Hi guys. Just thought I'd make a new thread as the Oct and nov thread seem to have a lot of people who are ahead are behind. So just looking for some buddies to start this amazing journey.

I'm currently 6wk and 3 days. Luckily not has any nausea but eating a lot more and bloated loads! Also not been able to sleep past 3am!which is driving me mad!

Apart from that feeling blessed and on praying can get past 12 weeks soon xxxx

I had my GP appointment on Friday and I'm booked in to see the midwife on the 26th March when I'll be 9+2.
Nausea is getting worse although I seem to be sleeping better so it's not all bad!

Jeweregm03 · 07/03/2019 19:13

How long did it take for you to get a midwife appointment? I went over two weeks ago and not hear much

Baba11 · 07/03/2019 22:09

Iv self referred so waiting to hear. I hope get an appointment soon as doc scared me saying I was measuring big!

Also I'm going away for Easter so will be away wen I hit 12 weeks...

I’ve got an early scan today and midwife appointment next week. The private reassurance scans by where I live are only £29 so I’m just going to go whenever I feel abit unsure.

Anyone else had their midwife appointment yet?

Baba11 · 08/03/2019 07:04

@Wanderlust19 good luck for your scan, let us know how you get in. £29 is a bargain!

Good luck in your scan! £29 is amazing! It's around £100 at mine!

Bluebell9 · 08/03/2019 09:15

I saw the GP On Friday and had my letter for the midwife appt on Tuesday @Jeweregm03. How far along are you?

Good luck with the scan @Wanderlust19

julie0909 · 08/03/2019 09:56

Hello all, I’m due 25th October too and this will be my first. So nervous as lots of my friends have had MC. I’m seeing my midwife for first appointment on 25th April but we have also booked an early scan for next week as only £50. Not had much morning sickness yet, slight nausea feeling at times but nothing crazy, feeling overly tired all the time though. So reassuring to read others are in the same boat

Wanderlust19 · 08/03/2019 15:39

Had my scan today, measured at 7 weeks 5 days. Baby was growing in the right place and had a strong heartbeat! Still very small on ultrasound but was very reassuring.

Em39ma · 08/03/2019 16:31

Congrats wanderlust. You are exactly the same dates as me.
You do feel a bit better once you see them.

Baba11 · 08/03/2019 17:54

Glad it went well @Wanderlust19
Always good to put your mind at rest

Welcome@julie0909. Hopefully we can all be ther for each other and help each other this gruesome 2 eeek wait!

Got my appointment with midwife next Tuesday !! Then hopefully she will tell me when my scan will be. Thinking of paying for a early one now too. Don't think I can wait !!

Feeling a lot better the last few days, still eating a ton though.

Jeweregm03 · 09/03/2019 07:10

Welcome Julie! Same date as me

katywith3 · 09/03/2019 16:56

Hi I'm due 24th (for now) dating scab in a few weeks. I conceived on the pill and didn't know how far along I could be. Had a scan on Thursday and baby was measured at 7 weeks. Lovely strong heartbeat and lots of sickness/nausea for me 😭

Bb2019 · 09/03/2019 19:25

Hi everyone! I'm due 27th and seeing the midwife in a couple of weeks. First child.

Baba11 · 09/03/2019 20:53

Welcome newcomers.
Hope you guys are all well

7 weeks in my insomnia is still going strong. Brought a maternity pillow to make me more comfy. Hoping it will help as it's driving me nuts!

Anybody excessively tired still? I'm falling asleep by the afternoon...

Jeweregm03 · 10/03/2019 19:59

I get tired afternoon if I sit down I nap but I just try to keep busy. I seem to be having one good day, one bad day. No day has been the same ... Lol hoping this is as bad as it gets can't deal with not staying active and being bed bound !!

Franc3 · 10/03/2019 20:00

Hey everyone, im due 24 oct with my first. My current symptoms are nausea thats really getting me down. I had a scare with some bleeding at 6w4d so went till the early preg centre and they scanned and thankfully all is fine. Glad i had that though, called the docs when i found put i was preg and they refered me straight to the midwives and ny first appt isnt until 26th mar (9w5d) which seems really late compared to others dates. Hope your all doing well Grin

Baba11 · 10/03/2019 20:24

I get so tired come the afternoon find if I don't move around il dose off!

Welcome franc3. Glad you got checked out and all is ok. Try not let the nausea get you down, it will be worth it in the end. We are in the same boat and hopefully we can all be there for each other on this beautiful journey xx

Welcome Franc3! That's good news at least you know everything is fine and you can relax more! Nothing worse than waiting round for scan!

kimbles81 · 11/03/2019 07:59

Hi all xx new to mumsnet just joined this morning.
I am due oct 23rd although that could change slightly once I have my actual dating scan.

Found out 2 weeks ago Im expecting 4th child.. bit of a shock as im 38! 🙈
This little one is a rainbow baby after a MC 18 months ago.

Like a few others ive had some spotting so had an early scan at the EPU baby measured 7wks 1 day and has a lovely strong hearbeat of 141 bpm❤

I have continued to spot but have been told its actually quite common so trying not to panick.

Congratulations to you all on your little babas xxxxx

Kim xxxxx

Bb2019 · 11/03/2019 08:58

Welcome! Re spotting - I have an ectropion (the cells from inside the womb that travel to the outside of the cervix) which can cause harmless bleeding. I hear it's very common especially in pregnancy. I haven't noticed any spotting yet but suspect it might happen sooner or later and the doctor told me not to freak out if it does.

snaggers · 13/03/2019 11:51

Hello!

I'm pregnant for the first time, the result of IVF, and my due date is the 20th October. I'm currently 8+3. We had our early scan at 6+5 and a heartbeat was detected Smile

Currently feeling very tired and also sleeping very badly, so to the other ladies with insomnia, I HEAR YOU!! What's the deal with this waking up at 3am?! It's so annoying. I'm like a zombie!

Fingers crossed we all start to sleep better soon, and that nausea soon passes.

8weeksExhausted · 13/03/2019 14:45

Hi all I'm due October 22nd. I've seen my GP but yet to see a midwife, think that happens about week 10 where I am. I'm off work today because I'm so exhausted! Like someone above said, I'm constantly eating to stave off the nausea and only beige things which feels so unhealthy but I can barely look at my usual foods! Nice to meet you all
