Feb Bus pt 2 graduates

@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

@bumblebee413 which aromatherapy oils should be avoided? I had no idea!

Nobody knows except DH here. Isolation is helping keep it a secret and I’ve been ‘joining in’ video call drinks with alcohol free wine! I also can’t believe it’s real so feel fine not telling anyone!

@Bumblebee413 I've told my parents and some close friends. I told friends as I was struggling a few weeks ago and feeling down.
And my boss knows as I had to tell them so I could wfh earlier. Will wait until after the scan to tell other family members and friends.

The waiting for the scan is now taking its toll! I took a test this morning, haha, first time since 4 weeks. I just wish the scan was this week so I know all is ok. it's a week on Thursday though so in the current circumstances with going out places I'll just wait.

Anyone else had a scan date through?

I had a harmony test last week, the GP surgery say they have the results but are just checking for comments with the GP. My anxiety is now in overdrive and I’m refreshing my emails every twenty seconds. Ahhhhh

And it came through finally. We are having a girl :) and all is fine.

Congratulations @Needallthesleep! They're not especially common ones- Jasmine and Clary sage. Clary sage is the stronger one, it can be used to strengthen/ bring on contractions in labour. Everyone reacts differently to them and they don't normally affect me when I'm on my period, but definitely not worth the risk.

@Needallthesleep agh I'm so jealous I can't wait to get my Harmony test out of the way!

Just popping back in, hope everyone's doing ok and hasn't lost that much sanity in lockdown.

I had a big bleed scare at 3am today (I wrote another seperate thread whilst waiting around)
Y'know them periods that surprise you in the middle of the night and you flood as you run to the bathroom? That!

Went to A&E, gynae ward and admitted just to wait for clinic to open.
Thankfully everything is fine, I now have a gummy bear and was able to watch it wiggle dance. I can't remember the last time I ugly cried like that.

@Anon87 so happy it's ok! Do you have a SCH?

@calimommy I had to Google that lol They said the bleed seems to have come from me rather than baby. Cervix still closed, no signs of bleeding. She asked if I'd been coughing heavily or wretching to put that strain on but I've not so still unexplained.

Thank you ladies. Got home for about 10.30 and went straight to bed, slept till 3pm 😆 Poor DP only managed an hour or so snooze while I was in. He's already gone up, doubt if he sees 8.30.

I absolutely love that scan, I wish I could project a memory out to show its little head wiggle dance. The other picture looks like it's running off with its willy out 😂

So when I get my results on Monday or more likely Tuesday if it's good news I can proceed with my pregnancy as normal if it's not it's a 3rd TFMR-it's a condition where the baby would have no quality of life should it survive past the birth and first few weeks!! I really hope this baby girl is healthy! I feel like this is my last chance coz I'm 35, my DD is almost 4.5 and I'm not sure emotionally or physically I could go thru this again if I need another TFMR this time especially if I have complications like the last twice! Xx
