Hiya. I was wondering if someone can give me some help. I had my lmp on 26th march and got my bfp on 28th April. Was anxious as soon as I found out as didn't have may pregnancy symptoms like I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. Anyway went for an early scan at what I thought was 7.5 weeks but scan showed me at 5.5 with only a sac, yolk and a possible fetal pole. She couldn't confirm. Anyway now I'm stressing out as have to wait 2 weeks to find out if this is a viable pregnancy 😥

@Cherylinaa three months, that must have been awful. I hope you manage to get booked in for it ok. It is hard when people around you are pregnant, I don't have that at the moment but have with previous losses. I was happy for them but you do think when will it be me.

Cherylinaa · 03/06/2019 08:55

Yeah I know. I think myself luck cause I have had a successful pregnancy. And my little girl is amazing but really wasn't expecting to go through a miscarriage again..I don't want to give up trying but it's one of the worst experiences to go through. I am sorry you have experienced it a before. Hopefully we will get a positive outcome next time 🤞🤞

Same here, and actually with each loss I realise more and more how lucky I was to be able to have my daughter at all! This was my 6th pregnancy in 6 years and the losses are definitely taking their toll. I am very grateful for what I have, it would have just been lovely to be able to give her a sibling. Yes we can but hope!!

mindutopia · 03/06/2019 09:27

Op, I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing this. I just wanted to say that my experience was very similar. I had a scan at 7 weeks that measured only 5 weeks with no sign of heartbeat. My symptoms were also very different from my first (healthy) pregnancy. It was a missed miscarriage and though I waited for another 5 weeks for a natural mc (it didn't happen), I did end up going in for surgical management and it was the best possible option. As you know, it's hard under any circumstances, but at least I feel like it was the choice that was easiest on my body and I recovered well. I also got pregnant with my son the very next month, so hope all turns out as positively for you as well. Flowers

We went to the hospital this morning, they did one more scan, and the sac has started to shrink and change shape. No more growth so it's all confirmed for definite now. They are going to call me back later with a date to go in for the surgical management but that will probably be over a week until I can go in. There was a little bit of pink on the tissue after I wiped after the scan so things may be starting to happen on their own.

moomin11 · 03/06/2019 23:21

Take care Eliza it really is rubbish x

Eliza9919 · 04/06/2019 15:03

Thanks I hope everyone else is doing ok. They have booked me in for tomorrow but it started by itself yesterday afternoon. The pain has been unreal, I wasn't prepared for it to be like it has. I've got some codeine based painkillers and am alternating with naproxen and I had a hot water bottle earlier which helped, its ok at the moment now with all that.

Flowers to everyone going through this - or has previously :(

moomin11 · 04/06/2019 20:20

I hope the pain doesn't last long. Are you still going to go in tomorrow? I did the last time I miscarried even though I thought I had passed the pregnancy as I didn't want to lose my appointment if it hadn't all gone. They scanned me first thing to check. I've been bleeding now since Thursday, sometimes it eases off only to start heavily again. Feel quite low and drained today.

Eliza9919 · 04/06/2019 22:38

Yes I'm still going tomorrow, I don't think it's finished and all out. It was much better this afternoon and the bleeding eased off, but it's starting to get crampy again now. I also don't want to be going on like this for 2-3 weeks so def still having it done.

Are you going down the natural route this time then?

moomin11 · 04/06/2019 23:22

Yeah it definitely helps to have an end point so you can start to heal rather than it dragging on which is so difficult. Yes unfortuantely I have no other choice, at my last scan there had been progress but nowhere near enough however both fetal poles were below the threshold where they can absolutely confirm and so couldn't give me the op. My bleeding increased straight after the scan. In December I booked in for the op but passed the pregnancy at home the day before. I would definitely have the op this time if I could. I hope tomorrow goes as ok as it can for you x

moomin11 · 04/06/2019 23:25

Did you manage to get an appointment with your epu @Cherylinaa? Hope you're doing ok.

How are you doing @Mummytobe34?

Cherylinaa · 05/06/2019 06:12

I'm sorry that you are all going through this. Yes I did manage to get an appointment but they said they can't go from the private scans so can't book me in for surgical removal yet. Have to go back next week for a further scan. And even more depressing is they said I can't fly as I won't be insured if I go on holiday meaning I'm going to miss my holiday. I am so shocked and depressed and just hoping I start to bleed soon so I can at least go on my holiday 😔😔

I'm so sorry @Cherrylinaa

I didn't need to go in for the d&c. The complete sac came out by itself this morning when I got up.

moomin11 · 05/06/2019 18:41

Sorry to hear that Cherylinaa, just when it would probably do you good to get away too. Will you at least be able to get some money back for your holiday through your insurance, and go when this is all over?

How are you feeling Eliza? It's horrible to go through that at home but I hope you start to feel better very soon.

Eliza9919 · 05/06/2019 18:49

@Moomin11 I'm ok, bit tired. Think I'm still in shock really. The pain has pretty much gone, except for the odd cramp.

How's everyone else doing?

Mummytobe34 · 06/06/2019 12:39

Morning ladies just to let you know I miscarryed

Eliza9919 · 06/06/2019 13:27

@Mummytobe34 I'm so sorry Flowers

moomin11 · 06/06/2019 18:15

So sorry Mummytobe34 Flowers hope you're doing as ok as you can be.

My bleeding has pretty much stopped today but I'm getting such bad headaches every day. Maybe it's the hormones coming down?

Mummytobe34 · 07/06/2019 08:50

Thank you ladies. I’m not sure how to put it that my half had passed through just the placenta or something left so my feelings were right on the weekend That i miscarried. I started to bleeding for a bit after scan but it’s all slowed down they have given me a week to see if it all passes out naturally if not I book in. I have had no pain or cramps atm.

moomin11 · 10/06/2019 11:58

How is everyone doing? I've got a scan on Thursday and op booked Friday but I'm hoping I won't need it. Went out yesterday for the first time in about a week which felt good but stuck in today on a rainy day is not helping my mood.

Eliza9919 · 10/06/2019 12:35

I'm back at work today. Really not feeling it to be honest. The bleeding has pretty much stopped.

moomin11 · 10/06/2019 16:35

Can you take a bit more time off if you need it?

Eliza9919 · 10/06/2019 17:04

I think I'm going to work from home tomorrow and wednesday as my car is on the blink and too dangerous to take on the motorway.

I'm just not feeling work at all, we were putting plans in place for me to give up work for a while and then go back as self employed for myself (rather than contracting) where I set my own hours/clients I took on. I've been counting down.

I'm going to do this anyway I think and concentrate on the gym and yoga and all that to maximise the chances of getting pg again.

moomin11 · 10/06/2019 17:28

That sounds like a good plan. I've been off for almost 2 weeks now and will probably be off for 3 altogether. I don't feel remotely bad about it. My last loss hit me really hard and I ended up on anti depressants. I'm trying to take care of myself better this time! It does of course depend on your individual situation though and what works for you.

Sparklyshoes16 · 10/06/2019 20:09

Hi today I found out that I'd miscarried I'm so confused I kinds of knew but just didn't want it to be true. I'm booked in tomorrow morning for the tablet option has anyone else been through this?

Sorry to all who are going through a horrible time too.
