Anyone else? I'm exhausted all the time, fed up with being sore, and I'm beyond huge! The light at the end of the tunnel is that my scan tomorrow will help decide if I get induced or not.
Anyone else suffering out there and fancy company?
Also, this is dc2 so I know things are going to be really tough when baby comes too but I'm so over being pregnant now!

Congratulations @babbit87 !
Hope you’re enjoying all of the new born snuggles! Glad it all went smoothly.
Was it the balloon propess induction that you had? Interested to hear any experiences you can share on how the process was when you have a minute as I’m booked in to have this when I reach 41 weeks (VBAC).

@Furble

Hi I believe it was.... warning readers TMI! it was like a tiny tampon inside a long knitted casing which they put up by your cervix, bit uncomfortable but not painful to have put in - no worse than when they check if you’re dilated. They like you to lie down for an hour or so after so it stays in place - we then walked around the hospital on and off for about 5 hours before i started to get contractions. I’d say my timeline was 1pm-6pm Propess inserted and walking trying to get contractions going, 6-9pm mild contractions, 9-11pm - intense contractions, 11pm 3cm dilated, moved to delivery suite, waters broke as sat on bed, instantly fully dilated, delivered at 11:45pm! It was intense and quick but it is different for everyone - this is my second baby and my first was also quite nippy at 6 hours from established labour and a spontaneous vaginal delivery which could explain why baby no2 shot out like a rocket!! Good luck hope it all goes well xx

@babbit87

Thank you so much for this it’s very reassuring, a bit of knowledge about what your going into really helps you to feel less afraid!

I’m attempting a VBAC, I got to 6cm with my first and then he turned back to back and I went back down to 4cm (!) and he eventually was born via EMCS. I’m hoping the fact my body has laboured before will help, but who knows it’s all a bit of just waiting to see what your body and your baby do on the day.

I’m so glad your delivery was smooth. Hope you’re enjoying all of the lovely cuddles with your tiny new baby and big bro/sis is adjusting well to the new arrival too!

Congrats to all who have had their babies! Hope you're all okay Smile

I'm nearly 40 weeks, growth scan tomorrow as that was the earliest appointment I could be offered.

Really hope I don't go over as I'd already had my first by this stage. Eeeekkkk!!!
