@Jesskir89 Love a look on the general boards when I’m bored. There are some weirdos out there.

@barnyb congrats on the girl!

Ginandtonic31 · 15/09/2019 09:11

The general boards stress me out as people are so mean. And also they sometimes make you question every element of your life!

I'm struggling with how fat I am. I gained a stone just before getting pregnant (maybe ivf drugs, maybe food) and now I'm getting bigger it doesn't look like s baby its just fat. Like a barrel. Wish I could be sure it's bloating. But I don't think I will get a nice bump.

brookelopez · 15/09/2019 12:38

has anyone else been really lucky and not had morning sickness? I've been sick once in my whole 16 weeks, and that was caused by me brushing my tongue too hard.

maria94 · 15/09/2019 12:41

@brookelopez I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and also haven't been sick once! 🤭

brookelopez · 15/09/2019 13:33

we are really lucky @maria94!

Ginandtonic31 · 15/09/2019 13:36

@brookelopez I haven't been. I've been sick twice but the first time was after a long bike ride and the second during a migraine so I don't think pregnancy related.

barnyb · 15/09/2019 13:49

@brookelopez I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I also haven't been actually sick. But iv been so so so so so bad with nausea. x

barnyb · 15/09/2019 13:49

@MockingJay27 that's a lovely idea for gender reveal! Bonfire night is my wedding anniversary I love this time of year coming up :) so magical x

Jesskir89 · 15/09/2019 18:12

@munchymunchkin they are strange some of them lol. @ginandtonic31 I'm the same hun I lost 20lb before I got my bfp preparing me for ivf but the chlomid didn't help weight loss at all. I've been on 2 holidays since my bfp so I've already gained 5.5lb and I'm only in my 14th week! @barnyb congrats! Can we see the scan pic? @brookelopez I've only been sick once but had a few bad days with feeling sick

Ginandtonic31 · 15/09/2019 19:47

@Jesskir89 I'm also 14 weeks and gained about that without a holiday! I go on holiday in 2 weeks so I'm really worried! I was doing well keeping my weight stable and then bam this week there's loads. I've no idea what I'm going to wear on holiday. I've never ever weighed this in my entire life!!

maria94 · 15/09/2019 20:05

@barnyb I think we have the same due date lol! I find out the gender next week, I'll be 16+3 so fingers crossed they'll be able to tell me 🤞🏼

SweetChillis · 15/09/2019 20:18

I'm 15 weeks today and not been sick. Had terrible nausea though which seemed to have stopped 2x weeks ago 🤞🏻

I've actually lost weight since BFP, I'm down 4lbs which I think is a mix of nausea and smaller appetite. I just can't eat big meals. I'm hoping that's considered normal in early pregnancy 🤔

barnyb · 15/09/2019 20:21

@maria94 aww that's lovely! 2nd March? I found out at 15-5 so I'm sure they will be able to tell you! Just make sure u have really full bladder so it's lovely a clear! :) xxx

barnyb · 15/09/2019 20:31

@SweetChillis I also went down 4lbs and I hear it's very common to lose some weight ! But I also have noticed the last week or two iv put a few back on since iv been able to eat more! Also not been as active as I would normally be due to feeling so tired and hideous. Xxx

maria94 · 15/09/2019 20:42

@barnyb yeah 2nd of March!! I'm so excited but worried they'll get it wrong 😂 I suppose that's what comes with finding out early! Do you know if having a 4D scan make it more definite/clear to see? X

MunchyMunchkin · 15/09/2019 21:07

I’ve put on 1-2kg depending on when I weigh. Within limits but does not explain all the flabbiness I am feeling!

brookelopez · 15/09/2019 21:14

I'm finding out the gender tomorrow, I'll be 15+5, so excited!

barnyb · 15/09/2019 22:05

@maria94 oh my goodness haha since my scan yesterday I have been thinking imagine if she got it wrong and I'm having a boy not a girl! Haha. However, I googled what a boy would like at a gender scan and from what I saw, the boy parts are very obvious 😂 and my baby didn't have that! I don't know about the 3D. She did offer a quick taster of the 3D but she did say that some people are a bit shocked at what the baby looks like at this stage and it's better to see baby after 28 weeks to get a better image and baby is formed better xxx

maria94 · 16/09/2019 07:12

@barnyb yeah they do look a bit funny on the 3D ones😂 it's included in the package I've paid for so I'm hoping it might just give a clearer picture to tell if it's a girl or boy! 🤞🏼

Yvonne1988 · 16/09/2019 09:52

Scan day for me today.

ELW85 · 16/09/2019 10:00

@Yvonne1998 - good luck, it’ll be great!!

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 10:10

@ginandtonic31 put too much pressure on yourself as long as you're eating fruit and veg etc and have a balanced diet you'll be fine. I'm trying to lose a couple this week so I don't balloon but it's hard when you've got a big appetite. We must be having boys lol

blondie87 · 16/09/2019 11:34

All the best for those with scans x

emmaclare83 · 16/09/2019 11:46

Had my 12 week scan only to find I was actually 13 weeks on Friday! So my new DD is 20th March. I was actually pretty shocked to see my baby in there, having convinced myself through sheer panic that I had somehow got things wrong or had lost the baby. I have to say, coming on here and getting reassurance that worrying was a normal part of the scan/pregnancy process helped me no end! Thank you ladies.

There was definitely a baby in there on Friday, a particularly "active" one as well. This was possibly the most overwhelming experience of my life, I just burst into tears. This is my first baby and I have never been particularly emotional about babies, so this is all new. Best feeling in the world though. Now, to try not to obsess over nub theory while at work...any takers on the gender?!

Jesskir89 · 16/09/2019 12:08

@emmaclare83 congrats what a lovely scan. I can't make out the nub it's not clear. Neither was mine but we want a surprise anyway
