I'm trying to think and feel positive and decided to see how I go today and then seeing as I have my midwife appointment on Friday to mention it to the midwife at the session? I'm hoping it was a random one off thing.

About DH hiding your thermometer, I think that's a very good idea!

Thank you both for your posts on forgetting the folic acid and vitamin D! You reminded me and I took mine the moment I read your posts. My Vitamin D is also a separate tablet.

Oh no, that's a shame they delayed you until tomorrow @Yeoooooooo. It's a shame you have to pay for a private one, but I'm sure the peace of mind is worth every penny. Please keep us posted. xx

Thanks all. The private scan tonight was perfect. Baby all good and has grown since Sunday. Heartbeat is perfect too and everything looks good. I know I’m mad for paying for two scans in four days but you can’t put a price on peace of mind!

I’m finally coming out the other side of my cough so that’s positive but I bit the billet and went back to slimming world tonight because I’ve been comfort eating after my spotting at the start ... gained more weoghy than I’d like but at least now I can get back on being healthy

That's so sad to hear @Prequelle. I feel for you. It must be hard having your hands tied ad suppressing your own hormones and emotions.

@cakeordeath89 - I'm the same with tea!
The NHS site says each mug of tea is equivalent to 75mg of caffeine and we're allowed 200mg per day in total. Still, I prefer to be on the safe side and have limited myself to just one caffeinated tea in the morning and the other times I drink decaf tea.

Don't be too harsh on yourself lovely. I remember reading on the pregnancy plus app that " now is not the time to diet. " lol. So go easy on yourself- I'm sure you get a good work out running around your little 9 monther.

@TrashKitten10 some times it feels like your throat is closing up against it but much better to eat! I've found nausea reduces if I keep a little something down at all times, im not bad today Thankyou just tired! Oh and I cut the end of my thumb on a knife last night cutting spuds, so can that count as baby brain? 🙄😂. How're you?

Hi! Could I please join? I'm 6w3d with my first, due on 11th November (the week before my graduation!!) my nausea and vomitting has hit me HARD today, starting at 4.30am and still hasn't let up! Hoping this is just a one off bad day...

Has anyone found an increase in how fast their body hair is growing? Not so sure about the hair on my head (where id like it!) but everywhere else is coming through thick and fast I am shaving every couple of days! Which being fair and blonde I am not used too!

Oh my God @thumper59, YES!! I think @MintyPea5 also said the same a few days ago, and I hadn't had a chance to reply about that but felt a sigh of relief that I must be "normal" after-all though, lol.
It's insane, isn't it? I have no idea why it's growing so fast and so dark!

@MintyPea5 that is SO true and so funny and truly how it is- the only confirmation and proof we have is a stick we've peed on.
It's insane, and I truly thought and believed that the moment you go to your GP and tell them, they do a blood test! Of course after BFP and reading up online, I was shocked to find that wasn't the case. It's hard to believe and even harder as a first timer because you want more "proof". :P

Is anyone else getting really really grossed out by things?
Like for example, there were a few slices of bread from a loaf left on the kitchen side and in the morning, as I was doing other things in the kitchen, I noticed some mould on the crust! The sight of it made me nearly vomit. I felt so so sick. Normally, I'd just do away with the bread and that's the end of it.

Another instance: DH came back from the shops with chicken breast and a jar of pickle, I nearly died when I saw that the shop had packed them BOTH in the same bag!
I mean yes the breasts were in individual bags, but the jar was in the same outer bag as the breasts were in- needless to say, the chicken smelt SO strong, and my stomach turned. First thing I did was get the jar out, I took one sniff and could smell the " stench" of chicken on it and had to keep telling myself "mind over matter" so I don't get sick! I quickly grabbed an antibac wipe and wiped the jar down thoroughly.

@Littleseed it's crazy! Literally every other day I see my under arm and I'm like what!! Not again 😂 hopefully my hair will grow on my head super fast and thick too!
