Bleeding early Pregnancy?

Hi there I’m new here.
Looking for some hope and some with similar experience to what I am going through right now.

Some background if needed,
I have been ttc for close to 4 years now,
I had my first pregnancy with the help of IUI this Year in May unfortunately it ended quickly.

I recently did IUI with injectables,
My dr appointment for pregnancy test was scheduled 14dpiui 9/27, on 9/26 i had spotting completely felt like i was out this month, called the dr she said come in either way for bloodwork.. day of blood work shockingly surprised HCG 38.5 (low but higher than my first pregnancy.)

Bleeding never stopped (sorry tmi)
It got heavier, dr wants to retest hcg tomorrow to see if it will wise or come down..
Friday and early Saturday it was heavy, no pain, no clots, today spotting..

I have been instructed to stay in bed from friday to Monday, which gives me lots of room to think.

@HollieMarcelli I don’t have any good advice to give- your situation of waiting and not knowing sucks. I really hope you have good news tomorrow hun. I had a MC in December after a week of spotting. I don’t know if they were related or not. Someone suggested to me I might take progesterone as I am PG now (v early) but spotting again.

Im currently on progesterone, they had me start three days after My iui (9/15), because I recently had a m/c aswell in May.

I guess i will have to patiently wait and see what they say tomorrow.. i have read other boards with women experience heavy bleed and carry on to full term.. fingers crossed for both of us 🤞🏻

Are they monitoring your hcg levels?

I just want to give an update for any one reading and experiencing bleeding..
i did my hcg blood work today Friday i had 38.5 the dr wanted to see atleast 60 today,
Thank god my hcg was 231.. just got to keep resting and let this baby grow! 🙏🏻❤️
Wishing the best for everyone, this is such a scary time and hard not to get anxiety

Hey @HollieMarcelli I’m really glad you got good news! So are you still bleeding? When you say rest, how much rest are you having? Are you going to work? Walking around? I don’t know what to do xx

Its been hard to do but since friday AM
i been in bed and just resting.

I have my own business and work at home but I'm not even doing that! so I just took off!
Im due to go back Wednesday hopefully we keep rising..
Thursday to Friday late evening was heavy, scary, i thought no way we were expecting..
Saturday to now its much lighter but still like a regular menstrual flow.

Still scary!!! All i can do is hope for the best & wait.

That sounds horrible for you, but also heartening to hear you’re doing so we re HCG when you’re still bleeding a lot. Stay in touch, you’re a week ahead of me!

I’m still spotting but haven’t really bled at all. Still scary!
I am 4 wks... I feel SICK! It’s mainly just before I eat- like my body’s desperate for food. Also my boobs have hurt for about a week and a half now?! What about you?

Odd the only two things i have going on is heartburn at night, and sore boobs aswell.

Everyone’s different eh! I’m like a mad woman with my boobs- I keep sneakily feeling to check they still hurt. It’s cos when I had the MC they stopped hurting immediately. That was just me though. X

I’m feeling nervous today because I am a tiny bit achey (really just a tiny bit) in my uterus area and I am not feeling sick today. Boobs still hurt but I’m still spotting and I’m quietly worrying. I really wish that I manage to keep this one 🙏 x

Same experience with my mc in the past everything just stopped..
but this time around i have very heavy bleed when my menstrual was due i did not expect a positive hcg blood result.

Thank god today 620!

Stay positive,
To some of us bleeding may not be a negative!!!

Btw i do the same constantly checking if still sore.. car ride back home I experience my first cramp felt more like pressure, but went away..
im praying for you and me both girl!!

Hey @HollieMarcelli, two positives on tests for me this morning, very clear and appeared immediately. I’m still feeling anxious, I wish I could relax! I am going to work this morning and then a nice afternoon planned so hopefully I can chill a bit.

Just be positive and claim it!!
Im on my way now for HCG test again,
Im wondering when ill get to ultrasounds?
I feel like will have anxiety until we get to that heart beat.

Are you gonna hve your Hcg levels checked?
May give you alittle more peace of mind,
Especially if you’ve had a loss before.

I need 620 to double today,
I hardly slept because i had nausea all night.. wonder if that was morning sickness?

So todays Hcg was 858.5, not a double but the nurse said it’s ok because 72 hrs is usually double, this was like 44hr hcg..
I will have my nexted Monday and ill try to stay positive !!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I’m going to be having an early scan at 6 weeks but I’ll leave it until closer to 7 to give a higher chance of seeing something in case development has been slower or something.
Lovely, your hcg levels have increased loads! That’s really good news!! What did they say about spotting? If it’s only a little maybe that’s ok, but have you a midwife you can contact in case? You must be nearly 6 weeks now?
I am feeling so sick this afternoon and evening and sleepy! But I didn’t feel sick Weds/Thurs.
How are you apart from anxious?
