We've run out of room so let's start again.

New people welcome. The group aims to support those who are pregnant post difficulty.

All are welcome - we are aimed at 12 week plus as those early weeks are a different kind of roller coaster and another group exists for support then. However you are welcome here too if you want to join.

Some of us have been here a while and nearly ready to pop. Others already had their babies.

Welcome one and all xxx

Nice to hear that all the mummies and babies are doing well.
Good luck @Janefx40. Looking forward to hearing your news.

Just curious, when did everyone give birth? Which week in pregnancy? I’m just 33 weeks, but keep thinking baby could be here in 3 weeks! (Or 8😂) xx

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 12:58

@Liverpool19 thank you ❤️ How r you feeling? Have you been getting out much? Bit cold now, but trying to walk her every day. Any play groups? Victoria if she is really really pooped out-can sleep 5 hours straight before feed, but usually it’s still 2,5/3,5 intervals all night 😫😫
@Beherenow32 38+5, planned section. Feels so long time ago 😅😅

Fox23 · 22/01/2019 12:59

@Beherenow32 I had selective c section so I had mine two days before the actual due date. How are you feeling? What makes you think that you will be early?

Beherenow32 · 22/01/2019 13:28

@Fox23 it’s just that I know going early is a possibility, not that I’ve had any indication that I will. Baby is feeling so heavy now. I don’t know how people cope with being overdue!
Thanks xx

Liverpool19 · 22/01/2019 15:30

beherenow I was induced, baby came 5 days early with a perfect induction. In and out in 12 hours. Had the propess put in at 11am on the Sunday. He was here 8.30am the Monday.
aliona I’ve not been to play groups yet but have been out lots. Things haven’t gone to plan this week as my grandad is in hospital so trying to fit in everyday life aswell as visiting him 😂

He still sleeps in the day aswell some days he will only have 2/3 hours throughout the day though 😳
Needles are next week feeling sly on him but i know it’s for the best!

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 15:44

@Liverpool19 Sorry about your grandad being unwell 😏
She also sleeps only few hours during day, usually it’s 4 naps of about 25/30 min 😞 just enough time for coffee 🤣🤣

Fox23 · 22/01/2019 15:57

@Aliona19 same as @Liverpool19 I haven’t been to any play group yet, but I have planned music classes starting in two weeks time. Can’t waut!
Also I have booked nursery place as they get filled so quickly. We are actually lucky, as lady said that they always lose a lot of kids to school by the end of September/October, so they have spaces for us.

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 16:19

@Fox23 yeah everyone is keep saying that about nursery.. but I am not sure it’s worth for me going back to work 🙄 and I don’t think I want to go that early..

Liverpool19 · 22/01/2019 16:27

Yes we have a place with a child minder I will be back in work the beginning of August but not back to my proper job until I have been re-trained and passed my exams again 😭 I’ve been out of role so long I have to do it all again 🤦🏼‍♀️
aliona some days he will sleep for ages other days not so much. Today he has slept 😂
I’m on my 2nd week back in the gym and on slimming world 💪🏼

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 16:38

@Liverpool19 🤣 was wondering how long it would take you to be back to gym 🤣🤣💪🏻💪🏻 I walked with her for just over an hour and was out of breath 🤣
She will be 10 month when I have to be back to work, I don’t have heart to give her to nursery for whole week 😫😭 maybe will have to find evening or weekend job to get more money

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 16:41

Anyone thinking about swimming lessons for Little ones?

Barcelo18 · 22/01/2019 17:46

I was induced at 38+1 but after two days of induction, it didn’t work so ended up having an emergency c section and ten minutes later he was here.

My little one is 7 weeks old on Thursday and we have been to a baby massage class which he’s enjoying and it’s something I’ve now got into doing on him at home on an evening after he’s ready for bed. I’m also booking up tonight for water babies for next month. Once my baby massage course has finished I’m then looking at the baby yoga and sensory classes as I think he will be a bit more alert then and able to enjoy them more.

I’ve also started looking at nurseries which is proving a nightmare as my husband and I both work funny shifts but I’m hoping that we will find something suitable soon as y the sounds of things the good ones get booked up and have waiting lists 🙈

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 17:49

@Barcelo18 I am planning to book waterbabies too, just waiting for bcg vaccine to be done. She loves bath, hope she will love colder water too 😰😅

Liverpool19 · 22/01/2019 18:42

Yes I am taking him swimming also. We are on the waiting list for water babies so I can’t go until May 😳 I have a class booked for Thursday but can’t remember what 😂 x

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 18:52

@Liverpool19 can you still blame it on pregnancy brains? 🤣🤣

Fox23 · 22/01/2019 20:44

@Janefx40 any news yet? I’ve been checking mumsnet every half hour since yesterday. Seriously, I feel that every baby born on this thread is like part of my family 😊 so, here is picture of Alice

Beherenow32 · 22/01/2019 20:59

@Fox23 she is gorgeous! And looking grown up already ❤️ Excited to meet my little one now xx

Fox23 · 22/01/2019 21:10

@Beherenow32 ahhh thank you! It’s hard to believe that at her young age, every time she sees phone she starts smiling. It’s so easy to take pictures of her! And she loves it, so sometimes I just do it to stop her from crying 😂😂😂

Aliona19 · 22/01/2019 22:25

@Fox23 awww 😍😍 princess! Aren’t we make beautiful babies 🤣🤣 happy little beauty
PS I am same checking it non stop. Jane is quiet so things must b happening 🥰🥰

ButtonMooooon · 23/01/2019 14:38

Hi all

I have been lurking around for a while (and waiting for updates from Jane!) but finally feel I can join after my 12 week scan today (12+4).

Already have DS (naturally conceived in 6 months) who will be 8 in June. Finally conceived with donor egg late last year after a very long 6 year journey.

Fox23 · 23/01/2019 15:04

@ButtonMooooon welcome! And congratulations on your 12 week scan 🤗 it’s so lovely to see new people joining this thread! It must be so wonderful for your DS 😊

ButtonMooooon · 23/01/2019 15:45

@Fox23 yes he is very excited!! I have just posted the news on FB but anyone who has seen him since he found out will know anyway!!!

Janefx40 · 24/01/2019 16:22

Hi Folks. Sorry for the silence. We have our baby girl (name TBC). She turned up at 7:32pm on Tuesday night weighing 8lb 12. She's currently lying on my chest asleep on my boob (rather than feeding!) and it is heavenly.

It's been a crazy couple of days. Breastfeeding has been tricky but everything else is lovely

Have to dash. They'll never let us out of this hospital unless we find a way to prove she can feed!

Love to you all. Lovely to see Alice's face. Welcome @ButtonMooooon

Xxx
