@professorastrocat - I said I'd set up a graduates group I'm tentatively on here though coz if the test at 11 is bad news I'll be back on a bus! Everything so far seems ok as the test this morning says 3 + weeks got the midwife appt tomorrow xx

Due 9th/10th December! 9th by ovulation or 10th by LMP.

Hhdxx · 02/04/2020 07:59

@littletandme congratulations, it's the best feeling ever isn't it xx

Anon87 · 02/04/2020 08:47

@littletandme Ahhh I'm so happy for you. FEM app put me at 10th, midwife put me at 9th from LMP and early scan put me same as FEM app. I can live with a day difference though 😆
Have you told the Mr yet?

Hhdxx · 02/04/2020 09:10

@littletandme are you anywhere near Newcastle? I have a friend who lives there who has said all private scans have been cancelled? If you've found one that's open, that would be great 😁

littletandme · 02/04/2020 09:16

@Hhdxx yes I'm in Stockton on Tees. Window to the Womb in Middlesbrough is where I've booked, they said early scans would always be running, they also have a Darlington branch. Stockton has an Ultrasound Direct clinic as well but I couldn't work out if they were open for private scans. We used them for an early scan, gender scan and 3D scan with my DD 😂

littletandme · 02/04/2020 09:17

@Anon87 yes I'd been getting him to squint at all the tests but his eyesight is terrible. He could see the one at 11dpo and then at 12dpo I did the clear blue digital so he was finally convinced!

professorastrocat · 02/04/2020 10:36

I hope everyone else from the original feb buses threads are doing ok. I've lost track of any of the threads now but I think of people often and wonder how they're doing. That's why it's so nice to see old names come up in here! Well done @BooMamaBear for keeping track and inviting people in 🌟

Juno231 · 02/04/2020 11:00

@professorastrocat just saying hi from the Feb bus :) no BFP yet but I still keep track of you girls in here as it makes my heart all fuzzy. Secretly hoping that if I get a BFP I'll still weasel myself in here even though I'll be totally off kilter to all your due dates!

professorastrocat · 02/04/2020 12:35

Aw hey @Juno231 thanks for saying hi! I'll keep everything crossed we'll see you in here one day soon 💕

BooMamaBear · 02/04/2020 14:33

Hi @Juno231 -can't wait for you to join Us here fingers crossed for you -though depending on my results I may not be on this thread much longer but I hope I will be! Xxx

Did everyone get a chance to share their news before the lockdown? I'm desperate to tell my parents but DH wants to wait a bit longer, probably till after the scan at 7+4. Maybe by then we won't be in as strict of a lockdown?!

Hhdxx · 02/04/2020 15:26

@littletandme fortunately yes! I don't know when these restrictions will be lifted though feels like forever 😩

Is anyone feeling really fed up? Not seen anyone other than my husband for 2 weeks and 3 days... Miss everyone so much xxx

calimommy · 02/04/2020 16:16

I'm thinking it will be June before we get out again 😭
Anyho. Being on lockdown for the first trimester makes it easier to keep it to myself. I'm not strict about it being a secret -my two miscarriages at 9&11 weeks felt so much harder because no one knew I had been pregnant therefore the pregnancies didn't matter, but they certainly mattered to me, but I don't feel like announcing it to every Tom dick and Harry just yet.

@littletandme I know exactly what you mean about the lines. I actually did more tests the other day (IC) haha just for the laugh. I have loads left and I won't use them again, no more pregnancies after this or if this doesn't last, and I don't have anyone to give them to! All the dye went to the test lines, I feel like it's a good sign for now anyway. Really looking forward to my first scan at 8 weeks. I've had so many 8 weeks scans by now I know straight away if it's growing well or not. Fingers crossed for us all x

calimommy · 02/04/2020 16:19

@Hhdxx I've been meeting my friend for a run at night. We run 6 feet apart and have a natter. She has an immunocompromised daughter and I've been strict not to go out to shops at all and kept the children away too, so we know we can trust each other. We haven't meet anyone else. I live in California and we don't have restrictions on how often you can go outdoors, just to maintain distance. It's been amazing talking to her in person rather than on FaceTime

Wise0wl · 02/04/2020 17:15

@Hhdxx I'm starting to feel a bit fed up being inside tbh! I've been trying to keep busy though (not that easy, done a lot of cleaning and had lots of bubble baths!) Have you found anything that's made you feel a bit better? X

professorastrocat · 02/04/2020 19:34

I'm finding it really hard as I feel like it's non stop when all I want to do is rest. I know that sounds crazy saying it's non stop but I'm either with my son, mostly playing but some school work or I'm working from home or I'm asleep 🙁 I'm hoping I start to have more energy soon so I feel like I'm managing at least some of what I need to do half well. I also need to make time for exercise.... I think as it's never broken up with seeing others or trips out that makes it all the harder.

professorastrocat · 02/04/2020 19:35

I do feel lucky in the current situation still though that I can work from home and don't have any stress with money or the many worries that so many are going through currently. We can still moan though!!

Wise0wl · 02/04/2020 20:24

@professorastrocat totally agree. I have to say (trying to find silver linings...) I’m glad not to have to be commuting on the tube into work every day and being in the office. That would be really tough!

BooMamaBear · 03/04/2020 01:03

So should get trisomy and gender results tomorrow crapping myself! The most terrifying result is due on Tuesday - it is dragging so much really don't want to go thru another TFMR especially when hospitals are as stretched as they are! Xx

OP posts:
professorastrocat · 03/04/2020 09:07

We're here to support whatever happens! How do you find out today?

BooMamaBear · 03/04/2020 10:04

Having a girl and trisomy results are clear but the big test is on Tuesday and has 50:50 odds of my being able to keep the baby or otherwise and I'm completely freaking out coz the only time I've been pregnant with a girl before was with my DD and I had no nausea but this time I've had nausea in the afternoon- with my two poorly boys I had all day nausea! Xx

OP posts:
calimommy · 03/04/2020 16:28

I'm excited for you @BooMamaBear! Don't think about the nausea as a sign, it's not. A girl! Wow! I have three boys so if this is a girl then I will fall over in shock.
Holding out for you till Tuesday xxx

professorastrocat · 03/04/2020 16:49

All good so far @BooMamaBear . of course next week is the big one, big hugs it must be an awful wait.

@calimommy I kind of feel the same haha! The wider family only seems to make boys and although we only have the one boy I am thinking boy again this time 😂

Needallthesleep · 03/04/2020 19:25

That’s amazing initial news @BooMamaBear. I can’t imagine how strong you have to be to do this. I’m in awe.

After Tuesday when do you find out the results?

Bumblebee413 · 03/04/2020 21:11

Fingers crossed for you @BooMamaBear. You're so close now after so many weeks of waiting. You can do this xxx

Congratulations @littletandme! Lovely to see you here!!

I've had to tell some colleagues unfortunately as we use aromatherapy oils at work that can cause miscarriage, but our familiar and friends don't know yet. I think, unless these restrictions get lifted, that we'll protect wait until after the 12week scan. Not for any superstition reasons- I'd tell them straight away if I miscarried. More that, despite feeling nauseous everyday, the sore boobs, the positive pregnant tests etc, I just can't quite believe that it's real. I just want to see it in real life first!
