Hi I'm 36w1 been out or hospital since Sunday after having sepsis! Reduced movements started on Tuesday but been in for monitoring and heart rate etc fine. Been for scan again could see heart beating but no movement seen or felt by sonographer. Babies heart beat keeps spiking and midwife saying that's her moving but I'm not feeling the movements. I feel like they are just fobbing me off. I feel like there is something wrong and no one is listening to me

Advice would be great please 😌

Wishing you all the very best OP

MotherOfDragonite · 17/02/2019 22:02

What an awful thread to read. I hope you have the best possible outcome, but I can't help feeling you must be very traumatised by how you've been ignored and your concerns minimised even when all the research shows how important this is.

Please update if you can, we are all wishing you and your baby well.

LeonoraFlorence · 17/02/2019 22:11

Are you in being continuously monitored, OP? I think you’ve been treated appallingly after having had sepsis too. Hope you’re ok.

HappyBumbleBee · 17/02/2019 22:30

Another message of support here OP - just read this full thread and am appalled at how lax they seem to have been! Hopefully everything is settling down and all is ok. Sending you my very best wishes xxx

Still hanging on and being monitored every 2 days now. I've stopped all my medications from when I had the sepsis which included cocodamol 30/500 4x daily and baby has been super active and the doctor said that could have been something to do with the reduced movements. I'm seeing my consultant this week so hoping she decides to take me in before my planned section on the 4th. I'm honestly a bag of nerves constantly terrified and just can't wait until it's all over! The last 2 weeks have been the worst 2 weeks of my life🙁

It sounds like you are getting good monitoring and have an explanation for why your baby might not have been moving so much. Hope all goes well.

ValleyoftheHorses · 17/02/2019 22:37

Glad baby has been active and you’re being monitored. Flowers

PQ77 · 17/02/2019 22:41

Great news! Baby could well have been sleepy from that high dose of cocodamol - astonishing that the first time you went to the hospital that wasn’t picked up on!

Starlight456 · 17/02/2019 22:42

Glad she is very active again . Wishing you all the best

Mrsmummy90 · 17/02/2019 23:11

I'm so glad that you and baby are doing ok! They'll be in your arms before you know it xxx

So pleased that your baby has picked up her movements again. Not long to go now! Hang on in there. x

Bouncingbelle · 18/02/2019 00:28

So glad to hear this! Now looking forward to the update saying she is here safe and sound Smile

MotherOfDragonite · 19/02/2019 13:11

So glad to hear that things have improved. Hoping they continue to go smoothly.

Fraula · 19/02/2019 21:51

Brilliant news :) would you possibly benefit from some counseling to help ease your anxiety? You've been through a really rough time. If you can get some, through work/nhs/ privately, it might really help you to enjoy (or not hate!) the rest of pregnancy. I hope it all goes really well for you!

Hubblebubbletripletrouble · 20/02/2019 08:54

How are you doing today OP?

MissMoodyMoo · 20/02/2019 11:02

More reduced movements on monitor just now 😥 seen my consultant today and she has moved my section date up to the 28th!! I can't believe I'm having my babt next week!! 🎉🎉🎉

@missmoodymoo I'm so glad that they are delivering the baby next week!! Now you can get excited about meeting your baby and putting this stressful time behind you xx Flowers

LiveThisLife · 20/02/2019 18:21

That’s great that they’ve moved it up OP. But if you’re worried in the meantime you can still go up every hour if needed to the hospital.

NewMum17 · 20/02/2019 21:54

Yay, that's good that they are finally listening to you Smile and although it's scary to have the baby earlier than planned..it will all be worth it. Thanks for the updates. We will all be thinking of you on the 28th. Hopefully you can relax a bit more after that. Wishing you all the best Flowers

NewAndImprovedNorks · 21/02/2019 22:16

Oh my goodness. I have been so worried about you.
And eeeeek! Baby next week

Florenceflamingo · 21/02/2019 22:26

Flowers sounds like you've had a terrible few weeks. Hope the wee one is here safe and sound soon.

MissMoodyMoo · 22/02/2019 00:06

It's been absoloutely awful I wake up during the night gasping for breath and heart palpitations thinking she's not moved 😥 I just can't wait until she's here. I'll keep everyone that's follows my story updated as i go. I have a scan tomorrow to see my wee tootsie then back to monitoring every 2 days until she is here! ❤ I'm also writing everything down and going to write a massive review to send to my MSP, the trust's manager and sending it off to the health Secretary for Scotland

Of coitde you are allowed to wake up terrified! You e been through so much. I think writing it all down sounds very sensible. Crazy that a hospital trust flagged for its stillbirth rate isn’t now the opposite and hyper vigilant and helpful. Sorry you had to fight so hard but huge well done for doing so. Hope the scan goes well and not long now!
