Hey! I'm new to this! Due 12th Nov 19. From beginning of week 5 I felt nauseated and exhausted but the past 2 days I have had no symptoms at all, is this normal? Feeling very worried!

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 00:51

@Aliced19 it can be very normal not to have any bit understandable it makes people feel worried or nervous. Personally I don’t really get any symptoms

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 05:16

Good morning ladies

Yep, I've already had breakfast. Grin Up before the larks today!

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 05:21

Oh no @ChesMum2019! I know exactly what you're saying! It's funny isn't it. I was saying the same too- as much as I'm dreading the sickness etc, I'm hoping for more so I know everything is OK and progressing- as you said to feel better lol.

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 05:22

Hi @Aliced19 and welcome to the club! Smile

bumblingalonghappily · 17/03/2019 06:02

@Littleseed up before the larks indeed! 😊 I just woke up which is a miracle after the past two mornings of 3 to 4am wake ups.

Anyone else booked in for private scans? I'm such a massive worried and am already booked in for a 7 week scan where I'm hoping to see a heart beat, then a 9 week scan just before Easter weekend so that hopefully I can fairly confidently tell my family about it when we're all together at home!

bumblingalonghappily · 17/03/2019 06:05

Also this pregnancy malarkey is exhausting! We went to the cinema at 7 last night and I was asleep in my seat an hour into the film- pretty embarrassing 😳

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 06:08

You're still early @bumblingalonghappily. Smile
Glad you " slept in " a bit better today hehe! Wink
Aww so you're waiting for the 9 week scan before announcing then.
I hope your scans go well!

bumblingalonghappily · 17/03/2019 06:42

@Littleseed yes I think we're decided on 9 weeks! To be honest it's mostly because the first thing my parents will do when we arrive for the Easter weekend is offer me a gin and tonic, and I NEVER normally turn down gin and tonics 😊 How about you?

Prequelle · 17/03/2019 06:49

I've woken up feeling ROTTEN and really don't want to go to work. Roll on 8.30pm

Aph413 · 17/03/2019 07:31

I'm with you there @Prequelle I'm about to start my hour and a half drive and dreading it.
Had takeaway with the in laws last night, couldn't keep it down which was mildly annoying. First episode of sickness, still feeling very very nauseous and I'm hoping I make it into work on time.
We've decided to go for a private scan after 8 weeks, nearest clinic is an hour from home but it'll be worth it for the reassurance I hope.

Aph413 · 17/03/2019 07:44

Also just realised I hadn't actually posted to this thread yet. I'm 28, Baby #1 due 17/11.

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 07:47

Aww that's lovely you'll be going to your parents on the Easter weekend @bumblingalonghappily. Smile
I'm still undecided about when and how to announce! Grin I've been thinking about it so much, but not come to any final decision yet.

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/03/2019 08:00

This waking up early at the weekend isn't ideal lol! Couldn't get back to sleep earlier. Did another CB digital hoping it would have progressed to 2-3 weeks but we're still 1-2 weeks. Don't mind, will try in another few days. This will be my first sober St Patrick's day haha. Don't even care, totally worth it ThanksStarHalo

0lapislazuli · 17/03/2019 08:12

Hi all, I would like to join please. Due 9 November with number 2.

I’m planning to have an early scan soon at seven weeks due to multiple losses, so counting down the days.

Getting a bit nauseous now, which I never had with my previous pregnancies, so hoping it won’t get worse!

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 08:12

We get abscan at 8 weeks for having multiple miscarriages. Last time we used that scan to tell family but this time we’re going to wait until 12+. I think it’s better to wait as sil just had her baby so I want them to stay the centre of attention a bit longer.

I’ve already told my best friends because if it went wrong that’s who I’d want to talk to.

Has anyone planned announcements? Last time we didn’t do anything specially really but this time I got a special baby grown that is significant to DH hobby

Littleseed · 17/03/2019 08:15

I think that's extremely sweet and thoughtful @Mintypea5 thinking of your SIL and wanting her to enjoy the attention. Halo
I have no special idea atm. I would like something special as this is our very first, after more than 9 years trying.

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 08:29

@Littleseed awwww how special. Hormones made reading that bring tears to my eyes. Pinterest has some great ideas for cute announcements Flowers

Feelingsolow12345 · 17/03/2019 08:43

So glad head is feeling better today. Only problem today is I'm getting a heavy feeling right below but no cramps as such. Just feel constipated. Not sure if that's the reason why it feels so heavy

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 08:47

@Feelingsolow12345 early pregancy just likes to put our bodies through everything uncomfortable! Hope you’re feeling better soon

Feelingsolow12345 · 17/03/2019 08:54

Its just worrying me a bit. No bleeding so it's probably me starting to expand haha

Mintypea5 · 17/03/2019 08:59

@Feelingsolow12345 I know what you mean it’s easy to worry. It’s most likely everything just moving around there making space! I haven’t had much of that this time but my youngest is only 8.5 months so o figure my body is still particularly expanded

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/03/2019 09:04

To tell my parents and inlaws, I ordered cards off EBay. The front says 'only the best parents' then there's a heart to scratch and when scratched it says 'get promoted to grandparents'. Inside I put a picture of the BFP lol they loved the cards. And they were only about £3.50 each. Said to them we got them an early birthday present then handed it to them Smile

AcatcalledGary · 17/03/2019 09:04

Hi please may I join? I was on another forum but there wasn’t much activity and a lot of chat about MCs which is making me really anxious. This one seems much livelier and friendly!

bumblingalonghappily · 17/03/2019 09:09

@Littleseed that's amazing! You must be so so thrilled 😊

We picked 7 weeks as a time to go for a scan as (fingers crossed) there should definitely be a heart beat by then - some people can apparently see a heart beat at 6 weeks but I didnt want to risk not seeing one and not know if that's because of it being too soon or because somethings wrong. We're then going for another at 8+6 as I want to make doubly sure everything's still as ok as it can be before I tell my family that weekend- plus I'm a teacher and I know that I'll be worrying at home by myself for the whole of the Easter holidays but this way I'll have scans at both the start and end to hopefully reassure myself.

I've thought of/researched lots of ways of telling my family! Will probably just write it in a card to give to my mum in front of everyone though 😊
