@bubblesqueak Haha seven! I only have one sore boob too - I thought it was my body being weird so glad I'm not the only one.

bubblesqueek · 30/10/2019 08:49

@wholemeal121 yeah and still do one here and there just to check haha. They are getting darker so it's making me feel at ease. Also got an early scan booked in.. weird isn't it mines just the right one, maybe it was my bigger boob to start with ha x

Thanks all! I am trying not be anxious about my lack of symptoms. I know is more likely to be fine than not, but I fear a MMC much more than an MC, and this is the first time I’ve ever been pregnant so nothing to compare to. Wondering if I can hold on to week 8 for an early scan, just to check.

bubblesqueek · 30/10/2019 10:03

@BuffaloCauliflower it's easier said then don't not to worry, the first few weeks are pretty tough I think.. I also ready bleeding a little is fine as long as your not filling a pad an hour but that's just good. I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine. I bled as 6 weeks with my first was pretty heavy too and she's now six and full off attitude haha. Xx

Hi everyone! I'm 25, just married, my husband is 26 and we found out last week we're expecting our first. Currently 5+6 and have only just told my parents but he doesn't want to tell his yet. We've booked in for an early scan this weekend as a precaution as I fell and broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and just want to be sure everything is okay. Has anyone started to develop a bump yet? Lol I know it's far too soon and thought it was because I haven't been able to move around much the past few weeks and had put on a bit of weight but even my husband is commenting on how much it looks like a small bump already

bubblesqueek · 30/10/2019 10:40

@bailey31 oh congratulations on the marriage and baby news!! Not so great in the ankle tho, hope that's not causing you too much pain, yeah a scan will reassure you.. I'm more bloated then bump but I do know what you mean like sticking out at the bottom haha xx

Ummm..hold out for those symptoms. I wasn't having much of anything and bam, today I'm 6 weeks and have been retching since 5am.

If you're having an early scan are you going private? I haven't seen a doctor yet as I self referred which gave me a scan date for the 16th December which seems like ages away.
I'd love a early scan as mmc is my worst fear like you @BuffaloCauliflower but not sure I can justify the cost of a private scan.

bailey31 · 30/10/2019 10:46

We booked our early scan through a private company just as a precaution, our first NHS scan/appointment isn't until 6th Dec and we just didn't want to wait that long. Thankfully no morning sickness yet so I've been able to hide it from everyone at work, but my bloated tummy/bump is getting bigger by the day and my work clothes are getting too tight so I doubt I'll be able to hide it for much longer. My OH keeps joking that it must be twins lol

toomuchteaandcake · 30/10/2019 10:57

There's a place near me that does early / vaginal scan from 6 weeks for 69 quid. I'm tempted to do that around the 8 week mark, I'm 5 weeks today

BuffaloCauliflower · 30/10/2019 11:04

@pollysproggle yes early scan would be private, there’s lots of places that do it for only about £70-90 though and worth it if it relieves my anxiety at all. Still not 100% safe but a heartbeat at 8 weeks puts the likelihood of MC down to 1.5%

BuffaloCauliflower · 30/10/2019 11:05

And maybe the symptoms are on their way! I never thought I’d be wanting to feel sick!

bellebox19 · 30/10/2019 11:06

Thanks so much @bubblesqueek ❤️ congrats to you too!

I've booked an early scan for 6+2, so just over 2 weeks time. It's an internal scan. Praying that little one will have a heartbeat at that point!

As a lot of you have said, I'm very anxious that all will be ok. I'm sure we'll all be fine 💖

Think I may be pregnant but the pregnancy test is so confusing. I think there is a line, but I'm not sure if it's in the right place! Want to post, but don't see how to do it. This is my first post on the website. Anyone got any ideas how to do this. Would love to join the 5weeks pregnant group with all of you so we can go through the journey together, but I need a definite positive! Driving me mad! 😂

pollysproggle · 30/10/2019 11:29

@643479844gdghh
There's a little paper clip symbol to uploads pics!

Maybebaby2020 · 30/10/2019 11:37

Mine doesn't have a paper clip. I have a smiley face, an "I" and an "@".... Hmmmm

bubblesqueek · 30/10/2019 11:47

@Maybebaby2020 you have to have been signed up 48 hours before you can post a pic xx

Iv got a private scan in for 3 weeks time so hopefully that will easy my anxiety a little bit and make it feel real. Finger crossed everything is okay and there's a little heartbeat.. Iv forgot all the rules you have to follow being pregnant!! No caffeine no shellfish no cheese can't think of any more ha xx

OP posts:
BuffaloCauliflower · 30/10/2019 11:55

@bubblesqueek - you can have caffeine but not more than 200mg a day (an instant coffee is about 100mg, you can google) most cheese is fine it’s just some soft and blue cheeses to be careful with. Shellfish is fine as long as thoroughly cooked. No more than 2 portions of oily fish a week. No pate, or liver and avoid some cured meats

bellebox19 · 30/10/2019 12:00

I tried to go cold turkey and miss my morning coffee but I struggled a lot yesterday! So I'm going to keep one morning coffee per day. I bought some decaf tea last night too. I almost forgot about most fizzy drinks, even diet stuff has caffeine! I'll maybe get some caffeine free Diet Coke for when I really want some. Luckily I have a dairy intolerance anyway or avoiding chocolate for caffeine would be a struggle lol.

Are you girls having slight cramps occasionally and wee twinges? It's so confusing cause it's like mild period cramps. Apparently it's normal xx

PracticallySpeaking · 30/10/2019 12:02

I’m 4+5 and sooo impatient! Glad you started this thread.

This is my second child. First is 5. Anyone else with a similar age gap?

I had a chemical last month, so am super happy that my bloods at 14dpo were 355. @thirteen92 try not to worry too much, possibly you just ovulated later - I would have been 23dpo at the blood test going by my last period but I know when I ovulated because of +opk and was also temping.

Been trying for almost a year. This was the 2nd month using pre-seed and taking Pregnacare Max. First month with pre-seed was a chemical. With my DD I also got pregnant the first cycle I used pre-seed.

Anyone else take pre-seed?

Symptoms: boobs are huge, nipples are sensitive, lightheaded if leave it too long between meals, and some cramping/twinges. Anyone else with cramping?

I’m still testing but think I should stop because the test line has been darker than the control for a while now and I think they’ve reached their maximum darkness

bubblesqueek · 30/10/2019 12:26

Thank you @bellebox19!! Yeah I had bad cramping yesterday reduced me to tears and I don't cry ha x

@PracticallySpeaking my little ones just gone 6 I'm so scared of the age gap it feels massive ha I feel like I'm going to be starting all over again.. I used the pregnacare to conceive with DD but obv none this time because wasn't trying. I keep testing and I would really stop too my are so dark also but it was good to watch them get darker and darker xx

Thank you @BuffaloCauliflower sorry I read both messages In one.. I normally drink loads of water but now I'm an office job it's always tea so bought some decaf rand just fancied a Diet Coke today so grabbed one then realised after it had caffeine in xx

OP posts:
BuffaloCauliflower · 30/10/2019 12:37

@bubblesqueek easy to lose track! Luckily the only caffeine I have is in coffee, usually I’ll have about 3 a day, but I’m coping with just one and the rest decaf. I drink lots of water at work, maybe get a big 750ml reusable bottle to fill at the tap and keep on your desk?

That’s one symptom actually - I’m definitely finding I need food more in the morning when I wouldn’t usually.

@PracticallySpeaking we used Pre-seed too, first month and there you go. I wasn’t offered a blood test by the doctor this early, did you request one?

bellebox19 · 30/10/2019 13:09

@bubblesqueek I actually bought more tests last night because I still didn't believe it was real!

Here's a pic of the stick one from about 5pm last night, smallest bit of pee was used lol 😂 but then I did a CB digital with weeks this morning with first urine and it said 1-2 weeks. I just thought maybe it'd say 2-3 as I'm 4 weeks today? Maybe just being paranoid! X
