nausea and waking up in the middle of the night every night, but I think my sleep probs are because of lockdown rather than PG! What are you up to today?

Hatepickinganame · 05/04/2020 15:13

@wise0wl not a lot today, enjoying some sun in the garden, trying to work out my due date and wondering if i should tell work this early with the whole corona situation... i have absolutely no symptoms, except slightly sore boobs. I genuinely thought it would be negative lol still not sure its sunk in properly! Ive been having the same sleep issues, feels like im not getting any of it these days! Are you a key worker or managing to work from home? X

calimommy · 05/04/2020 15:52

@Hatepickinganame I'm so pleased for you! I remember you on another thread x best of luck

Hatepickinganame · 05/04/2020 17:25

@calimommy thanks! How are you getting on?

calimommy · 05/04/2020 17:30

I'm good, 6 weeks now so still so early but doing ok. Going a bit demented at home with the children. If one more person tells me we will be doing this till October I'll lamp them. Thanks Sharon, didn't realise you were an epidemiologist specialising in public health. I'll wait and see how it goes tomorrow and the day after that, thanks. 🙄😂

Anon87 · 05/04/2020 18:36

@Hatepickinganame CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉 It's great seeing familiar names celebrate x

littletandme · 05/04/2020 19:32

@hatepickinganame EEEEEKKK congratulations!!! We must have very similar due dates! Grin

Hatepickinganame · 05/04/2020 19:39

Thanks everyone 😊 when does it stop feeling so surreal?! @littletandme used a due date calculator and i think around 14th december for me, when are you due?

littletandme · 05/04/2020 19:42

@Hatepickinganame 9th or 10th December Smile if they go from LMP it'll be the 10th, I ovulated CD14 so by that it's the 9th. Excited to have this little bubs here by Christmas, with my DD I was adamant not to be induced but I think I'll be taking that option if overdue this time so it's not too close 🙈

Lola871 · 05/04/2020 20:07

Congratulations @Hatepickinganame!

Hatepickinganame · 05/04/2020 20:20

@littletandme my eldest was born on 13th dec 🤦‍♀️ so hopefully this one will arrive after that but before xmas 🤣

@lola871 thanks!

Wise0wl · 05/04/2020 22:11

@Hatepickinganame sorry for the late reply, I ended up watching Tiger King on Netflix all evening 😳 I’m working from home and have been for a few weeks now. It’s not fun, but I’m glad to be able to esp with the nausea!

I’m also a December birthday and I really like it! It does mean it’s an expensive month though 😂

BooMamaBear · 05/04/2020 22:48

OMG @Hatepickinganame I am so happy for you I know you from Feb bus and I kept checking the new buses to see how you were getting on - I was really hoping you'd join us soon!!
I'm 13 weeks today and most of my symptoms apart from sore boobs have improved I'm waiting for my CVS results due tomorrow but most likely Tuesday to see if my baby girl is healthy to allow me to proceed with this pregnancy or not!! Absolutely terrified! Xx

Hi @boomamabear! I still cant believe it actually happened lol honestly feels like a dream 🤣 good luck for tuesday, i did wonder how that was going and havent read back through the whole thread yet. Will keep everything crossed for you!

@Wise0wl yeah it looks like december is going to be super expensive now 🤣

BooMamaBear · 06/04/2020 06:03

Hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy @Hatepickinganame xx

Congratulations @Hatepickinganame!! So excited to see you here- I was literally wondering how things were going for you yesterday and decided I didn't yet have the Mumsnet skills to try and find you. Such lovely news! It's so great seeing all the familiar names- thank you for our minibus @BooMamaBear!

The past two days I've felt like I've been hit by a bus with tiredness but luckily it's receded today as I have a 12 hour shift. Waves of nausea, especially if I don't eat regularly, but luckily no actual vomiting just yet. Had a dream about telling my family last night and woke up so excited!

Hatepickinganame · 06/04/2020 07:21

@boomamabear @bumblebee413 and anyone ive missed, thankyou for all the lovely messages 😊 my mn skills stretch to finding this thread lol but glad i can find you all!

I dont really have symptoms, but boobs are starting to hurt like a mofo and im super tired. No sickness yet, which surprises me. I usually suffer really badly. Shouldn't be complaining i guess!

Also, still debating telling my boss today. I work in retail so wfh not an option and im a little more worried than i was now... anyone told their boss super early cause of corona?

notetaker · 06/04/2020 09:57

Been away from Mumsnet for a while but so happy to see so many familiar names on here! Congrats guys!

BFP for me on Friday and (if everything goes to plan) a December baby on the way Smile

BooMamaBear · 06/04/2020 10:22

Congrats @notetaker
So glad I set this thread up coz didn't want to lose touch will all the lovely ladies from the buses but also didn't want to stay on a TTC bus talking about being pregnant when everyone else was trying to get pregnant! So it's nice to have so many graduates on here!
My nausea usually starts at 5 weeks but this time didn't start til almost 6 weeks and it stopped about 11 weeks!! Xx

@notetaker ah congratulations! Whats your rough due date?

@BooMamaBear also super glad you set this up 😊

Wise0wl · 06/04/2020 11:12

Congratulations @notetaker! Smile

notetaker · 06/04/2020 11:17

Thanks @Hatepickinganame and @Wise0Wl, lovely to see you both here! Due around 8th December, just to add to the three December birthdays we already have in the family 😂

Lola871 · 06/04/2020 11:18

@Hatepickinganame I told my boss at 5 weeks as I work in a hospital, I'm currently still going in as we aren't doing face to face consultations but will stop once I decide it's too high a risk. My mental health needs it atm!

Got my midwife appt today, most of it on the phone then I have to pop in for blood pressure etc. Nausea seems to be easing a bit over the last few days which is nice, although now I'm just super hungry! 8 weeks tomorrow.
