Hi guys. Just thought I'd make a new thread as the Oct and nov thread seem to have a lot of people who are ahead are behind. So just looking for some buddies to start this amazing journey.

I'm currently 6wk and 3 days. Luckily not has any nausea but eating a lot more and bloated loads! Also not been able to sleep past 3am!which is driving me mad!

Apart from that feeling blessed and on praying can get past 12 weeks soon xxxx

I've been off work too. Either feel good or bad there is no in-between. Try not to stress it can only get better from here! Hope you are okay! :)

8weeksExhausted · 13/03/2019 16:35

Thanks jeweregm, I just feel a bit of a wuss being off work because I'm tired and sick when so many people seem to manage it fine! After a previous miscarriage I'm happy for the symptoms just not so happy for feeling like I should be able to manage work XX hope you're ok

Bluebell9 · 13/03/2019 16:52

I took this afternoon off work as I was so tired today. I differ from day to day too. Hope everyone had a good day tomorrow.

HJWT · 13/03/2019 16:53

Mee 27/28th oct, NHS website says 27th, Midwife today said 28th 🤪🤷🏻‍♀️

BobbingAbout · 13/03/2019 16:54

Hi all, just had my GP appt and due date is 25th October at the moment. Have left a message with the midwife to make an appointment. Feeling so tired and eating so much, could quite happily just eat and sleep all day but this is my third so have 2 others to stop me from slinking off to bed! xx

Jeweregm03 · 13/03/2019 19:42

I bet hun! Don't beat yourself up you need rest so take it now and listen to your body! I was like this last week but everyone would of suffered or know someone who has been in the position of being tired etc and soon you can tell people so they will understand!

Lots of us due 25th how exciting!
Has everyone told people yet or you waiting til the 12 week mark? I'm wanting to wait till 12 weeks but not sure if I would of even have my scan then! Fingers crossed! Xxx

Baba11 · 13/03/2019 20:25

@8weeksExhausted you need to look after yourself especially given your history. If that means taking time of work, it's a sacrifice you have to make

Welcome other new comers

It's exciting to be on this journey with you all

So glad that I'm not the only 1 suffering from insomnia is comforting. I also get extremely bloated especially in the evening. Still waiting on my midwife appointment and I'm going away during Easter I'm betting will come when I'm away but il be gone 12 weeks by then!

Got my scan date! Not till 14th of April! Don't think I can last another 4 weeks not telling my family! Thinking of getting a early one?! Has anyone done this before? Is it just the same process

julie0909 · 14/03/2019 17:04

I had an early scan last night as mine isn’t until 15th April and was too anxious to wait. All went fine, measuring at 8 weeks, saw heartbeat and all as should be. Totally worth it to put mind at ease. I’m still waiting until main scan to tell family though.

8weeksExhausted · 14/03/2019 17:15

I'm having an early scan tomorrow, can't wait :)

kgeal3 · 14/03/2019 18:26

Hi everyone I'm 8 weeks today. Have done the self referral to the midwife and awaiting my booking appointment. How long did you all have to wait before receiving your pregnancy notes and booking appointment? I'm getting very anxious in this pregnancy...all seems to good to be true, I can't help but feel scared. Can't wait to get to 12 weeks so I can relax a bit

Baba11 · 14/03/2019 19:29

Glad to hear scabs went well

Welcome @kgeal3 my midwife appointment came though this morning for 27th March so my scan appointment will be late I will be near enough 10 weeks by then! So may look into an early scan

I think I'm going to have to tell family this weekend when I see them, just feels too strange not being able to tell them what's going on when it feels so major! Think I'd rather they knew anyway even if it goes wrong.

Baba11 · 14/03/2019 20:18

@BobbingAbout I think every day is an achievement and reduces your risk of miscarriage. So the closer we get to 12 weeks the more promising it looks 🤞🏼

Ladies need some advice!

Is it just me or can any of you ladies clearly see the outline of your uterus on your stomach

OP posts:
Baba11 · 14/03/2019 22:11

I can clearly see mine and starts from just under my bra! It's really high up which is worrying me
I read that uterus should be the size of a grapefruit at 8 weeks but mine clearly isn't!

OP posts:
Bluebell9 · 15/03/2019 09:07

Your uterus will still be tucked in your pelvis at the moment.
Can you take a picture of what is worrying you and we can try to help.

Baba11 · 15/03/2019 22:16

Mine isn't under my pelvis it's already high up. My doctor examined me and felt where my uterus was and confirmed it was high.

OP posts:
HJWT · 16/03/2019 07:52

@Baba11 bloating can do that, even if it is hight up it should still be between your belly button and pubic bone, don't worry to much!!

Anyone else having to walk round in the morning holding your boobs up 😂 oh god they are so big and painful! 8 weeks tomorrow 😬

Bluebell9 · 16/03/2019 11:32

@HJWT, I feel your pain!

kdd1980 · 16/03/2019 13:15

@HJWT I have to hold them coming down stairs

Jeweregm03 · 17/03/2019 08:23

@8weeksexhausted how did your scan go? I'm thinking of getting a early one. I've been off work lots last week with exhaustion and nausea. I'm okay if I sit and do nothing but can barely walk up the stairs. How's everyone feeling? Do you think it's worth getting a early scan? It's about £90

Jeweregm03 · 17/03/2019 08:26

We should make a WhatsApp group ladies! To keep in touch x

CaramelCluster · 17/03/2019 08:54

Hey ladies! Mind if I pop in? Due 22nd Oct. @Baba11 I remember you from the TTC pages, glad everything is going ok for you!

I've heard a high uterus is normal, not sure how high but the midwife you see week after next will be able to give you better clarification on that.

I can feel my lower abdomen has hardened, but everything is still behind the bone so guessing that's my intestines being given a 'cosy' ride in there. Constipation is an issue for me, so drinking lots of water.

8weeksExhausted · 17/03/2019 09:01

@jeweregm03 it was great, I paid £75 and think it was definitely worth the money. Having previously had a missed miscarriage it's just really reassuring to see a little heart beat. They had to do it transvaginally because I'd been so sick there was little in my bladder but that was also okay. I'm the same as you, if I'm still and doing nothing I'm okay but after the school run I feel like I've done some endurance training!
