So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@treacle81 I’m not allowed to treat shingles patients at work, and I’ve had chicken pox. I’d definitely avoid them x

Hi everyone 😊 following my scan today I'm pleased to say that things are basically looking good with the baby. It's in the right place and measuring the right size. Pain is being caused by a haemorrhagic cyst which is broadly normal, but can be very painful. Should resolve by itself within a few weeks. Heartbeat was a little faint so they've booked me in for another scan next week, but she said it could just be because baby is so small atm. All in all, very relieved! Pain still bad but so much easier to deal with now that I know baby is okay.

CouscousEvaporator · 12/02/2020 13:59

Ah blue moon what a relief!!! Congratulations

Catred4 · 12/02/2020 14:02

Sorry you're in pain @bluemoon2468 but such good news about bub!

LexiM · 12/02/2020 14:06

@bluemoon2468 I am so relived for you and hope the pain reduces very soon. Good they are being thorough and you get another scan.

Congratulations and welcome to all the new people here, sorry It’s hard to keep up!

@SkyBlue20 haha I know what you mean - I put the herbs in the fridge door instead of back in the cupboard the other day. I put it down to being exhausted!

@Treacle81 bet you can’t wait to see the midwife, I would have thought you should probably keep away from the office but know how hard it is when everyone doesn’t know!

I’ve had to tell a family friend because she’s organising a hen do for my step-mum to be and I didn’t want to commit to anything for a whole weekend next month (costing ££) when I’m already feeling rubbish. I just didn’t want her to think I was being horrible and no longer bothering so felt I had to say something. She’s very trustworthy so don’t think it’s a problem saying.

SkyBlue20 · 12/02/2020 14:14

Ahh what a relief, @bluemoon2468!! Bet you feel so much better for knowing. Hope the pain eases soon 💕

@lexim sounds perfectly reasonable to have told your friend - I told one of mine the other day as we’re gym buddies and there’s just a lot I can’t commit to/do and I trust that she won’t tell anyone else. Needs must, I think!

LexiM · 12/02/2020 14:33

@skyblue20 I agree, plus I think it’s better to say than for her to guess/potentially ask and put you on the spot!

LaurenN23 · 12/02/2020 14:41

@bluemoon2468 amazing news!! So so happy for you. What a relief 🥳👶🏼

SkyBlue20 · 12/02/2020 15:19

@LexiM omg the friend I told actually did - the very day I found out, she asked if husband and I thought we might like children soon, I was just like ‘ummmm...we’re hoping for this year’ 😂🙈 (She wasn’t rude in asking - it’s something we’ve both talked about a lot as we’re at similar stages). When I told her the other day I apologised for lying when I answered the first day 😂

JaffaCakeGal · 12/02/2020 15:56

I had to go to a family get together the day I found out, and put up with the "it'll be you next" jokes. Managed to just laugh and say yeh maybe sometime soon!

Ellabella234 · 12/02/2020 16:54

@bluemoon2468 relieved for you

Quiffy · 12/02/2020 17:22

@bluemoon2468 that's brilliant news! Bar the pain obviously! Get yourself on the couch and treat yourself tonight

ttc84 · 12/02/2020 17:26

Hey ladies

Huge congratulations.

I'm on dpo 34 and no af. I'm always on time 26. Had tiny spot of blood 3 days ago had cramps etc but scared to take test incase its bfn. My partner says just wait another week.

bluemoon2468 · 12/02/2020 17:43

@ttc84 how do people have this kind of willpower?! I had my BFP 5 days before I missed a period 😆

BooMamaBear · 12/02/2020 17:43

Hi can I join it's 6 weeks since the first day of my last period so I assume I'll be due early October but I actually don't want it now yet as I can't find o it bid I can proceed with the pregnancy after 11 weeks following CVS ty is will be #2 but my 4th pregnancy we had to lose l2 boys due to adverse test results! I'm de to be booked in on Monday then I have to have an 8 week datfor scan. Xx

BooMamaBear · 12/02/2020 17:43

Meant 8 weeks dating scan

ttc84 · 12/02/2020 18:01

Sorry I'm. Unable to tag. Omg it's killing me I'm holdinv tears in lol. Stomach bloated and cramps. X

ttc84 · 12/02/2020 18:02

Think I got 34dpo wrong lol. I'm on day 34 since my last af, 🤔

bluemoon2468 · 12/02/2020 18:12

@ttc84 just take a test! If you're pregnant then it'll be positive if you're 8 days late for AF!

ttc84 · 12/02/2020 18:17

Do you really think,? Oh my going to get one and take test in the morning 😊

bluemoon2468 · 12/02/2020 18:26

@ttc84 yeah, I don't see a way that a FRER wouldn't pick up a pregnancy at 8 days late, roughly 22DPO. If it's negative then I'd say it's almost certain you're not pregnant. Best of luck!

ttc84 · 12/02/2020 18:34

Thank you

newmummyy17 · 12/02/2020 18:48

@Togetherismyfavouriteplace congratulations. I am also in the early stages of pregnancy with baby no2. Im due the end of September but dont think the baby will come till the start of october as my daughter was late.

SkyBlue20 · 12/02/2020 18:50

Oh @Quiffy you poor thing, how are you getting on? Can you put off cleaning the house for now (or even better, get someone else to do it)?

@ttc84 I agree, do a FRER - it should easily pick it up by now. Good luck!

newmummyy17 · 12/02/2020 18:51

But I feel so overwhelmed as it feels strange being pregnant again as my daughter is 3 now and i was only 16 when i had her.
