Just did loads of cleaning because we have guests arriving shortly. Wondering how rude it would be to take myself off for a nap while DH, the toddler and they all watch the rugby later?

RedKite89 · 16/03/2019 13:59

@bumblingalonghappily congrats to you too! It’s so nice to have people to talk to at the same stage as you!

I haven’t had any weird food cravings/aversions yet but my weirdest symptom is that a new mole has appeared on my collarbone - it definitely wasn’t there before and has appeared over the last two days. I googled it and apparently new moles or moles getting bigger is totally normal! Who knew...

Mintypea5 · 16/03/2019 13:59

@PyjamasForever not rude at all!

fireworkbaby · 16/03/2019 14:07

Hi I was on the last thread but not around much lately as we were on holiday (back home now). Please could I be added to the new due date list? fireworkbaby, age 31, baby #2. Will hopefully be around more now, lovely to see so many new people have joined! There are a lot of us due in Nov!

I'm feeling pretty rubbish, sickness has started and food aversions like several others. Just had a 2 hour nap which is not like me at all! Means it is sinking in though, definitely feeling pregnant at this stage.

It's been really nice being off work for the past 2 weeks as been able to take it easy but already dreading being back on Monday, trying to hide the sickness and nausea etc. Think will need to at least tell my line manager sooner rather than later.

Feelingsolow12345 · 16/03/2019 14:47

I'm currently At work and want to cry. I have a bad headache (I always have them) but can't take nothing unless paracetamol to help it and they don't work. The stress is horrible and I keep getting cramps so worrying now

Mintypea5 · 16/03/2019 14:56

@Feelingsolow12345 have you tried the cool strips for migraine? Theyvreally help me during pregnancy when I can’t take my tablets

Unsureursula · 16/03/2019 15:16

@PyjamasForever I agree- not rude at all! You have a nap and let them enjoy the cleanliness!
I went out to the local shops for a bit and I think the tiredness, nausea and the bloody wind have wiped me out!!

DillingersMoll · 16/03/2019 15:41

Congrats @RedKite89 ! I'm in wales too, currently watching the match with my 9month old dd . 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

RedKite89 · 16/03/2019 16:20

You too @dillingersmoll! BFPs and a grand slam in the same month, we’re lucky lucky people

Littleseed · 16/03/2019 16:24

It is hard to ignore the mess @Unsureursula - even when you do, it still gets to you, so you can't win!
Thank you Flowers the pain's subsided now.

Littleseed · 16/03/2019 16:28

ladies

How's everyone getting their new bras? Are you guessing your new size or are you getting measured properly, or are you measuring yourself?
Can being bra-less at home have any bad effects? Blush Like stretch marks, droopy boobs or anything?

Also Is anyone else getting clammy hands and feet? Grr!

thumper59 · 16/03/2019 18:50

Just had this on wiping should I worry? Been pretty symptom free today as well. First Odd coloured discharge I've had

BKJ89 · 16/03/2019 19:07

@Miller2 and @Littleseed I feel your pain...quite literally. I've been living in non-underwired crop top type bras from George for the last couple of weeks and today i've been lounging around in my sports bra. Even not wearing a bra is uncomfortable!
I hope you find a solution that works though...such a nightmare! I'm also sleeping in them as well as sleeping without is awful too ha.
Can I add my little Jelly Bean
@BKJ89 due 1/11/19 :)

BKJ89 · 16/03/2019 19:13

@thumper59 would this be the time that you would be due your period? I had this at around 4/5 weeks and the midwife explained that it could just be that. Or remnants from implantation.
Always worth giving your midwife a little call just to be on the safe side, but if you haven't had any pain or more bleeding since, then i'm sure it's nothing to worry about :) xxx

thumper59 · 16/03/2019 19:15

No wouldn't be due yet. I am 7 weeks Monday. I don't have no contact details for the midwife yet 😫 feel fine in every other way though hope it's nothing I hate this stage x

WineWinner · 16/03/2019 19:20

Hi ladies, can I join please? I'm currently 5+4, due on 12th Nov. IVF pregnancy so we have an early scan on 26th and then midwife on 28th it all goes well. Constantly tired, sensitive, heavy, veiny chest and strong sense of smell but no sickness or aversions etc yet!

keepforgettingmyusername · 16/03/2019 19:20

Sorry @thumper59 but it could be something and it could be nothing. Hopefully nothing! I did have a small amount of brown discharge at 8 weeks with DS for some reason and it was all fine but I'd give EPU a ring because every pregnancy is different x

Mintypea5 · 16/03/2019 19:27

@Feelingsolow12345 how are you feeling now?

@thumper59 I had bleed st 6/8/11 weeks all turned out to be nothing but I’d give your local epu a call if they’re open weekends or first thing Monday. They can check you over and hopefully scan you. Could also be something has irritated your cervix (like sex) I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry. If it’s not getting any Worse abd no pain / cramps that’s s good sign.

thumper59 · 16/03/2019 20:08

Thanks guys I'll ring tomorrow if anything else. It was more browny then it looks but lighting wasn't great on the pic. No other pain or cramping and i felt sick this morning as usual so hope it's nothing

Rchy · 16/03/2019 20:13

Littleseed · 16/03/2019 21:01

Aww welcome to you and your jelly bean @BKJ89. Halo Flowers

Yeh, I was thinking George would probably be the best place to get some new bras, but I don't know how to go about choosing the sizing! I have no idea what size I am now! How did you choose yours?

Littleseed · 16/03/2019 21:02

Hopefully it's nothing to worry about @thumper59 but let us know how everything goes and if you decide to call tomorrow. {flowers] xx

ChesMum2019 · 16/03/2019 21:45

So after a few weeks of waves of mild nausea and worrying ( and wishing ) the sickness to start so I felt "better" with symptoms today it hit full throttle ConfusedConfusedConfused I feel horrendous and have not kept any food down this evening
