Hellloooooo,

So I found out I was pregnant today. Very surprised as I was expecting my period (been cramping like mad for the past few days). Last period was on the 9th of Nov (28 day cycle) so I'm around 3 weeks. Very excited but still kind of in shock. I am extremely clueless about pregnancy, and yes, I know google is my friend, but I thought it'd be nice to join this and hopefully share/get advice from other pregnant chicks!

Don't be shy to say hola!

Xmas Smile

@Beku94 congratulations! I had cramping for about 3 weeks straight and then some pain here and there I just monitored the pain and if it was different. ☺️

Newmamaclub · 14/12/2019 17:09

I just wanted to ask if anyone’s symptoms have changed. I’ve started getting really bad acid reflux and being woken up every night by it too. I’ve already started going toilet during the night and this broken sleep is not working out for me. 😩 I’m so exhausted and I’m napping a lot. After every meal I feel sick. I’ve started to go off food now too only bland foods seems to be appetising. Ahh and another thing I wake up at least 3 times A night with dry mouth and lips which is horrible.

Has anyone else’s symptoms changed? Or is it just me.

Crazypanda85 · 14/12/2019 20:19

@Newmamaclub I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and today has been awful to be honest. I almost fainted at work and have thrown up after lunch and dinner. Before this was feeling smugly great, that'll teach me. Hope this doesn't last long, although all good signs baby is developing I suppose!

Crazypanda85 · 14/12/2019 20:21

Also new mama how many weeks are you?

EssElsiee · 14/12/2019 21:26

I’m 6+4 and I just feel like crap I feel nauseous like all the time!!!! I’m so picky with food I have gone off so much.. and I am exhausted can’t get a good nights sleep Hmm

Newmamaclub · 14/12/2019 21:30

@Crazypanda85 I’m 6 weeks 2.

And yes I feel like I was acting a bit too smug too 😩

kjgriffiths · 15/12/2019 10:37

Hey all.... totally new to this. Found out a week ago I'm pregnant and approx 4+4 weeks due august 19th. Despite this pregnancy being planned I am absolutely petrified.... anyone else feel like this?

mimiblack · 15/12/2019 10:57

I'm 5 + 1 now... still no symptoms apart from the odd cramps. I'm really really hoping I don't get morning sickness. It's the only thing I'm slightly dreading.

How is everyone doing? Welcome to all the August mamas tooooooo!

So looking forward to my GP appointment on the 23rd. Just want it to start feeling somewhat real lol.

I was wondering too, do you get given your scan date or do you chose when you want it done?

Congratulations to the August 2020 mums to be! I’m due August 12th. First pregnancy and very excited but also very nervous! @mimiblack- Hi from another Mimi! Like you my first GP appointment is on Dec 23rd Smile I’m feeling good overall, slight cramping and a sore lower back but otherwise ‘normal’ so far.

Sakkara22 · 15/12/2019 11:59

I'm due 19 August. My husband and I have been trying for 18 months and so I'm finding it hard to believe that this is now a reality. I took a test on Friday morning as it was my work Christmas do, I was 100% expecting it to be negative as my period was only a couple of days late (normal for me) but I wanted to be sure as I would be drinking that day. I was STUNNED to see a positive result! Then had to make up a story as to why I couldn't drink at the Christmas party Smile . Bit nervous about making it through the first trimester but trying not to worry. Have mega sore boobs at the moment but feel fine otherwise. Nice to meet you all, and congratulations!

samjacklogi88 · 15/12/2019 15:32

Congratulations I'm
Due end of July possible early aug 2020 I'm 7 and half weeks pregnant with my second and suffering terrible morning sickness at the moment and looking after a 2 year old I hope you have a good pregnancy and hope you don't get too
Many difficult symptoms although it all worth it in the end

kjgriffiths · 15/12/2019 15:51

@Sakkara22 I'm due on the 19th also! Congratulations xx

Everest1 · 15/12/2019 17:18

@Lilly950 last period for me was 6th novemebr. Also 1st pregnancy. So doesn't feel real at all. Ive had no symptoms other than weeing more😳 x

abs1232 · 15/12/2019 19:56

@kjgriffiths I'm exactly the same as you, 4+4 today and due 19th August 🙂

I am also quite terrified despite it being planned! I've been having some mild period-like cramps on and off since wednesday and although I've read that's its normal and lots of ladies have said they've had them too, they aren't doing anything for my nerves! I think when you're on a forum like here too you realise how many women sadly suffer MCs which is probably why I'm quite nervous.

How are your symptoms, have you had any?

kjgriffiths · 15/12/2019 21:04

@abs1232 no major symptoms just little things I’ve noticed. I have a dull achy feeling in my lower tummy... kinda like a did sit ups in the gym!! My sleep hasn’t been great which is odd for me... very restless! Other than that.... I’m all good! Very nervous though!

crazee · 16/12/2019 11:35

Hi everyone can I (cautiously) join? I got my BFP on Friday at 11dpo (with faint squinters since 9dpo). As of today I'm officially 14dpo. By my dates though I am 4weeks+4days.
This is my second pregnancy, my dd is 13 months.
I told everyone early last time, but this time I plan to keep quiet for as long as I can!

Julia37 · 16/12/2019 15:09

Hi all,

Please may I join you? I am 37 and five weeks pregnant due 20th August 2020. This is my first pregnancy and I am excited but anxious as my partner lives 100 miles away! Hope your all feeling well today x

relaxingorchid · 16/12/2019 18:21

Can I join?

2nd pregnancy (got a 2.5 year old) and DD is 24th Aug if my calculations are right. We got lucky and were only trying for a few months since coming off contraception. First drs appointment on the 19th.

Feeling nauseous, like with the 1st pregnancy, hoping that doesn't last too long!

Congrats to all the other Aug 2020 mums!

mimiblack · 16/12/2019 22:02

Awwww congrats @Sakkara22 - we tried for 6/7 months and every time my period came I was disappointed. Such a surreal feeling seeing the 2 lines ain't it?!

Guys, is eating maggi noodles bad during pregnancy? Reading up on it online and there's mixed views. Thoughts?

Hi ladies. Second time mum here but I'm almost 43 and have a nine-year-old. Taken nine years to get to this point and feeling a little terrified and excited all at the same time. Due around 16 August... Like many of you have work Christmas dos this week. Was at A&E tonight as I had bleeding and awful pains. Thankfully 'only' a urine infection so I will be off tomorrow and on antibiotics... Nice to meet you all.

Cluelessyoungmum · 17/12/2019 00:37

So i got my BFP 2 weeks ago! Due roughly August 4th. Tested very early as i was feeling sick and wanted to make sure i was still getting a period😭 shocked to see a positive result, but it is welcomed none the less.
Not exactly sure how far along I am but i believe around 6 week and 4 days as of today? Cannot remember the exact dates of my last period.
I am so wordied and anxious because i am barely 21 years old and I had so much plans, like finishing uni and becoming a teacher and now i have to reconsider everything and i am stressing about bringing a child into the world when i know that i cant support it as well as i could :(
Any mommas at all in a similar kind of boat?

Sakkara22 · 17/12/2019 06:50

@mimiblack yes, very surreal! I had to go and buy another test straight away and did it the toilets at work on my lunch break 😂

Bexy1393 · 17/12/2019 08:23

Can I join?

I got my BFP on Sunday and from what I have worked out I am due 24th August.

This is my second baby, I already have a 13 month old DS so I am going to have my hands full!

Congratulations everyone! Xxx
