how long after sex will a test show to say your pregnantas had light line

had sex on the early hours of thursday,took morning after pill on friday at 3.00 took a pregnanty test today and its come up a dark line then a light line in the result window i dont understand??my periods are all over the place but my last one was the 12 of may.....any idears or exprinces

I did that, said I wanted a baby, then panicked and took the MAP. Lost the baby and fell pregnant in feb.

only coz im not even due on yet but the other day i had some period pains but no period and today i was leeking abit from my nipples it was like milk as i know coz i have a little girl

V are you saying you need MAP now or at the time you needed it? If the latter then no need for an explanation I'm just curious - if you think you might be pg then taking the MAP now would not be advisable.

I'm not saying I don't sympatise but I have looked over your other threads and I along with many others would gladly help anyone in need of advice, reassurance or just a sympathetic ear(or eyes in MN case) but I wouldn't like to think I was being made an idiot out of.

went to the docs today,was sent to the hospital as she said she cant refure me to the ab clinic coz i took the morning after pill it could be a eptopic.anyway went to the hospital had pregnancy test was pos had internal scan and couldnt see any think was told its to early as it was only 2 weeks today i had unp sex.had a bllod test to see my hormones level then have to go bk friday to have it done again.if the levels are the same its a eptopic pregancy but if the levels are getting higher then its normal.

I have only ever had lovely supportive message from mumnetters, however reading some of these threads I think vvvvvv is slightly unstable other than that the most unluckiest candidate with the most full life- good luck to you vvvvvv

bluebell82 thankyou for understand everone on here thinks im not for real i dont no why? oh well i will keep you up to date.the nurse called me today and told me my hormone levels was 82 on wed took more blood today will find out on monday.cani ask something plz?? i dont really understand how i fell pregnant after takong the morning after pill the day i had sex i had period pains and sore brest was that coz i was ouvlatin?

The map doesn't always work, just as for some people taking the pill doesn't work for them. Yes period pains and tender breasts could be signs of ovulation

i just thought 13 days after sex was too soon to tell?but it is only a fain line,please tell me something the time before that was like four wks ago like a few days to a weeks after my period but he never cum in me and the only other time was 2 wks ago and he cum in me three times isit most likely to be from 2 wks as i did a test on the 13 it was neg that was like18 19 days after the sex i had four wks ago,does anyone have any idear

then obv did another test on the 19th. 13 days after intercourse and it was positive,i had a scan the other day but it showed nothng if i fell from the 4 wks ago dont you think something would of shown up on the scan like the sack at least?

all I can tell you is that I conceived about 20 days after my last period and the pregnancy test was positive a lot less than 14 days later! I only tested because I had taken the MAP but hadn't been ill with it and wanted to double check I wasn't pregnant? I was pregnant and I know for sure that is when I conceived etc - biology/pregnancy etc is more complicated that 2+2=4 I'm afraid so I'm not sure there are any definitive answers to your questions?
