I found out last week (at two days past expected AF) that I'm pregnant - had a BFP on a First Response test. This is my third pregnancy since October last year. Works out that I'm due around the 3rd Feb 2020.

I've had two miscarriages - one in October 2018 at 12 weeks which resulted in surgery and another in February 2019, which ended at 6 weeks. I'm really quite nervous, but hopeful that this time is third time lucky. 🤞🏻🌈

Is anyone else due in Feb 2020? Are you having any symptoms?

#S082018 I've been napping a few times throughout the day 😂 been off work a bit as been feeling really rough and my first son has been off school unwell so had plenty of time for naps! Back to work tomorrow though and face an 8 hour shift on my feet! Dreading it tbh! I've not told them yet, reluctant to say anything until I've had my first appointment.

Does anyone take their partners to the first appointment? Mine finds it tricky getting time off so better to save the time for the scans etc but don't want him missing anything?

larr7 · 16/06/2019 18:42

Plus, I really want to take another clearblue weeks indicator to see if my weeks have changed but I'm scared it will come up not pregnant 😂

S082018 · 16/06/2019 19:45

@larr7 yes best not to say anything just yet! I start a new job in a few weeks...dreading telling them 😫🤦🏽‍♀️

I won't be taking my husband to the booking appointment, like yours he struggles to get too much time off work so would much rather he takes the time off for scans. From what I have heard about the booking appt, it mainly goes through history of health issues, blood test and mainly all about the mummy to be!

I re-did a clear blue digital! The first one I did on the 5th June said 1-2 weeks. Repeated it on the 10th and got 2-3 weeks! I've read that it can take a while to jump to 3+ weeks but I have one digital test left so planning on doing that one at the end of next week in the hope I get my 3+ weeks result!

larr7 · 16/06/2019 20:09

#S082018 How amazing, I done mine and got 1-2 weeks on June 3rd! We're so close!! I've been told you should add 2 weeks on? Apparently its written in the instructions that I didn't read 🤣
I don't have any tests left but so tempted to buy one, I had positive readings from a cheap one, 2 first response tests and clear blue so I know I'm pregnant I just need to see it again. Silly really, as I know I'll start to panic if the weeks haven't changed. The mind really is a funny thing isn't it!
Is this your first? I have a nearly 12 year old so have a huge age gap, it's like doing it for the first time again!

Rhi92 · 16/06/2019 20:46

Hi ladies, it's been a while since I've been on something like this. I have an 8 year old Ds already. I'm also due in feburary. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who's experiencing the bloating and extreme tiredness! Sore heavy boobs started day before yesterday. I've been experiencing nausea for a while but no sickness yet! Congrats to you all with your BFP!! X

S082018 · 16/06/2019 21:51

@larr7 Omg I'm the same! I tested on the 5th with the digital and then did a FR test on the 6th and 7th and did another one this week 🙈 I know it's not helpful but in a strange way it is reassuring!

Yes this will be my first 😊 very excited but very anxious at the same time! How are you feeling given the age gap?! Would you say you're experiencing similar symptoms this time around to your last pregnancy?

Wishing56 · 17/06/2019 06:04

@larr7 i am the same just keep testing. I have took 4 tests on Thursday (as couldnt believe it), 1 FRER on Saturday morning just to double check (lol). Yesterday i did an amazon prime same day delivery for a CBD with weeks which I have just done and it showed 2-3 weeks (im 4+5)
I have one CBD left which I may use next week. Just cant stop peeing on sticks!

I havent had the tiredness yet but boobs are constantly sore, bloated and get a bit of nausea around 11am that passes after an hour. Kinda like have these symptoms so I know something is going on.

Have a really bad cold today though and hate that I cant take any medication as feel so rough.

larr7 · 17/06/2019 06:41

#S082018 I'm terrified to be honest! I literally have no clue what I'm doing, everything is so different to how it was when I was pregnant before, there were no hone visits or waiting until 8 weeks for an appointment. I had an early scan just after i found out. As for symptoms I remember feeling sick and being off certain foods, but don't recall the extreme tiredness or bloating. But as my lovely mum pointed out I was rather alot younger then and I lived at home with her so had no housework or anything to keep on top of. After work if just rest, don't have that option any more. 😂

larr7 · 17/06/2019 06:44

#Wishing56 I know what you mean! Without the symptoms it wouldn't feel real and I'd be peeing on sticks every day 😂
I had a cold just After I found out. I was having Lemsips before I realised you shouldn't! Oops! Stopped straight away and just dealt with it, not very well 🤣 not the best patient! Hope you start to feel better!

catmum2019 · 17/06/2019 11:24

Hi all! Can a lurker turned newbie join?
I think I’m about 5-5.5weeks, BFP last Sunday, the day before AF due. So EDD around mid Feb ish...
Still in shock! (Was a planned pregnancy, just didn’t think we’d actually be lucky!)
Only just plucked up the courage to ring the GP today for fear of jinxing things, my anxiety about miscarriage is high 😕 I blame the hormones - the receptionist congratulated me and I almost cried 😂 but all seems fine so far 🤞🏼 , horribly sore boobs at times, but otherwise just mild symptoms so far.
Congratulations to all anyway, looking forward to the adventure! 😄 x

Roxy8203 · 17/06/2019 12:56

Apparently I am, I thought I was due in Jan but after an early scan yesterday the nurse has put me back 2 weeks due to the measurements. A little disappointed but we saw the flickering of a heart beat so happy that it viable. This is my first baby and at 37(on Thursday) the whole thing is a little daunting and worrying. The scan showed the baby yolk is 2.1mm, going back for a rescan in two weeks to see how it's getting on

ImMeantToBeWorking · 17/06/2019 13:00

@S082018 so I went to the doc last Thursday when I had a day off anyway and he confirmed the 16th of Feb, we must have a very similar cycle. 😂 😂

He recommended the BabyCentre App so I have got that to keep track and he has sent a letter off to the hospital to register me with them.

I am still getting cramps most mornings but (TMI here) since I didn't go loo in 4 days what can you expect?

@larr7

I am hungry like ALL THE TIME. I have already had a bowl of cereal, 3 small oranges, an apple, half a mango, 5 or 6 strawberries and natural yogurt since 8am and I am hungry again! I slept most of the weekend and it was glorious. I have no morning sickness yet but I had a MC two years ago and I had none then either so fingers crossed.

I have taken to wearing sports bras all the time as normal bras are just too sore to wear.

@larr7 I hear you. It does not seem real at all. I am waiting for it to really sink in but it hasn't yet!! Hopefully it will soon!!

LittleMissi · 17/06/2019 13:44

Hi all,

Please can I join? I think I'm due around the 19th Feb eeekkk.

I had some light spotting which really worried me. I spoke to the doctor today and he said plenty of rest but not to worry as it's "old blood" and quite common. Hope that might also help some of you?

@ImMeantToBeWorking I have sent you a message to join the FB group. If I recall, we both were waiting around the same time and had our birthday on the same day? The 8th? :)

MrsC89 · 17/06/2019 14:29

Called the doctors surgery this morning, have an appointment with the GP tomorrow. Feeling really nauseous, then eat and get heartburn, I'm only just over 4 weeks, symptoms are really strong.

Gemster19 · 17/06/2019 15:55

I'm in ladies Smile.

Got my BFP on Saturday, the day AF was due. I'd had a week of not being able to keep my eyes open past 6:30pm, an awful taste in my mouth and some twingy one-sided pains, but this was our first cycle TTC and so I'd told myself they were all slightly odd AF symptoms as I never thought we would be so lucky so quickly! Had ordered some tests that arrived Saturday lunchtime and once they were in the house I couldn't even wait until Sunday for FMU, but got a lovely clear positive straight away.

According to my calcs I'm 4+3, so due somewhere in 3rd week of Feb 2020, depending on the calculator.

Slightly terrified that all I have is a silly little stick with blue lines to show for it. I'm too scared to do more tests to try and convince myself in case they come back negative lol. Where I live you apparently don't have any healthcare interaction until a midwife appt at 8+ weeks, and we're on holiday in week 8 so will be at least 9 for me. I almost feel like I'm lying too - no idea how I'm going to last the next 4, let alone, 36 weeks, the excitement/anxiety is already turning me into a crazy woman!

pandaobsessed · 17/06/2019 17:31

Hello again ladies. So happy to see lots more BFPs. Congrats!!!

Morning sickness has officially hit. I had HG with my son. Thankfully it's not that bad so far, however I feel terrible 🤢

I didn't want to be added to the FB previously, but being sick is a good sign so think I'm ready to be added x

OceanPearl · 17/06/2019 17:42

@pandaobsessed your comment literally could have been written by me!
I’m 5+5 and the sickness has hit. I also had hg with my daughter and I’ve been so emotional worrying that hg will return. And if anyone asks if I’ve tried ginger biscuits I will loose it!! Haha. I don’t think you can fully sympathise how debilitating hg is unless you’ve experienced it. xx

Peggyssue · 17/06/2019 19:55

Jumping on hope you don’t mind, congratulations to everyone I am 6 weeks today got my bfp last Sunday due around 10th feb, mainly just feeling ridiculously tired which isn’t being helped by the fact I am really struggling to sleep at night. today I am so emotional, I’m snappy and very teary I’m just hoping this stage doesn’t last too long as I’m feeling very sorry for myself today😭 how’s everyone else feeling? Also has anyone booked a private early scan? We have one booked for when I’m 8 weeks purely because we’re too impatient to wait until the 12-14 mark

tisonlymeagain · 17/06/2019 20:06

Feeling yucky and sicky and appetite has disappeared - I also seem to have accidentally turned vegetarian! Hoping that doesn't last...I love my meat normally!

Scan appointment came through today, July 30th. I will be almost 13 weeks, all going well. Glad I have booked my NIPT scan at 10 weeks.

Geo33 · 17/06/2019 20:37

Hi there! I am also due in Feb (20th), but have been trying for 18 months I’m so nervous it’s not true/ I’ll miscarry as miscarriages seem to be a lot more common that I originally thought!glad to be sharing this with some people as not telling any family or friends until 3 months! I’ve been having mild periods type pains so getting paranoid because I’m not sick or feeling nausea that there’s something wrong! Anyone else feeling nerves?

pandaobsessed · 17/06/2019 21:17

@OceanPearl yes!! Hello fellow HG-er. It's horrible isn't it? I remember crying for days with it. Luckily (although I feel like death) I'm not too bad. I'm 7 weeks today and it started around 6+5 and gradually got worse to how it is now. I'm with you on the ginger biscuits. I must have tried everything last time 🤢😂

Gemster19 · 18/06/2019 06:57

@Geo33 I'm feeling exactly the same, so nervous as I really had no idea how common it was for pregnancies to go wrong, and it feels like forever until I will know, as much as you ever can I guess, that everything is ok.

I haven't really had any nausea/sickness yet, I'm just very light headed when I stand up.

Is anyone else struggling to sleep? I am so tired I can't even explain it, and then once I'm in bed I'm awake every 20 minutes!

I love your name @WineOrGin! It’s going to be a long time before that! I found out on the 14th June! @Gemster19 I’m glad we’re in the same boat, again got period like cramps in the middle of the night but apart from that have good energy levels and feel good! I forgot to say the first time Congratulations all here’s to a healthy pregnancy to us all!!
