Hi guys. Just thought I'd make a new thread as the Oct and nov thread seem to have a lot of people who are ahead are behind. So just looking for some buddies to start this amazing journey.

I'm currently 6wk and 3 days. Luckily not has any nausea but eating a lot more and bloated loads! Also not been able to sleep past 3am!which is driving me mad!

Apart from that feeling blessed and on praying can get past 12 weeks soon xxxx

That's good! I bet you feel so relieved now! Think I will. Don't think I can wait another 4 weeks! Yeah that's like me it's annoying but then again I'm so happy I haven't had any sickness. Don't deal with being sick very well lol. So fingers crossed I've passed that! X

Baba11 · 17/03/2019 10:06

@CaramelCluster hi hunni. Hope you are well and the pregnancy is going well.
I have my booking appointment next week so will feel better after that.

How have your symptoms been. I'm happy that some of the symptoms have subsided and I feel bit human again.

You got any appointments yet?

Hi all, I had my booking in appointment on Friday which made it all a bit more real. I have my second scan tomorrow when I will be 8+3 they are scanning me every 2 weeks as I have had 5 previous MC's including a MMC. I'm absolutely terrified something will have gone wrong in the last 2 weeks

CaramelCluster · 17/03/2019 11:09

@Baba11 all good so far hun, let me know how it goes at your booking appointment, I got a feeling it's perhaps your organs moving around a bit to make room for the wee one, perhaps that's what your feeling.

My symptoms for the past couple weeks have mainly been nausea (not been physically sick thus far) constipation, lot of wind and bloated. I have a desk job but the nausea hits me worse in the afternoon, I gotta find a good snack!

I've had my booking appointment, and wanted a bit of reassurance for the time being so got an early scan last weekend. All was well, heartbeat present and they also check ovaries etc just to make sure everything is as expected. It's something I'd recommend.

@kdd1980 I'm really sorry to hear about your previous MCs, I've got everything crossed that all is ok. It's good you're getting a scan every couple weeks to give you peace of mind, best thing you can do is take care of yourself in the meantime (easier said than done!) keep us posted on the scans x

Holiday16 · 17/03/2019 11:38

Hey I'm due 26th October - I'm 8 weeks 1 day so haven't had a scan to confirm yet
Congratulations and I look forward to this journey with you xx

Bb2019 · 17/03/2019 12:30

I had an early scan yesterday and all was well. Heartbeat is good and the size is spot on. Revised due date by one day - 28 October.

Still no sign of morning sickness. Tiredness still there but easing a little. Bloating hasn't been great and have to eat a lot more fibre. My breasts looks glorious...

Annoyingly my first NHS scan has been booked way too late at almost week 15 which prevents NT scan. Calling them on Monday to get them to chance it! Grrr...

Bb2019 · 17/03/2019 12:32

@kdd1980 Keeping my fingers crossed for you. It must have been so hard to have gone through this. Thanks

Baba11 · 17/03/2019 14:04

@CaramelCluster hummus and oat biscuits seem to be number 1 snack at the moment. Helps with my intake of fibre too. Had a look into early scan there nearly £100 so just praying all is well.

Welcome @Holiday16 glad everything went well at scan.

So excited to be sharing this journey with you all!

Iv also REALLY gone of chocolate never was a fan until pregnant with DD then loved it ever since now this baby has sent me back to not bothering with it which I guess is a good thing 🤪 x

CaramelCluster · 17/03/2019 15:34

@Baba11 oooo now hummus is a good idea, might have to stock up on some!

@HJWT haha I love the emoji! That's totally my face every time I try and take on housework at the minute. The exhaustion is real! What we go through ey!

kdd1980 · 18/03/2019 12:17

Hi all

I had my scan at 9am and the baby had died in the last 2 weeks since my previous scan. I have my ERPC tomorrow. I wish you all the best with your pregnancies. Sadly, this is number 8 for us and we don't think we have it left in us to try again x

CaramelCluster · 18/03/2019 14:37

@kdd1980 I'm so so sorry to hear this, I can't imagine what you're going through, but sending you lots of love your way to you and your partner Thanks

Baba11 · 18/03/2019 18:02

@kdd1980 I am so sorry hun xxx

Ktch · 21/03/2019 08:26

Hello ladies,
I feel bad joining you after kdd1980's sad news. It's really emphasised how fortunate I'll be if things do go well.
I'm due 27th Oct, had my booking appointment yesterday. Apparently in my area the 12 week scan is between 12 and 14 weeks, so it could be nearly 6 weeks to wait. Feels like ages!

HJWT · 21/03/2019 16:24

Hi everyone how are we all doing??

I had another bleed this morning so booked in for a scan tomorrow just hope the baby is still growing 😔

kgeal3 · 21/03/2019 16:36

@HJWT hope all is well for you tomorrow.
I've had another bleed today too, only a tiny bit that's stopped now but where I love they are so packed I haven't even had by booking in appointment yet so I won't get a scan unless I'm bleeding heavily or reach 12-14 weeks! Have you any other pregnancy symptoms? I'm still feeling so so sick all the time so hoping that's a positive sign. X

HJWT · 21/03/2019 16:47

@kgeal3 really? Im shocked they won't scan you after a bleed at early pregnancy unit! My sickness comes in waves every other day but my nipples are so sore and itchy 🤭 they say that strong symptoms can only ever be a good sign xx

kgeal3 · 21/03/2019 17:31

They said that unless I'm soaking a pad with blood every hour they aren't concerned. Tbh if I pushed it then I would have one but as I'm so sick and still feel pregnant I'm positive everything is ok for now x

Baba11 · 21/03/2019 21:40

I started bleeding today too 😔

It started brown discharge (sorry tmi)

This evening it's red when I wipe (not bright red) and now it's just spotting red. Had really sharp back pains too, like shooting pains. They have gone now trying not to stress about it but can't help it. Very emotional and scared as I never bled with my other pregnancies!

OP posts:
kgeal3 · 21/03/2019 22:21

@Baba11 it's so hard not to panic isn't it. Fingers crossed for you that it's just normal. Try and relax and think positive. (Easier said that done I know) I feel so anxious in this pregnancy, theses little bleeds haven't helped with that. I swear I was more chilled in my other pregnancies than I am in this one.

Baba11 · 22/03/2019 07:24

@kgeal3 ditto

I never had any bleeding in my others. Couldn't stop crying last night especially when it turned red. Now it's gone back to brown so I'm praying all ok. Have you had a lot of bleeds?

OP posts:
kgeal3 · 22/03/2019 07:40

@Baba11 they said to me brown is old blood so not anything to worry about. I've had spotting most the way through so far and never had it with my other 3. It's usually red then fades to brown then nothing quite quickly. Apparently it can just be a sensitive cervix and it's very common. Im 9weeks so along way to go yet 🤞🏻

Bb2019 · 22/03/2019 08:02

I was told I was very likely to get bleeding especially after sex due to cervical ectopion (very common in pregnancy apparently but I had it already - they picked it up in my last smear test which was bloody and painful but it's otherwise harmless). They said if it's spotting it's nothing to worry about and no point going to early assessment unit. Only worry if it's heavy bleeding that doesn't stop. Despite this I haven't seen any yet but imagine it's just a matter of time.

HJWT · 22/03/2019 08:06

@Baba11 try not to worry! The doctor yesterday looked at me like I had 2 heads when I said I didn't have cramps, as if to say 'why are you here' I think they must see it VERY regularly so yes unless its heavy red blood and cramping/constant sharp pains then its more than likely fine xx
