Early scan measuring 2 weeks early

Hiya. I was wondering if someone can give me some help. I had my lmp on 26th march and got my bfp on 28th April. Was anxious as soon as I found out as didn't have may pregnancy symptoms like I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. Anyway went for an early scan at what I thought was 7.5 weeks but scan showed me at 5.5 with only a sac, yolk and a possible fetal pole. She couldn't confirm. Anyway now I'm stressing out as have to wait 2 weeks to find out if this is a viable pregnancy 😥

Hi I’m about 5 weeks I had a scan today as I was spotting brownish blood for the past week and yesterday I had fresh blood when I wiped myself. They could find an heart beat as it’s too small yet and I’ve been told to wait it out until next week. I’m just so scared as I’m not cramping just aching i feel sick sometimes but sometimes I don’t feel anything im so confused it’s not my first pregnancy but this is the first time I have been spotting and feeling this way....

Sorry you're going through that Mummytobe34 the waiting is awful. Hope the time passes quickly for you and you can find out what's going on.

@mummytobe34 sorry to hear this. It is a stressful and worrying time. How far along did you think you are? If you are only 5 weeks then I think it can be normal to have a small bleed. When is your next scan?

I'm just under 6 weeks she said and I go back on 6/6/19 for another transvaginal scan I thought the blood stopped but I had some more lightpinkish this afternoon I feel so heavy but no aches/cramps nothing just a little nausea feeling

Theres been no further growth since last week. I have to go for a confirmation scan on Monday and then they want to do medical management. I assume that's the tablets.

@eliza9919, sorry to hear this. Hope your ok. I have my scan tomorrow and am so worried but at least I can get things confirmed either way.

So sorry Eliza9919. Are you ok with trying medical management? I've opted for surgical twice but it's passed on its own beforehand. Make sure you are comfortable with what they are proposing (as much as you can be with any of this)

I do t know @moomin11 I need to look at all the leaflets and see what it all is.

On another thread someone said they went the surgical route so it was all over quicker. I did say I didn't want a d&c (I'm assuming that's the surgical route) this morning but I think I'm changing my mind if it means it won't be dragged out. I don't want to sit waiting for it. I assume you still bleed for a while after a d&c? I don't want to read all the leaflets atm, I'll look at them tomorrow.

I don't know what you call it I thinks it's the surgical route with that it's all over in abt 3-4 hours and ur home back to normal it's just faster then naturally leaving it I think things kind of drag on without some sort of help.

That's understandable Eliza9919 it's a horrible shock and I'm glad you have a little time before you go back and have to make any decisions. It's a very personal choice I think. My miscarriages dragged out for a long time and I found that hard. Take care of yourself

Morning needed some advice please I had a blood-free /ache free day yesterday and I sort of thought maybe everything has settled.... even started feeling fluttering in my tummy ( don't know if it was my mind playing games but it felt real) .
But went to the loo this morning i had brownish blood when I wiped myself I honestly am not keeping my hopes high with this pregnancy it might feel wrong but I'm sorry I just want it over either way. 😢 I have four more days till scan....
I have a pad on In case the bleeding gets heavier as I have slight spotting.
I keep my mind of it all by keeping busy but dread going to the loo. I got comfortable yesterday as there was no blood so I was relaxed but this morning back to square one. I don't know what to do wen I ring EPU they say wait it out until bleeding gets heavier or till your scan..... am I having a miscarriage? Could anyone shed some light on it please!!

Sorry you're having some bleeding again Mummytobe34. So far do your dates match up with the scans? Have you had any blood tests? Lots of people have spotting in early pregnancy and are fine, but it can also be a sign of miscarriage, there's no way of knowing without a scan/blood test x

Hey ladies. So unfortunately I do not have good news either. Will have to go to the epu next week to make a decision what to do but will probs opt for surgical removal. 😥😥

I have had a transvaginal scan it showed just under 6 weeks had no heartbeat they have measured up and have been told to go back on Thursday for another scan if no growth/heartbeat then they will discuss next steps but I have no cramping or pain

I just passed a finger tip sized clot in my urine (sorry for tmi) was that my baby ? I am not bleeding but still feel sick is it normal I rang epu she said we don't know wait until scan I don't know what is happening now I'm so confused and stressed 😥

When is your scan?

Hope you are doing ok Eliza and Cherylinaa. My bleeding seems to be slowing down now but I don't know if I've passed the pregnancy or not, could have been a couple of clots instead I couldn't tell. Have ordered some cheap strip tests so I can see when I get a negative test. Feel sad today. Would have been due next month with my previous pregnancy which isn't helping. Thinking of you both

@moomin11. Yes it's awful isn't it. I haven't started bleeding yet but going to try and get an appt at the epu tomorrow and try and get booked in for surgical removal. With my last miscarriage I had so much blood and clotting and it didn't fully go so had to have surgical management 3 months later as I was still getting positive test 😔. Just want it to be over now. I know how u feel especially because everyone around me is pregnant 😔
