I’m sure there’s loads of threads like this!
I’m due March 12th with my first - a little girl.
I have 10+2 days left and I am beyond bored! I have gone through clothes so many times and arranged them, I have washed all the pushchair and Moses basket and cot stuff. I have the majority of stuff we need only need a few minor bits (bathing stuff, extra bedding etc) but waiting on money for that!
I have had the easiest pregnancy only really suffering with back ache and hip pain every so often (touch wood it doesn’t change) and it still doesn’t feel real that I am having a baby but I’m impatient and bored now!
Anyone else feeling the same?!

ECG came back fine as expected! They couldn’t really say what caused the black out, could be baby laying on a nerve or a drop in blood pressure! I still feel lethargic and tired from the GTT test yesterday, so they think that could also be why I blacked out!
I’m heading home now and just glad baby and I are doing okay!
Can’t stop eating today, wonder if it’s from fasting before the GTT test!

Thank you all for your concern though!

@firsttimetobe2019 - I didn’t have anyone with me as didn’t want to bother anyone, but I text my grandad and he says they are bringing the rota forward starting from tomorrow evening haha, bless them! Hope you and little one are doing well x

@beherenow - oh bless you, I’m sorry to hear you suffered heart palpitations too, horrible things! I’m glad they managed to work out what caused yours though :) x

@hidcat - thank you! It’s definitely been a stressful couple of days, but at least baby is okay that’s the main thing!

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 09:20

Morning!
Finally feeling human again this morning! Albeit completely ravenous too! The midwife at the hospital yesterday said because baby is growing so much, you feel hungry all the time because she needs more nutrients and things from me, it’s fascinatihg this whole pregnancy thing!

Can’t wait to see my wee angel later, I’m so curious to know how much she weighs!

I’m working from home this morning and making sure I keep on top of eating lots!

Hope everyone else is well :)

I just put the cot up all by myself 😍 it’s beautiful and matches the nursery colour 💕 fit for a princess 😍

Due in March and so bored.

@IrishAceyMac13 that’s so sweet. Feel like everyone is putting me to shame! You’re all so much more organised than me!!! I may start packing Hospital bag over never few weeks... and feel like the house needs a proper declutter. Even if I’ve been doing it for months!
Good luck for scan x

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 14:04

@beherenow32 - thank you, it’s so beautiful I keep admiring it haha! I’m not usually an organised person, but because I’m nesting I just want everything sorted. I’m re carpeting my living room too so that needs doing before my wee one arrives! I’ll do my hospital bag next week I think, I’ll feel better once it’s done :) it’s going to be hard picking what to take as she has such cute clothes lol! Thank you for the good luck, I will update after I’ve had it done :) x

I’ve eaten so much today but clearly little lady needs it :)

Exhaustedmummy1811 · 23/01/2019 15:11

So on Monday I found out my waters had gone, got to my growth scan and she only 1.8cm left. I am now 29+3 and they want me to try and get to 34 weeks before induction but best case scenario is 36 weeks as they can't leave me beyond that as the chance of infection increases. Tomorrow I go for another scan to see how she's doing but I just know they are going to end up admitting me. I am very scared an also very worried about my other children. Hope everyone else is doing ok

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 16:07

Holy moly. She’s weighing in at 4lb 1oz at 31+1 - the average weight at 31 weeks is around 3lb 3oz 😂
She has hair too we saw it!!!

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 16:15

@exhaustedmummy- I’m sorry to hear that, it sounds so scary for you! I really hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Firsttimetobe2019 · 23/01/2019 16:44

Hi girls sorry i’ve been quiet again! I’m up the hospital at the minute getting checked over as i’ve been having really dizzy spells and burning along my ribs and top of bump. Babies also been particularly quiet!

@IrishAceyMac13 - Glad you’re feeling better! God you might beat me to it hopefully she stays put! We’ve redecorated the room so Nans ordered us a new cot😍 Jheeze what a little chunk😉 The scans aren’t always accurate so she might be bigger or smaller!

@Exhaustedmummy1811 hopefully everything stays well and baby stays put for you!

@Exhaustedmummy1811 what a stress. It’s amazing how well prem babies do when born now. Buy hopedully baby stays in there as long as possible.

@Firsttimetobe2019 how did you get on at hospital? Hope all ok.

I am struggling with feeling so tired just now. I just slept for 2 hours. I don’t know if this is because of pregnancy or anaemia. I want to sort things in the House, but sleeping/ being lazy always wins! X

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 17:08

@firsttimetobe2019 - hope you’re okay babe, keep us updated! The sonographer said baby can lay on a main nerve in the back which causes dizziness and or fainting, he said to sit at an angle and don’t lay on my back! I’m sure your little lady is just being lazy and will perk up soon lovely, definitely best to get checked though!
I’m very happy to be feeling better, that gtt test really knocked me for six! Awww you’ve got a new cot yay, so exciting! 😍 the sonographer said they tend to put on half a pound a week now, but I think she’s definitely going to be a wee chunk 😍 I can’t believe she’s got hair 😍😍 x

Firsttimetobe2019 · 23/01/2019 17:26

@Beherenow32 i’m all strapped up on the monitor. To me the heartbeat sounds so quiet and slow compared to normal - wondering whether it’s on the right place, baby isn’t moving and usually she goes mad while the monitors are on!

@IrishAceyMac13 - My God have I had the worst acid over the last few weeks - it’s not every day but if I bend over while I’m burning it literally flows out! 🤢 my next scan isn’t until the 15th! Soooo far away

OP posts:
IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 18:34

@firsttimetobe2019 - try not to worry, when I was on the monitor yesterday it kept beeping because it couldn’t keep track of her heartbeat as the pads weren’t on properly, plus I could hear her moving but couldn’t feel anything but after a glass of freezing water it got her going wild! The midwife said if they had any concerns they would be running around like headless chickens trying to get people to help, so I know it’s hard but I’m sure everything is okay 💕 I’m with you on the acid, it’s horrible isn’t it! The sonographer asked me if I had heartburn, I was like aye it’s been constant, then he showed me her hair and said that’s why! Aww bless you, I don’t have any more scans now unless the gtt results come back as positive!

One of my brothers is here, he said right let me put the cot up, so he went upstairs and couldn’t believe that A) I’d managed to put it up by myself, and B) that it’s completely sturdy 😂 I am queen of diy now 😂
See my midwife tomorrow, then whooping cough jab on Friday, fun times!

HidCat · 23/01/2019 19:11

@IrishAceyMac13 glad you're feeling better! sounds like you're growing a good un!

@Exhaustedmummy1811 yikes! I hope she manages to stay put as long as possible for you. xx

@Firsttimetobe2019 I hope things are ok for you. xx

Another one being monitored at the moment as ctg showed regular fairly strong tightenings again after a fall onto my bump this morning. Baby is ok but we're going back tomorrow morning for a follow up ctg, possibly a scan, who knows. Going to have a soak in the bath to see if I can calm these Braxton Hicks down.

Firsttimetobe2019 · 23/01/2019 19:59

@IrishAceyMac13 I bet he was well impressed😂 Us women, pregnant or not can do anything!
Little bugger was asleep, and after 45 minutes she woke and started going mad! It was so quiet and then she woke up and it went mad the difference on the heart rate notes is unreal😂
I’m all good - got my bloods taken. Will find out tomorrow if I’m lacking in iron or anything else! I had my jabs ages ago! How come your only just getting yours??

@HidCat - I hope you’re ok! Was it this bloody ice and snow that caused you to fall?!

katiepreston · 23/01/2019 20:34

Hi guys! Congrats on all of your pregnancy's, I'm also due 19th March but will be booked in for a section the week before due to previous tear. I've got a little boy already, 6. I hope you're all feeling a bit better, not long to go now Smile

IrishAceyMac13 · 23/01/2019 20:51

@hidcat - I’m sorry to hear you had a fall, I hope everything goes okay for you tomorrow and that your bath has eased the Braxton Hicks a wee bit!

@firsttimetobe2019 - he’s struggling to believe that I put it up 😂 he seems very confused that I was able to do diy whilst heavily pregnant, so I said and that is why women are the best 😂
Oooo what a cheeky wee lady you have, I’m so glad everything is okay though and she was just being a wee lazy bones! Hopefully all your bloods come back fine!
It took my drs 6 bastard months to get me registered, a lot of arguments from me ans my midwife and finally me completely going ape shit at them got it sorted! So they wouldn’t do the gtt test or give me my jabs or anything until they got their act together and registered me! They were trying to tell my midwife not to give me any care and she was like well I am giving her care because she’s pregnant so deal with it! I think my midwife will fall off her chair tomorrow when she sees I’m finally registered! 😂 because I’m Irish I had this ignorant receptionist trying to tell me I need a visa and all this crap, that’s when I lost my shit with them 😂

HidCat · 23/01/2019 20:56

@Firsttimetobe2019 yes, slipped on a massive patch of ice in a car park. Managed to land on hands and knees first but they slipped out from underneath me and bump took the fall.

@katiepreston congratulations! Welcome to the group.

@IrishAceyMac13 that's unbelievable! Glad you're finally registered.

IrishAceyMac13 · 24/01/2019 07:43

Morning!
Just stuffing my face before heading to see my midwife at 10 😂

Hidcat & exhaustedmummy - I hope everything goes well for you both today!

IrishAceyMac13 · 24/01/2019 10:23

Midwife went well :) even better news my gtt test results came back perfect :)

Beherenow32 · 24/01/2019 17:01

@IrishAceyMac13 good news! X

HidCat · 24/01/2019 21:14

@IrishAceyMac13 all went ok thanks. Given instructions to rest as they're happy that I have just irritated my uterus but it's calming down by itself.

IrishAceyMac13 · 25/01/2019 15:10

@beherenow - definitely good news, hope you’re well! I’m with you on the tiredness it’s unreal 😴 x

@hidcat - I’m glad everything went well that’s a relief :)

Gah this nesting needs to stop now, I’ve just deep cleaned and rearranged my whole kitchen including the pantry haha. Feeling really uncomfortable today too and my bump feels so heavy!

Beherenow32 · 25/01/2019 16:43

@IrishAceyMac13 good job. It will feel good having everything all organised.
I’m proper struggling with eating well. I can’t eat much, and just want to snack on plan/ junk food... not good because I’m anaemic also.
How is everyone else doing with food?? I’m worrying about baby, although I have been trying to eat better x

Beherenow32 · 25/01/2019 16:52

Plain* not plan
