Hiya. I was wondering if someone can give me some help. I had my lmp on 26th march and got my bfp on 28th April. Was anxious as soon as I found out as didn't have may pregnancy symptoms like I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. Anyway went for an early scan at what I thought was 7.5 weeks but scan showed me at 5.5 with only a sac, yolk and a possible fetal pole. She couldn't confirm. Anyway now I'm stressing out as have to wait 2 weeks to find out if this is a viable pregnancy 😥

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm sorry @Sparkly Flowers

moomin11 · 11/06/2019 08:18

Sorry you are going through this too Sparky. I haven't had any experience of taking the tablets as my mcs happened on their own each time. I opted for the surgery instead once but miscarried before the date of the op.

Sparklyshoes16 · 11/06/2019 22:54

Thank you for the kind words all I can say it was horrendous but I don't think I could have waited for it to happen naturally, was discharged this evening and now in bed trying to drop off.

My heart goes out to you allThanks

Hope you have a smooth recovery Sparklyshoes16 Flowers

Glad you managed to get an appointment Cherylinaa the waiting is awful isn't it. Has anything started on its own? It's such a long drawn out process.

Cherylinaa · 12/06/2019 14:47

No nothing yet. The wait is awful. I knew something was wrong after the first scan and it's been 4 weeks since so the wait has been far too long 😔😔

It's almost the worst part about it. 6 weeks now since my first scan, I'm hoping this week will be the last of these appointments. I hope everything goes smoothly for you on Friday x

moomin11 · 13/06/2019 13:38

So my scan this morning showed the sac has gone and lining looks normal etc so no need for the op tomorrow. I'm relieved this part of it is over. I just feel so tired. Hope everyone is doing ok x

Cherylinaa · 13/06/2019 13:57

So I have started bleeding today. Not sure whether to still go for the op tomorrow but then don't want it to drag out. @moomin11, so glad it is finally over for you and you can move forward

That's good then @Moomin11

moomin11 · 13/06/2019 14:08

You can still go @Cherylinaa rather than lose your appointment, and just tell them when you get there that you've had some bleeding. You can ask for a scan first if you would like one. That's what I did with my previous mc, I was convinced I had passed the sac the day before my planned op but a friend who is also a Dr advised me to still go just in case there was still any retained products (horrible term sorry). The scan showed there wasn't anything left so I was sent home but it was reassuring to know that either day that side of it would be over that way. I just needed an fixed end point I guess.

I’m so sorry @Sparklyshoes16 hope u have a smooth recovery
Thanks @moomin11 for asking I have had a emotional rollercoaster these past couple weeks. Sorry Ladies I’m might ramble on I went down the natural route it was bleeding on and off no cramping no pain until Tuesday 18 June started feeling ever so tired sleepy u can’t imagine I would sleep any where and everywhere to the point I could open my eyes and had a banging headache but still I carried on then Wednesday 19 June I woke up with really bad matalic taste in my mouth and throat swollen during the day started shivering had a high temp. I went to a&e on that night they gave me antibiotics was sent home as I was scheduled a scan on Thursday I spent the night vomiting, temperature aches and pains everywhere. I can’t even explain how I got through the night it felt the longest time ever. In the morning I went for a scan and just before I went to the toilet and felt a gush I knew...... I told the and she said we still need to check to make sure in the scan it showed that everything had come out just a cm fibroid left. But since then I’m sure that’s come out too as I have had loads of clots. Long story short I think I should have gone with the tablet before as u don’t really know how long the pregnancy has stopped before coming out it can get infectious because it took me about 2 + weeks since half of my pregnancy came out properly it was out of my uterus and stuck in the pipe I was luckily it came out but it was there for about 2 days and words can’t explain how my health took a turn for the worse. But all I well now I’m resting emotionally and physically hope u all ladies well and stay strong

moomin11 · 24/06/2019 14:21

What a traumatic experience @Mummytobe34 I hope you're doing as ok as you can be Flowers

Mummytobe34 · 15/07/2019 21:09

Please can anyone shed light on:
Is excessive bleeding normal after miscarriage I I’m at present going to toilet for a wee and I’m getting clotting jelly like bright red and a lot of blood it all goes red ??? I’m so confused I was thinking it’s fine before everything is coming out 🤗 as I don’t have periods regular but this is far to much 🥴

Eliza9919 · 16/07/2019 10:28

@Mummytobe34 is this your first period after the mc?

I've just had mine and it's been very light, mostly only there on the tissue when I wipe and very little on the pads. It started last Tuesday - and was very dark, like old blood, then turned bright red, then pinky brown - and has only been a little more than that on one day, and seems to be stopping now, but obv, I don't know how long it will go on for or if it will get heavier.

Cherylinaa · 16/07/2019 12:44

Hi. I have just started my first period too and mine is quite heavy. Pretty much like a normal period for me. I would speak to a doctor if you are concerned.

OP posts:
Eliza9919 · 16/07/2019 13:45

Maybe all the tissue hasn't come out. Have you had a negative test?

Cherylinaa · 26/09/2019 09:55

Hi ladies. Just wondering if there is any updates? I am now pregnant again and really worried the same thing is going to happen. Going to book an early scan again I think x
