Congratulations @Chanel05 Flowers

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 22:11

@Chanel05 welcome ☺️

MrBobLoblaw · 17/03/2019 22:12

Wow.. nausea kicked in this evening. No sickness but felt rank. I'm 7 weeks 1 day today and I really hope I don't get much more nausea because if I have it whilst having to look after DS by myself then it'll be awful!

Hoping to hear from the hospital soon RE the booking in appt. has anyone received anything yet about theirs?

whohaa · 17/03/2019 22:31

@bumblingalonghappily I found out today. I'm really surprised as I didn't think I'd ovulated and I've had no symptoms so far.

Congrats to everyone!

nicolettebell08 · 18/03/2019 00:02

Congrats and welcome @nicolettebell08 and @Chanel05

@Yeoooooooo I bet that was amazing, how fantastic to see the heartbeat :)

@Mintypea5 That's true, hopefully we can get it all over and done with now.

Nowthenforever2019 · 18/03/2019 07:23

Got my bfp this morning! Should be due 15th Nov if all goes well.

Baby #2, 32 years old. My baby is 9 m/o and looks like I'll be returning to work preggo, eek!

Mintypea5 · 18/03/2019 07:29

Welcome @Nowthenforever2019 and @nicolettebell08. Congratulations!

@Nowthenforever2019 I have a almost 9 monther (next week) and am just about to come off maternity in 2 weeks so also heading back pregnant! I’m 6 weeks today so hopefully 8 in return ...

FirstTimeMama91 · 18/03/2019 08:02

For early scans, do you have to go private or is it done at hospital? I've sent my form for midwife referral last week but haven't heard anything back yet. I'm 4 weeks + 4 days today. Think I'd like a scan at 8 weeks 😍👶🏻

Nowthenforever2019 · 18/03/2019 08:05

You'll have to go private for a scan at 8 weeks, they won't do it on the NHS without good reason. I had one due to severe bleeding at 9 weeks with my previous pregnancy x congrats!

Mintypea5 · 18/03/2019 08:06

@FirstTimeMama91 in my area hospitals (the epu) will only scan you before 12 weeks of you have bleeding / pain or If you have a history of miscarriage (in my area you have to have had 3 or more to qualify). Otherwise you have to go private. There are quite a few places that do them I think like baby bond and window to the womb. I’m not sure on price range but I think they can be a little expensive but sometimes groupon will have some deals on

nicolettebell08 · 18/03/2019 08:12

Thank you @Miller2 . I am looking for a group of mums as well due in November. Age: 40 Baby#1 Due: November 17, 2019 So happy I found this group. Smile

FirstTimeMama91 · 18/03/2019 08:15

@Mintypea5 @Nowthenforever2019 ok thanks ladies! Thanks

Smiffette · 18/03/2019 08:16

nausea has really set in now... I've noticed the last last few days I feel really icky until about midday, then it settles after lunch. I feel it's worst on the days I am in work.. I'm sure the 1 hour commute doesn't help!

Does anyone else have a long commute to work? I'm starting to worry about how I'll cope nearer the due date.... I'm only 7 weeks today Smile

Miller2 · 18/03/2019 08:16

@Nicolettebell08 I didn't start the original thread, we used up the post limit, I just started the continuation thread 😂 (wonder how long it will be before this one fills up). Glad you found us though! Welcome.

Smifette - yes, I travelled 2 hrs to work with my first pregnancy. It wasn't too bad, although when I was about 8 months, I worked from home 2 days a week which helped. Though long, I didn't have the tube to contend with and always got a seat on my overground train so that helped! People were good at offering me a seat when i wore my baby on board badge when travelling home from central London too.

thumper59 · 18/03/2019 08:40

How is everyone feeling? I'm 7 weeks today and feeling fairly good really. I get a bit of nausea in a morning usually lasts until around 10am. Then around 2 then at about 10 in the evening. Other then that I have a bit of tiredness, some pulling in my stomach and my boobs are still a bit sore but I'm feeling much better day to day ( well have done this weekend!) I'm getting full so quick when I eat I can't even manage a full meal! So far it's all definitely manageable though

PrayingandHoping · 18/03/2019 08:48

@thumper59 getting nausea but I think it's more heartburn/reflux. Had to get up early hours for wee and then couldn't get back to sleep felt so queasy. After a while got a drink and propped myself up with pillows and felt loads better.

Comes and goes all day too. I have cut up fruit in fridge and finding having few pieces usually resolves it for a while.

Nowthenforever2019 · 18/03/2019 08:50

I'm a bit confused by dates! I calculated I'm 4 weeks, due 15th November. How does it work that people are due in November like me but 3 weeks ahead of me? Just curious! 😊

PrayingandHoping · 18/03/2019 08:55

@Nowthenforever2019 I'm 6+4 and due the 7th November. Mines an ivf baby so the clinic told me on day of egg collection that counts as 2 weeks. So I put date of egg collection in the calculator which came back back with 7 nov (and then I worked it out manually to check lol)

tigsyboo · 18/03/2019 08:55

@Nowthenforever2019
You go by your first day of your last period
www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/due-date-calculator/
If you are due 15th Nov then your lmp would have been around 8/2/19 and you would be 4wks 6 days pregnant x

Mintypea5 · 18/03/2019 09:15

Just called to get my booking in appointments. 18th April so I’ll be roughly 10 weeks! I’ll gave an earlyvscan due to miscarriages at 8 weeks so hopefully we’ll be all reassured by booking in

Nowthenforever2019 · 18/03/2019 09:22

I know the thing about LMP. Mine was 17th Feb, so on the NHS calculator is says 4 weeks preggo, due 15th Nov. Just wondering how someone could be 3 weeks ahead of me but due in the same month. Imagine it's to do with cycle length? Not doubting, just can't get my head around it. Doesn't take much to confuse me

Mintypea5 · 18/03/2019 09:26

My LMP seas 4th March (28 day cycle) so due 11th November and I’m 6 weeks exactly today but if my period was ending of jan (on a 28 week cycle) is be due the week before so 7 weeks. It does work out although it’s hard to get your head round I guess

Nowthenforever2019 · 18/03/2019 09:29

Does that work, Mintypeas? If your LMP was 4th March, then surely you'd be due in December? Anyway, I'm sure it does work, I'll just wait for my dating scan like a nornal person 🤣😂
