Hi guys. Just thought I'd make a new thread as the Oct and nov thread seem to have a lot of people who are ahead are behind. So just looking for some buddies to start this amazing journey.

I'm currently 6wk and 3 days. Luckily not has any nausea but eating a lot more and bloated loads! Also not been able to sleep past 3am!which is driving me mad!

Apart from that feeling blessed and on praying can get past 12 weeks soon xxxx

@Baba11 @kgeal3 see this thread - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1244886-Cervical-Erosion

It says erosion (the old name for the condition) but it's got nothing to do with erosion. It's just some cells that travel from inside the cervix to the outside and can bleed.

Maybe worth asking if that's what is causing your bleeds? Might be reassuring to know.

I'm booked 3 months after my due date to get the cells removed at my local colposcopy clinic. They don't do it when you're pregnant.

HJWT · 22/03/2019 12:09

Had a scan this morning and everything is fine measuring 6 days ahead though! DD was the same x

kgeal3 · 22/03/2019 12:22

@HJWT fantastic! How far does that make you. So pleased everything is ok x

Baba11 · 22/03/2019 18:11

Thanks so much for the reassuring comments. I really needed them. I had brown horrible discharge most of the day then dark red bleeding come evening. Haven't had any craps so hoping you guys are all right. I have a scan booked for Sunday. So I'm praying all is ok. I just wish I could stop thinking about it.. think it's because I never had it with my other 2. It's scary

Bb2019 · 23/03/2019 10:44

@Baba11 I'm so sorry to read this. Huge huge hug.

Bb2019 · 23/03/2019 21:26

I thought I'd escaped morning sickness but I started vomiting at unexpected times almost a week ago. Today was a new low... couldn't get out of the bath tub quite fast enough. I'm also so exhausted I need to nap a lot.

It's been a bit stressful as I have a busy job with lots of upcoming deadlines and I'm falling behind.

Hoping it won't be like this for too many weeks... Eeek!

HJWT · 24/03/2019 11:26

@Bb2019 my nausea today is just unbearable ! Having to constantly snack to not feel sick and every time I bend down I almost pass out 🤨 didn't have this with DD!! Hoping for a healthy baby at the end of this because I wont be having anymore its not fair on DD poor thing is bored out of her head! Xx

CaramelCluster · 24/03/2019 13:34

Hey ladies, hope everyone is doing ok in these early stages.

I have a question for those that may have experience with this: I'm currently 10 weeks with mild but constant cramping (had it non stop all day today) has anyone else had this, or previously had this with past pregnancies? Basically feels like period pain but less painful, but what I read it seems to go away (if it's constant it's advised to get checked out) thought I'd ask here as well

Bb2019 · 25/03/2019 09:07

@CaramelCluster I had stabbing pains on one side that woke me up at night and that was due to a cyst apparently according to the sonographer. I've also had the odd bit of mild cramping that I've attributed to my uterus and the whole area changing/growing. I suppose if it's intermittent and you are not bleeding, it's probably nothing? Hope so.

AngeloMysterioso · 25/03/2019 11:01

Morning all! May I join?

My EDD is roughly 23rd Oct, although I’ve had two scans and one said the 27th and another the 24th. Bean keeps having little growth spurts!

I haven’t had any morning sickness really, just some nausea, and my boobs were killing me for a while although that’s eased off too. I am bloated like crazy though, I look like I’m already 5 months gone!

Bhappy12 · 25/03/2019 15:04

Hi everyone.

I think my EDD is 21st October, though i'm not 100% sure as I'm not certain on the date of my LMP. My partner and I had stopped trying after 4 years of trying and then this happened!

So, I think I am 10 weeks today - no bump, no bloating but bouts of sickness and constant exhaustion.

I haven't had any scans yet - has anyone had a private reassurance scan? I'm considering it as I keep dreaming that I'm having twins! Hmm

HJWT · 25/03/2019 19:25

Has anyone had there 'booking in app' yet! Iv got mine tomorrow?!

Ktch · 25/03/2019 20:41

@HJWT I had my booking appointment last week, mine was pretty much just a long list of questions to answer. Took just under an hour, although I've heard they sometimes take a bit longer.
One thing which surprised me was that the midwife was asking where I wanted to have my baby. I hadn't even thought about it yet, but I got the impression I had to more or less decide there and then, because all my antenatal care would have to be booked there. Of course, I might just have got the wrong impression, she might just have been letting me know I have a choice, and don't have to default to the local hospital.

@Bhappy12 I had a private scan just over a week ago. I was panicking because my symptoms seemed to have faded, but the scan showed that everything was as it should be at this stage, including a heartbeat 🙂. I could hardly stay still, I was so happy (which didn't really help the scan of course!) I'm glad I did it - I'm still waiting to hear when my NHS scan will be, so if I hadn't had the scan I know the wait would be driving me mad!

Jeweregm03 · 26/03/2019 07:01

@baba11 thinking of you, hope you take it easy and get some rest. Really so sorry. Try keep yourself occupied and around people who you love. Hope everyone is doing well xxx

HJWT · 28/03/2019 19:39

How is everyone feeling?

SurreyisSunny · 28/03/2019 19:46

Due 27 October. I’ve had 2 scans so far, one private and one at the epu as had some bleeding. Everything ok for now. Had a MMC in Oct so was super worried.

OMG I feel awful though. Symptoms kicked in around 5 weeks. I’m nauseous 24 hours a day (worse in the evening) and so tired I can’t make it much beyond 9pm.

My boss today said her nausea lasted til she gave birth!

kgeal3 · 29/03/2019 10:32

@HJWT hi. I'm still going....still anxious but 10 weeks now and have private scan tomorrow 🤞🏻 still sick but not as bad which is worrying me why it's stopped already (hence the scan tomoz)
How are you doing lovely? X

kgeal3 · 29/03/2019 10:35

@Bhappy12 hi I'm having a private reassurance scan tomorrow. NHS will scan me next week but I just can't wait...I'm so nervous as my sickness seems to have faded a bit too and it didn't this early with my other pregnancies. Did you book one? So scary this pregnancy thing isn't it, I'm an anxious mess atm x

Bhappy12 · 29/03/2019 13:16

@kgeal3 - Hi! I did in the end, yes. It's tomorrow, too. My NHS scan is the week after next and I'm so anxious I just couldn't wait until then.

I think OH probably thinks i'm being irrational, but I have some pre-existing medical conditions that make me even more anxious about being pregnant.

My sickness has stopped a bit, too - It's gone from being basically permanent to being sporadic and on the odd day rather than every day. It's nice to have a break, but like you say, worrying!

Fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow :)
