I’m sure there’s loads of threads like this!
I’m due March 12th with my first - a little girl.
I have 10+2 days left and I am beyond bored! I have gone through clothes so many times and arranged them, I have washed all the pushchair and Moses basket and cot stuff. I have the majority of stuff we need only need a few minor bits (bathing stuff, extra bedding etc) but waiting on money for that!
I have had the easiest pregnancy only really suffering with back ache and hip pain every so often (touch wood it doesn’t change) and it still doesn’t feel real that I am having a baby but I’m impatient and bored now!
Anyone else feeling the same?!

@Firsttimetobe2019 you sound so calm about everything! We should have all baby stuff sorted by the weekend. Also hoping to go to MLU but am getting nervous about pain. So, will see how I get on with that!

@HidCat @Milligan123 we are all close together in terms of due date. Can compare symptoms 🙊 I’m mainly just getting sciatic pain just now. X

BeHereNowx32 · 26/02/2019 18:45

@Smilenow2008 how did midwife go? My next app is Thursday

HidCat · 26/02/2019 21:29

@BeHereNowx32 @Milligan123 I feel like we're having a little race lol. I think my little lady has turned back to back today. Getting sciatic pain too plus pressure low down and heartburn verging on nausea at times. Insomnia and constantly needing to pee too! Hope you're doing ok though?

Milligan123 · 26/02/2019 21:39

@hidcat I've been lucky with avoiding heart burn and indegestion but I have a nerve that keeps pinching in my back that radiates round the top of my bump which is lovely lol!

BeHereNowx32 · 26/02/2019 21:43

@HidCat I have the same symptoms as you. Not heartburn but constant nausea.

@Milligan123 @HidCat I know you shouldn’t but I like comparing symptoms 😊 shows that things are happening lol

Firsttimetobe2019 · 26/02/2019 23:01

@BeHereNowx32 - I am so excited, calm - just about! Nervous for pain... Gosh yeah I am! I don’t want to be in pain!

38 weeks today I was out walking for around 5 hours today! I am now feeling it my knees ache, my backs seized up slightly and my feet are swollen😂 That’ll teach me for trying to keep up with 2 non pregnant women😂
I am going to have serious baby envy if anyone pops before me😂 i’m Excited for everyone!

@BeHereNowx32 Midwife went ok, im just getting impatient now for lil one to arrive. my bumps been sore yesterday but midwife said its the babys bum lol. Had a bad day Friday with my SPD my left leg kept collapsing was hoping midwife would suggest something to help but she basically said your nearly at the end now. she is a lovely lady mind.

Hope everyone else is ok ladies?

snoopy18 · 27/02/2019 07:30

How are you walking for 5 hours at 38 weeks 😂 I can just about do an hour at 37 weeks 😂 go girl 💪🏾

LuckyKitty13 · 27/02/2019 07:34

@BeHereNowx32 I'm 37 +1 and been doing hypnobirthing practice since 20 weeks - listening to the tracks daily and also been to a one-one-one course with Sophie Fletcher - it's been fantastic preparation for all eventualities. Idea is to keep me calm and relaxed whatever happens. Have you been doing it too?

BeHereNowx32 · 27/02/2019 08:22

@Firsttimetobe2019 are you using walking to try and get yourself into labour? 😅

@snoopy18 I have woken up with tight and sore tummy muscles. I thought it was Braxton Hicks, but it’s constant... that’s annoying about the SPD. I’m the same, but was thinking it was sciatic pain. Hope it eases off.

@LuckyKitty13 wish I started as early as you did. I have used the positive birthing company app. And tried the MiFi one (didn’t like). Only listened to them a couple of time. But thinking about it just now, I do feel a bit calmer today. Good that your’s is working, since you have been so dedicated to it x

VioletGInPlease · 27/02/2019 09:38

I'm Still constantly being sick or feeling sick heartburn ridiculous.

Ooh i keep getting on of tightening too how exciting means we're all progressing along.

I see consultant today due to reduced movement and apparently low fluid.

So will see of im getting induced next week I'm not ready hahaha.

Mind you I've not been able to walk for past 2 days with spd my pelvis completley seized and couldn't weight bear seems to be a bit better today.

So the early labour sounds appealing at the same time lol.

Hope you ladies get some relief pregnancy can be draining xxx

Firsttimetobe2019 · 27/02/2019 10:51

Well my family thought it’d be fun to go shopping and drag me up and down the town, stopping for about an hour for lunch and that was about it😂
Safe to say it didn’t bloody start anything🙄

OP posts:
Firsttimetobe2019 · 27/02/2019 17:48

Has anyone progressed in anyway??
I haven't dropped at all, other than pains after sex I have nothing!
My discharge (Sorry TMI again!) has gone from watery/white to a light brown colour in both my pad and when wiping!
I'm hoping this is the start of something even if it takes all week I'll be excited so see the finishing line!
Also I've noticed baby's more active and her routines changed from night active, to day active now were at all day active!

CaseofEllen · 27/02/2019 18:03

@Firsttimetobe2019 feel like I'm progressing sometimes. I've had period pains on and off for weeks, watery discharge and huge pelvis pressure but nothing ever happens! Definitely don't feel like it's going to happen for me anytime soon which is frustrating. I'm 36+6 now x

BeHereNowx32 · 27/02/2019 18:33

@Firsttimetobe2019 sometimes I feel baby hitting her head of my cervix (that’s what it feels like anyway). Can’t say if I’ve dropped as my bump has always been low... I am getting back ache, like a period pain.

The brown really sounds like the start of something! X

Firsttimetobe2019 · 27/02/2019 20:09

@BeHereNowx32
Does that send a shock through you?? I keep getting the odd movement that feels like she's hitting somewhere and I can feel a shooting pain go through my ass😂
Oh I really hope it is! I'm trying not to get too excited but it's hard😂

OP posts:
BeHereNowx32 · 27/02/2019 20:14

@Firsttimetobe2019 it’s more a burning pain/ pressure. I do get that shooting pain through my butt, but was thinking that was like sciatica. That’s sooo sore.
Keep us updated. I don’t think baby will be coming just yet for me. Writing out a list of things that still need done 😩 x

PlinkPlink · 27/02/2019 20:28

Things I took for granted whilst I was pregnant - so I'm telling you so you can enjoy it....

Silence - just lovely peace and quiet

A tidy room that stays that way for longer than an hour

Being able to read a book

Being able to listen to music without holding a rather heavy child in your arms whilst you have to dance (because they're too cute to refuse)

A hot cup of tea/coffee

Being able to hold a conversation without being interrupted

Being able to play the piano/knit/sew/cook/paint whenever I want to

Enjoy it all OP!!!!!! 😂😂😂 All of the above have been missing in my life for 2 years now (they are replaced by other amazing things instead)

Firsttimetobe2019 · 27/02/2019 20:36

@BeHereNowx32
I think it's still going to be a little while for me yet! The amount hasn't increased at all but it's deffinatley icky looking😂
Hoping things progress for you and go smoothly!

@PlinkPlink
I haven't been able to have a room tidy for more than an hour when I have a partner who believes I am a cleaning fairy that will pick up shit after him constantly🙄😂

Hi ladies hoping I can jump in....i was due the 26th Feb. But looks like this baby is going to be a march baby after all ...hope your all doing well.

BeHereNowx32 · 28/02/2019 11:56

@Mummykaz90 things must be about to happen soon for you then?! How are you feeling?

I’m a bit crampy today. Around my front and back. Trying not to look too much into anything- until it’s obvious! Wouldn’t mind baby staying in there for another week or so. Just bought a new book and like the relaxing 😉😉 xx

Firsttimetobe2019 · 28/02/2019 12:57

@BeHereNowx32 Last night I had an awful night, my bump felt really really tight and my hips felt like they were being stretched! She must be getting cramped! She's still not in the right position but I'm getting more and more impatient the more people go "you not popped yet?" "Anything happening yet?"
Everything seems like it's gone back to normal again today🙄

@Mummykaz90 my gosh, I'd be pulling my hair out! Try walking up and down the stairs!?

OP posts:
Mummykaz90 · 28/02/2019 13:18

@BeHereNowx32 oh I really wished so...I have been in slow labour for weeks now at 1cm dilated. Have had on off contractions that sizzle out and lead to nothing. It's tiring. But since yesterday I've had a very bad backache and feel very heavy down their...I have my 3rd sweep booked for tomorrow...so I'm really hoping she comes over the weekend if not I've told mw I want to be induced before 42 weeks as have had previous problems in other pregnancies so don't want to risk waiting again.

@Firsttimetobe2019 I wish I had time to pull my hair out lol with 3 other kids to look after its a bit hectic. Believe me I've tried everything...walking,ball,curry,sex the lot and she still doesn't want to come. I do have this very odd feeling she will come on Sunday the 3rd. As my othe children all have a 3 in their birthdays and March the 3rd is also my birthday Smile so maybe wishful thinking. Hope your all feeling ok I do hate the end of pregnancy it seems to drag so much

Ruthio1983 · 28/02/2019 13:31

I’m 36+6 today. Had some serious cramps last night and baby is kicking like crazy today. I’m ready and not ready at the same time. Just wish it was more clear cut when it comes to labour!

BeHereNowx32 · 28/02/2019 16:21

@Firsttimetobe2019 you sound like me. Midwife said today that I’ve been getting contractions and that baby could be in a few days.
But after seeing @Mummykaz90 post it sounds like it could go on for ages! Baby is very low down for me x
