Hi, 3+3 (did an early test today!) and app says due end of March. We had a Mc in Feb but this will be our first baby :)

How are you feeling?

FairyDustSprinkles · 14/07/2019 17:21

@Keyboard91 congrats ! I'm 4 weeks + 4 so far. I am cramping , boobs huge nipples pointy sensitive and been very emotional noticed if I eat I feel better so trying to eat little and often . What are your symptoms?

Keyboard91 · 14/07/2019 17:27

So far cramping (which made me test), big sore boobs/sensitive nipples and today I’ve had dizziness. I don’t feel sick but have bouts of being ‘off’ so hopefully that doesn’t change ... HAHA! Who have you told?

FairyDustSprinkles · 14/07/2019 18:13

@Keyboard91 we have similar symptoms. So far only my husband and mum know we plan to tell everyone else after 12 weeks We plan to do the harmony screening test so I may tell friends after this . Work I'll tell after 16 weeks . Who have u told ?

@FairyDustSprinkles my sister and best friend knows (as does my fiancé!). I’ll tell my sibling at 6 weeks I think - they were great support when I had my MC so will want them to know, but I kind of want to hide away for the next couple of weeks until I pass the point I got to last time. I go back to work when I’d be around 10 weeks so I suspect I will have to tell colleagues then as it’ll soon come out if I’m running out of class every 5 mins to hurl and/or pee when we share one bathroom between 25 of us! Will also need a risk assessment so want to get that done as soon as I return to the classroom post Summer.

FairyDustSprinkles · 14/07/2019 18:40

@Keyboard91 at ten week fingers crossed we will both not be vomiting and feeling sick so people will not suspect a thing ! I'm finding keeping it to my mum and husband quite lonely but I can't bare telling anyone else! Have u bought any pregnancy books? I got a nice one from Waterstones . Do you exercise ? I'm still working out and made me feel better earlier especially with the mood swings ShockGrin

Keyboard91 · 14/07/2019 21:30

@FairyDustSprinkles that would be nice but tbh if vomiting and feeling like crap is what it takes to have a successful pregnancy this time then I’m in!
It is quite lonely but I also like that it’s our little secret for now.
I have the Pregnancy encyclopaedia and how to grow a baby - book wise. They were both from Jan so I got them very early! But I wanted to have them for reassurance and reference.

I am so hot tonight, literally led here butt naked spread eagled on the bed with all available windows open 😂

emmab96 · 14/07/2019 21:39

Hey, okay if I join? I'm 5 weeks today! 1st baby very excited, noticed that I'm more miserable when I'm hungry and I've got the sore boobs too haha!

FairyDustSprinkles · 14/07/2019 22:19

@Keyboard91 OMG me too I am starfishing with just undies on I am boiling which must be pregnancy not usually this hot . These babies are making us sweat already GrinGrin I may get that book too our babies will be just fine . I like feeling all the symptoms makes it feel real x

potatofeind · 14/07/2019 22:37

Hiya! Can I join? I'm 5 weeks today with DC2. I'm super excited but absolutely exhausted. How's everyone else doing?

Mrskcam · 14/07/2019 22:49

Can I join, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow! So excited

emmab96 · 14/07/2019 22:56

@FairyDustSprinkles been really craving apple juice all I've been drinking all weekend haha! What about you any cravings yet?

emmab96 · 14/07/2019 22:57

@Keyboard91 I think I'm going to try and stick out as long as I can I feel as if I'd get bored at home too long before the baby came haha

emmab96 · 14/07/2019 22:59

@potatofeind @Mrskcam congrats girls! Super exciting isn't it! Anyone else finding it so hard to keep quiet? I'm planning to wait until 12 weeks to spill the beans what about everyone else?

ScatterBrain912 · 14/07/2019 23:26

Can I join too? I'm currently 4+3. I had a miscarriage in April with my first at 6 weeks. I'm so hoping for a sticky bean this time! I've only told the OH today. I'm so super nervous and worried though, I don't seem to have any symptoms other than peeing loads and feeling nauseous every now and again. Last time I had sore boobs, peeing loads, feeling nauseous and dizzyness so it's definitely different this time which I think is making me even more worried. Trying to stick with a positive mindframe though!

potatofeind · 15/07/2019 00:07

@emmab96 I'm really struggling to keep my mouth shut. I really just wanna tell my mum and my MIL as I know they'll be the most excited

FairyDustSprinkles · 15/07/2019 06:24

@ScatterBrain912 hi! It's hard to not worry isn't it I don't think having less symptoms is a concern lots of women feel exactly the same for weeks and go onto have perfect little babies I know my other mate is also pregnant and doesn't feel any different expect her period stopping . Have u got your booking appointment yet ?Mine is on the 29th Smile

Hi, by my dates I should be due February but had a scan today that dates me on 4th March.
I'm measuring behind my dates at 6w+5d. I'll have more of a better date on the 12week scan .
Third pregnancy.

Keyboard91 · 15/07/2019 14:05

@FairyDustSprinkles I’m thinking February half term for maternity - will look at how feasible that is closer to the time/after 12 week scan if I make it that far.

Welcome @emmab96 @Mrskcam @potatofeind @Rainboe1

@ScatterBrain912 I had a MC at 6 weeks in Jan so we can hope for sticky ones together ❤️ Completely paranoid though. Obsessively checking the loo roll 🤦‍♀️

Doing okay today, lacking in energy and have a massive headache. No cravings as yet, just very cold drinks and ice lollies. Ive told a couple of my close friends as they were great support through my MC. I haven’t told my mum as she was rude behind my back last time (she told my brothers I shouldn’t of told them so early ... so this time I’m not telling her so early!). I have however gone up a cupsize already which I wasn’t expecting!

How is everyone doing today? Xx

FairyDustSprinkles · 15/07/2019 14:20

@Keyboard91 ha your post made me chuckle good on ya for telling who u want! Today I'm feeling rotten nausea has fully set in had to pull over on the way to work today but nothing came out . Boobs are huge and still cramping and generally exhausted . This little baby is already wiping us out Grin

OP posts:
Keyboard91 · 15/07/2019 14:31

@FairyDustSprinkles boo to nausea! I actually brought Vomit bags last time to keep in car and handbag - they have powder in them which makes its solid and easier to dispose of.

I keep having the ‘OMG I’m having a heart attack ... oh wait it’s just boob pain’ panic. I’m safely plonked on the sofa in my sweats, not going anywhere! Just want to sleep 😴
