@stormtrooperjulian I think it would be a miracle. My hcg only rose by 163 in 48 hours so according to the Doctor it will be a miscarriage sadly.

@Delilah7 Thanks hun, I will try that. x

@Crossfitgirl They didn't remove the cyst as they said it wouldn't cause any problems and will probably disappear on its own. I just want it all to be over now.

Thanks @FivexFive ❤️ the waiting is hard isn't it. I hope it goes as smoothly as possible for you. I am going to take a break for a bit too while I get over it, but I guess we will be back to the conception board again! At least we will have each other. Xx

Scan is booked in for Friday so it will be good to confirm it all then.
I am getting some brown spotting but that may just be from the laparoscopy at this point. The doctor said I would probably just have my period when it's due and that would be it. So that wouldn't be until March which seems a long time to wait. 😩

MrsEG · 17/02/2019 18:18

Oh @FivexFive @FlapJackered I just popped back here to see how everyone has been getting on, and have been so sad to see your news.

I have now had my D&C, it took place nearly 2 weeks ago when I should have been 10 weeks. It wasn’t too bad physically, not painful at all and the hospital were absolutely fantastic with me. So, if either of you end up going down this route eventually, try not to worry - it’s nowhere near as bad as you’ll imagine. (I also had a natural MC in October which was quite painful but ibuprofen and a hot water bottle got me through it.)

What I will say is, I also went through a 2 week wait for another scan/diagnosis and it’s very, very hard. Don’t go to work if you find it’s adding another stress/pressure - I found it impossible to concentrate and my GP was very sympathetic and happily signed me off. You’ll have some days where you’ll feel totally fine and yet some you’ll be hit with sadness and anxiety like a truck and won’t even be able to get out of bed. Make sure DH is sympathetic too - mine was generally wonderful but would sometimes question why I was bursting in to tears in the middle of Lidl!

It’s a horrible, horrible thing to go through. I’m on the other side now and still feel awful some days but I can see ahead to the future now and I know my baby is there eventually, as will yours.

If either of you have any questions for me feel free to DM me. Take care and look after yourselves x

EltzBee · 18/02/2019 09:47

@MrsEG sending hugs, you're such a strong lady and your baby is definitely waiting for you at the right time.

First day back to work today; working from home. Got a call with my boss shortly so wish me luck!

EltzBee · 18/02/2019 13:54

Went fine talking to my boss earlier. Posing this week by ear and working from home and taking it easy so I can rest.

Crossfitgirl · 18/02/2019 19:59

Hey @mrseg nice to hear from you and glad you are coming through the other side of things now, you will make such a strong mummy when the time comes xxx

@eltzbee glad the call with your boss went OK and you're able to get back to work in some form.
How are you feeling now?

I keep thinking I feel something in my tummy and wondering if I can feel the baby yet, but I think I'm imagining it! I think it's just my stomach grumbling as its gone now, probs too early to feel anything at 15+3! I'm willing so much to feel it soon!

EltzBee · 18/02/2019 20:18

@Crossfitgirl still got the nausea and tiredness but not at bad as it was, I'm not sick every single day now!

It could have been the baby! Women feel at all different times and sometimes takes a while to realise what it is.

ChaosMoon · 19/02/2019 06:33

@stormtrooperjulian I wish I'd jumped on him more in the second trimester. Finding a) the energy and b) a position that's comfy is so hard now!

@CobaltRose you'll be meeting your baby so soon! I'm so excited for you.

FlapJackered and FivexFive, We'll be thinking of you both.

@MrsEG it's so good to hear from you, and I'm glad the hospital have been looking after you well. I echo what everyone else is saying. Your time and your baby will come, and you're going to be a great mum.

@ElltzBee i'm glad it went well with work!

@Crossfitgirl it absolutely could be. It's rare, but you'd only be a week ahead of me. See if it keeps happening!

FlapJackered · 19/02/2019 06:52

@MrsEG thank you for your lovely message. I am so glad to hear you are doing ok.
I thought I was coping but it hit me like a steam truck yesterday. It's hard not to let the negative thoughts take over.
I have got a scan on Friday so will know more then about what is going to happen, but may dm you if there are choices to be made if that's ok. Thanks x

Ladies I am going to leave you to it on here for now. Hopefully I will be back before long with good news again but I wish you all the luck in the world with your pregnancies and babies when they come. Thank you for all your support through this weekend, you have all been so kind and lovely. ❤️

sunshine1987 · 19/02/2019 07:12

@flapjackered sending you so much love, look after yourself 💜

SullyWifey · 19/02/2019 08:03

@FlapJackered huge hugs darling. Will be thinking of you and can't wait to see your name pop up again xx

SullyWifey · 19/02/2019 08:04

@Crossfitgirl soooo do I!!!' @ChaosMoon when did you first feel something and knew it was bubba??

Since Friday fright a few times a day I feel like popping and a rolling sensation. Only very very slightly but I'm aware of it! Could it be? Iv been dismissing it as gas thinking it's too early! 16 plus 2 now xxx

EltzBee · 19/02/2019 09:18

Ah the being sick is back 😥
12+4 today.

GemmaJen · 19/02/2019 10:53

Second half of booking completed today, my midwife does seem lovely. She had to deal with our trio of terriers and she coped like a champ -they have to inspect visitors before I can put them away, otherwise the barking is constant - makes me worry what it's going to be like with a baby and shouty dogs? 🙈 Booking all sorted but I've been referred to the consultant due to low platelets - has anyone else had this? They're lower than last time prior to the MC, when they were low but really just under the threshold. I don't bruise easily or anything so don't know why they would be. Apparently if they drop lower I'd not be able have certain birth choices like an epidural.

EltzBee · 19/02/2019 11:09

@GemmaJen glad you've got a nice midwife :) I'm midwife led but I think one of the other ladies might be consultant led (unless I imagined it!!). The m/w said when I had my booking in that if anything comes back, sometimes they have you see the consultant and then they go from there, but you could still be midwife led depending on what they decide..if that makes sense?

Bless your dogs! I keep wondering how our cats are going to react! From what I've read online, the recommendations with pets are to have the baby furniture set up a few weeks in advance so that they get used to it, and potentially think about playing the sounds of baby cries quietly too so they get 'used' to that noise. I think a lot of pets are quite happy to embrace the new member of their 'pack'! :D

MrsC87 · 19/02/2019 12:02

Sorry not been on it's been a busy few days, so sorry to hear the sad news @FlapJackered @FivexFive please take care of yourselves 💗

I am now starting to feel baby move since last Thursday 🥰
@EltzBee I'm sorry to say but mine did last until about 16 weeks. Have you got sea bands? They helped me massively.

OP posts:
sunshine1987 · 19/02/2019 12:02

@sullywifey @crossfitgirl was told around 16 weeks would start to feel movement so you probably are! I have a dodgy placenta so won’t feel it until much later

@sullywifey also how are we 16+2 already?!

MrsC87 · 19/02/2019 12:16

I have a maternity leave question, so I intend to take maternity leave from my due date 16th July and then use all of my 2019 holidays and statutory days before that meaning I finish work around week 37.
So...if baby comes early and maternity leave kicks in, what happens with my holiday? Do I lose it, or would it roll to the other end? x

OP posts:
ChaosMoon · 19/02/2019 12:27

@SullyWifey I think I was 16 and 3 when I felt pops that I thought might be it but dismissed it. Had a midwife appointment at 17 and 1. She said it probably was from what is described. I felt it again the next day and every day since. So that probably is your baby that you're feeling!

That sucks that you're feeling rubbish again @EltzBee. I hope it doesn't last.

I've never heard of that @GemmaJen. Is there anything they can do to improve your count?

sunshine1987 · 19/02/2019 12:37

@mrsc87 at my work you’d still be entitled to it so it would roll over. But also at my place I can’t take any leave accrued during my time off until after my maternity leave. So for example my leave runs from Feb to Feb and I go off in July so I can only take the 2 days I accrue each month (Feb-July) before I go and everything else after, as I’ve not worked those months yet. If that makes any sense x

MrsC87 · 19/02/2019 13:00

I think mine is the same @sunshine1987 re taking it in the actual holiday year. Just need to check the rolling if baby is early with Directors. I get my matb1 form next week I think at the 20 week scan.

@Crossfitgirl remind me when you are finding out the gender? Is it soon?

OP posts:
sunshine1987 · 19/02/2019 13:41

@mrsc87 ah no sorry what I meant is mine gets carried over, so i’ll be taking Aug through to the following Feb (whilst I’m on mat leave) at the end of the April before I return to work. As I can’t take it before because I’ve not worked enough months in the year yet to be allowed to take the full amount of days entitled that year x

CookieWaffle · 19/02/2019 13:42

Oh my, I just popped back to see how everyone is doing... @FivexFive @FlapJackered I'm so sorry ladies. Sending you much love and hugs. Look after yourselves xx

ChaosMoon · 19/02/2019 16:11

@MrsC87 I'm doing the same thing - takingholiday from just before 37 weeks and starting my mat leave on my due date.

If the baby comes early, your mat leave starts the day after the baby is born. Your holiday is a legal/contractual entitlement, so they have to let you role it over or pay you for it. If you role it over, they can make you track it in to the end of your maternity leave, but they don't have to.

Sorry, I took so long to reply earlier that I missed your post!

MrsC87 · 19/02/2019 16:15

Oh I see @sunshine1987, so I've been told to take it all before. Hopefully like @ChaosMoon says they will role any holiday not used if baby does arrive early. I can clarify next week. First babies do tend to be late normally?
Can't believe I'm actually working out maternity and then what days I intend to work afterwards- love a spreadsheet and being organised 😆

OP posts:
ChaosMoon · 19/02/2019 16:18

They random to be late... But the difference isn't as big as you might think. And I met a girl yesterday who went into labour with her first at 34 weeks!
