Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

Hi all, jumping in to join. Currently 5w 5d so due 30 September but hedging my bets on whether it’ll be a September baby or October. This is #3 for us and I’ll be having 3 under 3 as my eldest two just turned 2 and 1 last week.

It’s hard not to be excited after I lost our little boy at 20wks last August due to sepsis so I’ve got a lovely cautious GP who has already done my bloods (results tomorrow) and an early ultrasound to confirm.

Guys is it normal to not be excited about the pregnancy anymore? I just constantly feel sick, like a massive hangover that won't go away. I've had to take time off at work. Honestly just feel miserable.

Congratulations and welcome @SamStephens! So sorry for your loss. That's great that your GP has done that!

MamaDane absolutely - for some people the first trimester is the absolute worse. It does generally get better once you’re over the first 12 weeks and it starts to feel a bit more tangible when you’re showing and feeling kicks etc to get you more excited.

@MamaDane sorry to hear you're so ill. I think it can be difficult to maintain excitement between sickness and worrying that it's going to end badly. I hope the sickness goes soon.

@MamaDane I haven't done this before (and luckily I don't feel sick yet, just 5w) but I don't think that's unusual at all! Feeling ill would make anyone miserable, don't worry! I'm finding the wait for things to get going weird - I'm feeling a bit 'I'm pregnant, now what?!'.

Thanks @Glitterandunicorns I’m quite surprised at how excited DH is to be honest although I think he’s going to wrap me in cotton wool this time around lol

@Glitter this is going to sound awful but I don't even feel much worry, like I did last pregnancy (MC), I'm literally just miserable and irrationally blaming the twins even though we've been through fertility treatment since last March. Thank you.

@Trinnidad I see what you mean, yeah the wait is absolutely weird. Wondering if everything is going alright while everything feels a bit surreal and it's just out of your hands.

Hi all! Can I join in? I got my BFP this morning! I tested on Sunday and there was an extremely faint line...today it's very clear. This will be my second baby, my first is nearly 2. I did a calculator thingy and it says I'm due 10 October...

Hi Can someone add me to the list please. My phone doesn't seem to let me copy. I'm first time pregnant. 7th October. Feeling first day of sickness today. Is horrible. Surprised so early on in pregnancy. I also have been waking up with a dry mouth. Anyone else experience this?

Also can I join the Facebook too. Support each other. Sounds a good idea.

I did this morning, but i think I have the start of a cold which is going to be fun without taking any decongestants etc!

Still having hardly any symptoms, the occasional bit of nausea which I should be greatful for but is making me paranoid!

Yeah I woke up with a really dry mouth and throat 🙄 My lips were all dry as well - I'm 4+2 and hoping this doesn't continue 😂😂

not really getting morning sickness yet!

@Ellera congrats too. Yeah my lips are all cracked too. Having to get up in middle of night for water. Sickness only started today 5 plus 2. Hopefully will pass.

So maybe a week of sickness free left 😂 it's making me nervous that I'm not really getting any symptoms other than a few twinges

I've been feeling knackered and sorry for myself these past few days so haven't been on in a while. How is everyone else doing? I'm somewhere between 6+5 and 7+2 depending on the calculation. 2 weeks til I book in, not heard anything about a scan yet though.

I was an October baby ( right at the end of the month) and imo it's the best month to be born in.

@IcyToes me too, I feel like a zombie today and I'm not even 6 weeks yet 😫
