Anyone else? I'm exhausted all the time, fed up with being sore, and I'm beyond huge! The light at the end of the tunnel is that my scan tomorrow will help decide if I get induced or not.
Anyone else suffering out there and fancy company?
Also, this is dc2 so I know things are going to be really tough when baby comes too but I'm so over being pregnant now!

Yup! Same boat, baby no.2, fed up of being pregnant and just want this DC to arrive. It’s utterly exhausting chasing after a toddler whilst being massive, my DH’s job means he’s not home till late, plus lack of sleep has me on my knees. Have been having on and off Braxton Hicks and period pain cramps but nothing is happening.

RChick · 01/05/2019 18:28

I'm only 35 weeks (measuring 38 weeks!) but can I join in!? I have a 12 month old who's just learnt to climb and thinks he's superman apparently. I keep diving after him and pulling everything.

Cookit · 01/05/2019 19:23

Same gestation. So so so done. My first was born by this point already.
End of last week/ weekend I thought it was happened as getting regular period pains, seemed to be ramping up. Nothing now for 3 days.

KateTTC123 · 01/05/2019 19:45

Yes totally! My first was born at 29 weeks so I've never been anywhere near this pregnant before! It's exhausting!!
Period cramps and Braxton Hicks galore but it's not come to anything yet...

I'm 37 weeks and completely feel you. I wouldn't mind so much if I could at least sleep properly but my hips are killing me. I said to my husband that the only thing I am enjoying at the moment is chocolate haha everything else sucks!

KateTTC123 · 01/05/2019 20:36

@cja06 totally understand about the hips! My doctor said that it's because the baby is engaged though so that's hopeful at least!
Because of what happened last time I've been on high alert to go anytime since 24 weeks so it feels like it's been a LONG weight! Not that I'm complaining! I'm really glad she's still on the inside; just hopefully not for much longer!

Wow you must just feel like this pregnancy has gone on forever being 9 weeks longer than the last.
I’m over where I was last time plus I had a few back to back MCs last year so I feel like I’ve been pregnant for a year.

If one more person says to me that the baby will come when the baby is ready I will scream. I know I’m still relatively early at 38 weeks but I’m ready now.. and I know I don’t get a say but I really wish I did!

All I’m doing is making sure I’m getting my FitBit goal of about 12k+ steps a day. Can’t NOT help right?!

Baloonphobia · 02/05/2019 09:31

Same boat here. DC2 also. Plug gone, sooo over this. Need to send dd1 to grandparents 2 hrs away as we've no-one to mind her if I go into labour and if DH is at work an hour away I'm in real trouble with what to do with her.

Baloonphobia · 02/05/2019 09:42

I was wondering if second baby will come earlier than the first but a quick scan of this thread seems to suggest otherwise? What's the general thinking?

CheesePuffTheMagicDragon · 02/05/2019 09:50

Can I join? I'm 38 weeks too and I've been having contractions since Saturday but still no baby Confused

Cookit · 02/05/2019 09:59

Baloonphobia Good that plug has gone. I don’t know about mine, I think it’s been going in bits and pieces over the last week but don’t know for sure.
The annoying thing is I feel way less uncomfortable than I have done for months! Maybe some kind of calm before the storm? - or wishful thinking on my part. But it feels like I’m going backwards.

pipanchew2 · 02/05/2019 10:02

Feel your pain: am 39weeks with DC2. With number one I was all zen ‘baby will come when baby is ready’. This one I’m chugging back raspberry leaf tea, pacing the house and contemplating spicy curry for diner despite the heart burn.

Dvg · 02/05/2019 11:02

33 weeks and already over it, she non stop moves kicks and punches ( i honestly feel that she doesn't sleep) . Can hardly eat, bad SPD pain in the night, got a 9 month old constantly wanting attention and i'm constantly in a nesting mood without the energy to hardly do it/house always becoming a mess straight after.

Baloonphobia · 02/05/2019 13:15

Cookit as bad as being uncomfortable is, at least you feel like you're getting somewhere. When you feel fine it's annoying! My spd is totally gone now that I'm off work and I was on crutches for months. Keep meeting colleagues in the local shop etc and I know they all think I was faking it!

Cookit · 02/05/2019 13:26

Ha yes! I’ve stopped going into work now too. By the end of every work day I was doubled over my birthing ball doing my breathing and I so thought I was going to have the baby at any point. Now I’m at home, trying to stay busy and keep moving but I don’t really feel nearly as pregnant anymore, I think if anyone saw me they’d be so confused. I feel really quite well!

However, just had a random low down intense pain that lasted about 30 seconds. I got very excited and I think I scared it off Grin

Baloonphobia · 02/05/2019 15:12

I know. Every twinge and I'm like 'this could be it!' Stopped ringing DH about them now Blush after many false panics.

KateTTC123 · 02/05/2019 15:42

@cookit well done with those steps!! I'm very stationary at the moment as it's so hard to walk!!
Had a scan just there and baby's growth has picked back up so no induction for me! Obviously it's great news that she's healthy but I'm so over pregnancy now!!

KateTTC123 · 02/05/2019 15:44

This might be a bit tmi but how do you tell if your plug is coming away in bits or if it's discharge? I really hope it's my plug but might well not be.

I was 38 weeks yesterday and this pregnancy is kicking my ass! My daughter was 2 a month ago and obviously is a handful at the minute. I'm carrying a baby measuring a lot bigger than she measured and very low so my back and hips really hurt. Had none of this last time despite going to 42 weeks. Luckily I'm in for induction a couple of days before the due date due to the size of the baby, unless I can shift him/her myself.
So, yes, I know how you feel op!

KateTTC123 · 02/05/2019 16:12

@elmo230885 my DS just turned 2 as well so I feel your pain! When he was born he was just over 3lbs so I do worry what it will be like to have a bigger baby this time! Although she's measuring bang on the 50th centile so hopefully not too big!! Fingers crossed you get your induction

KarineAimee · 02/05/2019 16:14

@KateTTC123 From memory of last time (2 and 1/2 years ago) the plug was much thicker than normal discharge and had some blood swirled in it a bit like a marble. It was obviously different to normal discharge.

I’m 37+2 and feel very ready for DD2 to make her appearance. I want to get back to moving around and not having to tell DD1 that I’m too tired to do things all the time (although I’m sure the first few weeks of being a mum of two are going to be crazy!!!)
No signs of anything here although Midwife says baby is engaged. My sympathies to all PP. We’re so nearly there!!

Elmo230885 · 02/05/2019 16:35

Thanks. DD was 7lb11, the estimates are this one is about 9lb already! Good luck for the last few weeks, get your feet up ( if you can!)

RCC18 · 02/05/2019 16:42

39 weeks and SO over it. I want my body back and to be able to walk up the stairs without getting out of breath! 2nd for me too, 1st is 2.5 and exhausting me.

I'm planning for an overdue induction, doesn't sound like this baby is in any hurry!

Baloonphobia · 02/05/2019 16:50

TMI but the plug was like a large bit of snot. More solid than discharge and a large stringy amount all at once.

vitadolce2015 · 02/05/2019 19:23

Hi everyone ! Im 39 weeks with DC 1 and I'm so over it!!! I was having some cramping and period like lower back pain but seems to have bloody vanished now grrrr. I feel like I'm going backwards as well. Really hoping LO appears before due date, the idea of going over is so daunting. Glad to have people to moan with!!!
