@Knickersononeshead I'm so sorry, that's horrible :(

@Prequelle - I'm in a similar boat to you. There's no other reason in the world that would stop me drinking! Even if I'm with family and I say it's because I'm on antibiotics I'd have to physically show them the packet!

We're going for a 6 week scan on Sunday. Super early but it's my Dad's birthday next week and we're away for the weekend so there's no way I can hide not drinking, pregnacare, decaf coffee and absolute exhaustion! The plan is to tell our families that weekend if and only if the scan goes well. I wanted to tell my two closest friends as well but one of them has been trying for a while and having some trouble so I might hold off for a bit. As much as I know she'd be happy for me I don't want to upset her which I think it will Confused

Littleseed · 14/03/2019 17:10

I've found it and I'm Installing the app now! Grin

Mintypea5 · 14/03/2019 17:12

@tigsyboo good luck for the scan tomorrow 🤞🏻

@Hayley89 hope the scan goes well on Sunday! I’m sure your families will be really excited

Mintypea5 · 14/03/2019 17:13

@Littleseed you’ll love it! I still have mine from DS but a little scared to reset it for this one just in case

bumblingalonghappily · 14/03/2019 17:13

Ah thank you @Littleseed that's really helpful and reassuring 😊😊

Littleseed · 14/03/2019 17:19

Aww, it looks amazing @Mintypea5. Thank you for telling me about it. Flowers
I know it's a worrying time, but hopefully everything will go lovely.

Littleseed · 14/03/2019 17:19

@bumblingalonghappily you're welcome hun. Flowers

Littleseed · 14/03/2019 17:21

100% agree with you about those two decaf teas @tigsyboo. Speaking of which, I've really got to try and get some tonight!

Try and drink extra water to help relieve the constipation. I used to take senakot before, but have no idea if you can now during pregnancy, so we need to rely on more water and maybe prunes with custard? Grin

I hope your scan goes well. xx

Hayley89 · 14/03/2019 17:29

Thanks @MintyPea5! My Dad made a joke about getting him a grandchild for his 60th so the timing literally couldn't be more perfect! We'll be telling them all not to share with extended family though until we're past the 12 week mark. There's still a long way to go!

Jjohno · 14/03/2019 19:07

So I have a weird pain on the left side, anyone had this?! I’m not sure if it is a bit of bloating/trapped wind situation but I have a scan tomorrow and it’s making me nervous!!!

Prequelle · 14/03/2019 19:09

Jjohno I had a pain on the right side, ended up being an ovarian cyst which are common in pregnancy and mostly to away on their own. Hope everything is okay x

PrayingandHoping · 14/03/2019 19:35

@Jjohno does it feel a bit like a stitch? I was getting that a lot in weeks 3 and 4 but not so much now

Jjohno · 14/03/2019 19:43

@Prequelle okay maybe I’ll mention if tomorrow!!

@PrayingandHoping yes I would say do, I’m 7 weeks this Sunday. Hopefully it’s nothing much!

Marty77 · 14/03/2019 20:25

@Knickersononeshead sorry to hear that I lost my cat a week after my dad died I'd be devastated if we lost Oscar we've had since a kitten x my fiancé hasn't moved in he still works and lives in Liverpool I'm getting really emotional and scared think my hormones are raging as the midwife said x same symptoms as everyone would still like a scan to check can you pay for an early one or only have one at the hospital?

Pamplem00se · 14/03/2019 20:32

In terms of any of you who are having discharge.....
I've had four pregnancies before (three children, 1 MC).... I had brown bleeding with all of them. The only difference with my MC is that lots of bright red bleeding and pain followed. Gushes of it (tmi I know).
I spent all of my children's early pregnancies on edge because of it; I wish I could have enjoyed them more.
So I'd get checked out, but brown blood alone is indicative of very little :)

Feelingsolow12345 · 14/03/2019 20:41

I'm taking the pregnacare max as that's all that they had left when I went in.
I've told my manager due to the drugs i deal with and the nausea I keep getting and I don't do well with the nausea feeling. I've also told my 2 closest friends as I couldn't keep it quiet and I was going out with one of them in a few weeks and I enjoy a good cocktail or gin and lemonade so she would have known something was up.

Somehow I've pulled my back today and paracetamol hasn't touched it.

PrayingandHoping · 14/03/2019 21:00

I'm taking Pregnacare Max and Vit D as that's what our IVF consultant told me to take.

Mintypea5 · 14/03/2019 21:35

@Marty77 you can get early reassurance ones at private scan places. groupon often have deals.

bumblingalonghappily · 15/03/2019 04:50

I'm up again at an ungodly hour!

Today is actually AF due date and feeling a bit worried that AF is going to show up anyway, despite my positive tests and high temp this morning!!

I know sadly know the risks and stats with early miscarriage, but at what stage can I at least feel reassured that it's not a chemical pregnancy? My AF is pretty regular normally.

Feeling worried! Also still no 'pregnant' on clear blue digital (and now I've run out!) FRER tests are getting darker though. About 11/12dpo today.

TrashKitten10 · 15/03/2019 05:06

@bumblingalonghappily I've been up for the last hour too 😂

A chemical pregnancy is a loss that occurs before you get to 5 weeks so once your period is about a week late you have passed that point, so to speak. Not that it helps with the worrying unfortunately.

I wouldn't think too much into the digital test to be honest, they're not very sensitive. The line on the FRER darkening is a really good sign, your hormone levels are obviously increasing just aren't yet high enough to register on the digital. If you're only 11/12dpo just give it a few more days :)

bumblingalonghappily · 15/03/2019 05:09

@TrashKitten10 hello fellow insomniac!! That's really informative, thank you. Might buy some more digital tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!

Mintypea5 · 15/03/2019 06:10

@bumblingalonghappily inalways trust FRER over the CB Digitals. The CB ones arwsntnas sensitive. I understand thenworru tho.

By 8 month old had me up at 2 and once he was back down (pretty quickly) I jusymcousint bloody sleep. Finally fell asleep and now DH alarm has got me off. I just feel awful

Preggosaurus9 · 15/03/2019 06:43

Good morning fellow early risers! I woke up sweating at 2.40am and couldn't get back to sleep until about 4am. Then my 2yo woke me at 5am. Currently sipping a cuppa and regretting taking on an extra day at work today!

Nausea still there but bearable.

Trying to gather the energy to get dressed and made up Brew

PyjamasForever · 15/03/2019 07:04

I was also kept up by my toddler. Pregnancy is definitely harder when you're running around after a little one. My toddler climbed into bed at 1am with no nappy on, so I've only been dozing on and off since then and then we were up properly at 5am!

Hayley89 · 15/03/2019 07:41

Happy Friday everyone! Thanks
Hit like a truck with nausea last night. I was SO hungry yet I felt so damn sick.
Is it a bit soon for aversions/cravings to start? I had Seabass last night and eating it was just awful! I don't think I can stomach it again which is so odd for me, I love fish! I rarely eat meat but honestly all I want now is a rack of ribs, a massive steak and a packet of sausages (on toast for breakfast) Blush

PS apologies if the above offends any veggies/vegans! X
