I’m 16 weeks pregnant and have the tiniest bump - it just looks like I’ve had a big lunch to be honest. All my clothes still fit and you would not know I was pregnant by looking at me!

At what point did you get an unmistakable bump in your first pregnancy?

Googling Kate Middleton now, lol.

Someone said that if you don't show for ages it means you have strong abdominal muscles, but I've never done a sit-up in my life!

‘Unmistakable’ about 21 or 22 weeks I think - but it was winter so I was wearing big jumpers. In tighter clothes it would have probably been more obvious from about 20 weeks or even 19 maybe.

6 months.

Taco I’m not hugely fit & I’m skinny thanks, mainly, to genetics but I did work in a fairly physical job at the time that meant I did a lot of lifting so I suppose that helped my abdominal muscles without me realising. With the younger 4 dc I had the older one/s to run around after & lug about which probably had the same effect Grin

Just to update - I’m now 19 weeks and finally have a small but unmistakable bump!

I was almost 7 months pregnant with my first when I started showing and got a bump.

BarleyG · 12/12/2019 05:13

About 28 weeks

I’m 35 weeks and it’s only the last week or two that I seem to have a bump. Even now, people are a bit unsure!

24 weeks, same for second baby - never looked hugely pregnant on the day I gave birth to the extent that the midwife thought I was in premature labour, it was my due date!

Fozzleyplum · 12/12/2019 06:35

About 7 months, but for both pregnancies I never developed a significant bump, to the extent that several people in our village were surprised when they saw me pushing a pram. The midwife and obstetrician were initially concerned, but both babies were fine (and nearly 8lb each). They put it down to my height and having strong stomach muscles, which in my case are down to genes rather than gym.

About 6 months at least. I was really quite neat, baby only 6lb 1 even though she was over a week late.

I could see a bump by 20 weeks . Was 56kg .

About 8 months with both pregnancies. I felt really guilty using priority checkouts as I didn't look pregnant at all!
