I’m 16 weeks pregnant and have the tiniest bump - it just looks like I’ve had a big lunch to be honest. All my clothes still fit and you would not know I was pregnant by looking at me!

At what point did you get an unmistakable bump in your first pregnancy?

Mine was about 22 weeks X

PreschoolYes · 18/11/2019 20:31

About 22/24 weeks

georgialondon · 18/11/2019 20:38

About 6 months. No earlier

Zippetydoodahzippetyay · 19/11/2019 00:48

For my first it was about 24 weeks, but even then it was only obvious naked or in certain clothes.

Tiny bump from 22ish weeks
Didn’t really look obviously pregnant until at least 30 weeks and even then I had quite a small bump.
I stayed quite small and ‘neat’ until the end.

I told my work at about 19 weeks and some people said they had been wondering for a while even tho it had been big lunch looking and I didn't think too obvious. By 23 or 24 weeks strangers could tell! Mine seemed like it grew overnight

Kinsters · 19/11/2019 01:28

By 17 weeks I had people asking me when I was due. To me the bump was obvious at 12 weeks (and that's when I started buying new clothes) but looking back it was really tiny and still easy to hide/mistake for fat. I think I showed really early though as my torso is very short so there was nowhere else for everything to go.

About 6 months - frustratingly.

I just looked liked I'd put on some weight and felt a bit fraudulent in maternity clothes (so didn't wear them).

Then DS turned and I suddenly (overnight) got a a huge bump.

At work the next day everyone was shocked - they knew I was pregnant - but I went from a little pot belly to looking full on pregnant within 24hrs.

Wore the maternity clothes for the rest of my pregnancy (to the point they were recycled as cleaning rags) so overall it worked out ok as I'd have had to buy more clothes than I did and let's face it, maternity wear is expensive and hideous Grin

I was told 'congratulations' when I was 9 weeks and hadn't told anyone! Blush

Oliversmumsarmy · 19/11/2019 03:37

I had nothing until about 6 weeks before Dd was born. Then it grew into a fully grown baby bump

Oliversmumsarmy · 19/11/2019 03:37

Sorry

In one day

Strokethefurrywall · 19/11/2019 03:38

About 28 weeks

Insomniacscientist · 19/11/2019 03:40

23 weeks and then it “erupted” almost overnight leaving me with the most horrendous stretch marks :-(

Nat6999 · 19/11/2019 04:04

We went away for our first wedding anniversary when I was about 16 weeks. I tried to put on some black trousers I had packed to go out the first night, I couldn't get the waistband to meet by about 5 inches, ended up dashing to mothercare to buy some maternity trousers. From then I was in maternity clothes.

Purplequalitystreet · 19/11/2019 04:22

I remember going on holiday at 24 weeks and still just about fitting in my jeans. By the end of the holiday, no chance. I looked like a beachball with arms and legs

MsChatterbox · 19/11/2019 04:29

Someone thought I was ready to pop at 17 weeks 😭. You just have strong abs that's all!

AquarianSquirrel · 19/11/2019 04:41

About 5 months but 6/7ish months with clothes on!

Bentley111 · 19/11/2019 05:06

I had a small bump at 26 weeks - now 33 weeks and it is only really obvious that I'm pregnant and haven't just eaten a big meal!

I suffered with HG until 22 weeks and also was very fit before I fell pregnant.

starlightmagic · 19/11/2019 05:48

I’m 20 weeks and look like I’ve eaten a bit much 🙄

Mayborn · 19/11/2019 05:54

About 24, seems to be quite common

Mammyloveswine · 19/11/2019 05:59

About 30 weeks, even then if I wore loose clothing you couldn't tell!

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 19/11/2019 06:01

At about 28 weeks I started to look bloated, I kind of exploded over night at about 32 weeks and was only clearly pregnant for 5 weeks as he came 3 weeks early 😂

90schic · 19/11/2019 06:02

I erupted at 29 weeks, looked totally normal until then! I think it’s pretty normal, especially with a first. Don’t worry OP you will show soon :)

DragonMamma · 19/11/2019 06:05

I was about 24/26 weeks and even then it wasn’t that noticeable

CurlyTwirlyTwos · 19/11/2019 06:14

I was wearing normal jeans until 23 weeks, then 'loose' clothes until 30 weeks. It was frustrating - I was desperate to wear maternity gear and 'look' pregnant and have an obvious bump!

I think I could have hidden it until the end (if I tried 😂)!

It wasn't what I wanted at the time
(the comments are sooo hurtful at times). I don't have any stretch marks, my tummy were pretty much back normal very quickly after the birth (if you are looking positives in the same situation).

I'm not particularly fit, and I'm definitely not athletic either. Regular size 12.
