I'm not showing yet @myloveforfrazzles (15+4) but my trousers are definitely snugger around the tummy. I definitely feel bigger in my lower abdomen - sort of how your belly might stick out there when you have a really full bladder. It's like that all the time - so when I have a full bladder it feels like I'm showing but only till I go to the loo 😂

I've put on 5lbs so far, think I need to cut back on the mash potato a bit!

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 20:20

I thought I was showing but it's just bloat. I've put 5.5lb on and only 13.5 weeks lol

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 20:22

@dinosauraddict jemstar from the chlomid thread has whatsapped me and is asking how you're doing :)

MunchyMunchkin · 16/09/2019 20:24

Lots of lovely scans today. Congrats everyone!

Had to wear smart clothes to teach some GPs and ended up in a maternity dress - just looked flabby.

myloveforfrazzles · 16/09/2019 20:27

I’m only just under 7stone anyways so I thought I’d start showing early

DerbyshireGirly · 16/09/2019 20:28

@Jesskir89 not long, only a week and a half!

@myloveforfrazzles think I am a tiny bit, just look a bit fat most of the time but when my bloating goes down there's definitely a teeny little tilted bump down there

Dinosauraddict · 16/09/2019 20:43

Welcome @myloveforfrazzles!
Congrats on your boy @brookelopez.
Aww @Jesskir89 that's lovely, how is she? I'm currently 14+6 and doing well.

Update from me - I've really 'popped' in the last few days. A dress I tried on last Tuesday was fine, then by Thursday was really showing a proper bump. Counting down to my gender scan - I just really want to know now!!

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 20:49

@myloveforfrazzles I don't think I've been 7 stone since I was in school I'm double that now lol.

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 20:50

@dinosauraddict she's doing OK she's still down of course but is hopeful for this cycle :)

MiniJMac · 16/09/2019 20:54

Hi there, can I join?
I'm Jo and mum to a son who was born in June 2015.
Estimated due date is the 18th March 2020 but I have my first scan tomorrow.
I signed up to mumsnet when I had my son but never got in touch with anyone.
Hope everyone is okay :)

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 21:02

@minijmac welcome to the friendliest thread on mn :) and congrats

Dinosauraddict · 16/09/2019 21:56

Welcome @MiniJMac !

@Jesskir89 please tell her I've got everything crossed for her this cycle!! X

myloveforfrazzles · 16/09/2019 22:30

Welcome!! @MiniJMac

@Jesskir89 oops, I meant just under 8 stone. I’m only 5’2, I look about 13😂 I’m looking forward to the funny looks when I’m walking around with a prom

brookelopez · 16/09/2019 23:37

thanks for your wishes everyone. today has been quite emotional for me. I an NC with the baby's dad due to him gas lighting me and not being kind in general. He knows I've had the scan and I forgot to block him via texts, so he's been harassing me all day wanting to know what 'hes' having, and I'm a selfish bitch etc. he actually tried to invite himself to the scan last week and I had to change venue in case he showed and ruined it for me.

in other news, tonight I can't stop farting

Dinosauraddict · 17/09/2019 05:24

@brookelopez that sounds really stressful (which is not what you need right now). I assume the split is also really recent so must be very raw. Hope you've got a good support network around you.

Jesskir89 · 17/09/2019 06:47

@dinosauraddict will do :) @myloveforfrazzles I'm very jealous and lol sod any nosey parkers

myloveforfrazzles · 17/09/2019 08:47

@brookelopez I’m sorry to hear that. You don’t need the stress. It sounds like your mum and friend are there to support you though

myloveforfrazzles · 17/09/2019 13:29

Has anyone started considering names? We already have a girls name picked out but it just feels like we’re never going to find a boys name we both like

DerbyshireGirly · 17/09/2019 13:42

@myloveforfrazzles we have thought of some boy names...I'm so convinced we're having a boy that's all I've been able to think of. I really like Caspar at the moment, hopefully the ghost connotation won't be so strong in our babies' generation! What have you got picked?

brookelopez · 17/09/2019 13:45

thank you both. I do have support but I feel like this shouldn't be my life if that makes sense? I'm happy to be pregnant, it was a happy accident, I wouldn't change the baby for the world. Just wish his dad wasn't so nasty.

I have my boys name picked out already, it's easier for me because only I have to say yes to it Grin it's so difficult finding a name that suits at every stage of life but I think I've cracked it.

myloveforfrazzles · 17/09/2019 13:49

@DerbyshireGirly Caspar is lovely!. We have Julia Edie Hope picked out if we have a girl. We have nothing for a boy, my favourite name is George and his is Stanley but we want something a bit more unusual.

@brookelopez that’s understandable. I can imagine it’s much easier choosing a name you love when it’s just you who picks it!. That’s the issue isn’t it, I love names that work for little babies and then I imagine them being an adult and it just doesn’t work.

DerbyshireGirly · 17/09/2019 15:36

@myloveforfrazzles thank you! Your choices are lovely too, very classic. I also really like George but it is everywhere at the moment.

myloveforfrazzles · 17/09/2019 15:42

Thank you :) and yep I’ve noticed that. That’s the one thing putting me off George. I’m saying all this but we might be having a girl so we might not have to worry.

Was sent home from work today because of the sickness. Any idea when it starts to ease off? I can’t deal with it much longer

DaniX91 · 17/09/2019 17:04

@maria94 yes, my hips (especially my right one) are killing me. Especially when I'm lying in bed. I'm only 14+4 but have invested in a pregnancy pillow to put between my knees to see if that eases it. It's horrible isn't it!

Yvonne1988 · 17/09/2019 17:16

Spreading the news today. Dp told his friends. I told the 1 person I talk to lol. Told the kids as well. Got 2 excited girls. And a shocked teenager feels very real now.
