I am 35 weeks and thinking about what food etc t I can have when baby arrives, almost like I am planning my last meal on death row.... Grin it needs to be planned and perfect. I am thinking steak (still mooing) red wine, gin, runny cheese (all) a HOT bath when recovered from birth that I can move in, laying face down on the Bed, COFFEE (All of it) and comfortable clothes....

Anyone want to share things to look forward to?

BTW yes I plan to breastfed and I have listed alcohol and caffeine.. All good things in moderation! A damn lot better than 9months of water

Lying in my front and being asleep for longer than 30 minutes without needing to pee. That's my main one.

Not much of the banned food makes it to my wish list, so prob just a decent vote of prosecco

Lemonysherbet · 10/12/2019 21:11

BRIE! Im only 15 weeks 🤣

CountYourRoosters · 10/12/2019 21:12

Lol, some great ones there. My favourite last time was lying on my back again Grin. Also, you feel so light for a while, like the skinniest person in the world, compared to the weight at your heaviest.

Justasconfusedwithnumber2 · 10/12/2019 21:12

Oooo prosecco. And yes yes to not needing a wee every time you stand up or lay down for that matter

Can you imagine being able to roll over in the night without it feeling like your pelvis may break... Heaven!

OMG! Give me a steak! I'm only 24 weeks!
And I cannot flippin wait to lie on my tummy to sleep. I hate side sleeping so much and a lovely hot bath. Not these horrible luke warm ones.

aliensprig · 10/12/2019 21:19

Just want to be comfortable in bed and be able to lie on my belly if I want... No chance of that at 37 weeks!!

I don't eat meat or dairy anyway but I'm looking forward to an enormous glass of wine Wine

LH1987 · 10/12/2019 21:22

Pate and crackers, brie, WHITE WINE!

lauryloo · 10/12/2019 21:24

All the brie, wine and pate

Christmas and pregnancy are so haed😂

Pinkpanther473 · 10/12/2019 21:31

I’m due just after Christmas and have gestational diabetes, I’m going to have my own little Christmas after party with Christmas cake and baileys Grin

attillathenun · 10/12/2019 21:32

Sleeping in any position I like, being able to wear all my lovely shoes and clothes and not my maternity “capsule collection” 😂 . Oh and eat and drink all the food!

I have to take tinzaparin injections for 6 weeks after birth so for now the alcohol will have to wait...but the wine has already been purchased 😂

WorldsOnFire · 10/12/2019 21:34

I have HG. I’m looking forward to everything post birth. Literally everything!

secretllama · 10/12/2019 21:36

I am missing haggis like crazy! Mesr enough every restaurant in Scotland has some kind of haggis starter and I want it so bad!

So I'm looking forward to a haggis or antipasti platter starter followed bye medium rare steak and lots of proseccos ! Then a bath so hot I see stars when I stand out of it Grin then being able to sleep on my back! Side sleeping is awful!

secretllama · 10/12/2019 21:36

Near enough* that was meant to say!

hazandduck · 10/12/2019 21:41

Oh Christ. Sex. I’m 32 weeks on Thursday and I just feel so uncomfortable I have given up having sex. Dream about it so much! I can’t wait to spring out of bed or be able to sit on the floor and get up effortlessly. I want to run and work out. I can’t even waddle without nearly pissing myself. To not have sciatica if I stand up for too long or sit down for too long. DH said I look like Father Christmas tonight in my red fleece pyjamas 😂 I can’t wait to just have my body back.

And the ultimate one - hot dog from the cinema!! I always crave them!

Bol87 · 10/12/2019 21:43

Another HG sufferer also looking forwards to just wanting to eat & not feeling sick!

Pregnancy makes me hate chocolate & cake, which is breaking my heart at Christmas quite frankly! I’m having the biggest slice of chocolate you’ve ever seen!

WorldsOnFire · 10/12/2019 22:03

@Bol87

First 16-18 weeks even the smell of sweet stuff made me wretch. Around week 18 (can’t remember exactly though) I started fancying a little bit again. Now I can manage 1-2 small bits of sweet per day and enjoy it (in that still feeling background nausea which never goes away kinda way) 👍🏻

frillyfarmer · 10/12/2019 22:05

Cheese and wine. But for now I'm semi happily existing on absolutely any meal which contains gravy. Only 11 weeks to go 😂

ineedanotherholiday · 10/12/2019 22:12

25 weeks here. Looking forward to seafood, lots of it, I know it's not actually on the banned list anymore but I've stayed away. Lots of coffee, a hot bath followed by lying flat on my back relaxing and on my front to sleep, bliss!

LH1987 · 10/12/2019 22:23

I’m really looking forward to every time I eat not feeling guilty that it should be raw vegetables or something similar!

UterusesBeforeDuderuses · 10/12/2019 22:34

Cannot wait to have a big plate of brie and crackers and a nice big spiced rum, then fall asleep on my back! I hate sleeping on my side

Pinky8383 · 10/12/2019 22:39

I'm gonna miss my Xmas pate, Brie, red wine & Prosecco....oh and Baileys lol! Due 22nd though so may stock up and have a delayed Xmas lol (last baby was late so thinking he'll not be here for Xmas)

YorkshirePud1 · 10/12/2019 22:47

Another vote for pate here too! I'm only 17 weeks and already dreaming about it. Oh and red wine 😋

R2D2abc · 10/12/2019 23:26

Pate, raw gordonzolla on fresh bread, prosciutto, I simply crave all things that I can't eat in pregnancy. 20 weeks now, less than 20 to go.
