Hello! Could I anxiously join please?

So got a v faint line this afternoon but AF not due until Saturday, so early days.

This will be my third pregnancy. One very healthy, gorgeous boy born in July 2017 and a MC at 10 weeks in July...

So worried something will go wrong this time .

Congrats everyone xxx

Delilah7 · 06/11/2018 06:18

@Charm23 it is a little if I'm honest :( xxx

Hi everyone I’m very new here this is my first ever post! I’m 25 years old ttc for 9 months. I’ve had two miscarriages when I was 18, they were at 7 and 6 weeks. Last cycle my day 21 bloods showed I hadn’t ovulated so doctor thinks I may have annovulation (it was the first month i tested for progesterone). However this cycle my bloods showed I defiantly had! I got a negative FR 10DPO and a negative boots the day AF was due so 14DPO. But after AF didn’t show for another 2 days I took another FR and got my BFP! However it was quite faint. I’ve since done a Superdrug test this morning but the line is very faint again and AF is overdue 6 days today so I’m nearly a 5 weeks pregnant? Why are my lines so faint? Since I miscarried early all those years ago and I’ve had trouble conceiving this year, I’m starting to think I have hormonal problems that stop the pregnancy from progressing? Doctor says I’ll have to sit tight but I’m tempted to pay for an early 6 week scan for peace of mind. Anyone have any advice/ had similar experiences? Didn’t know where else to post this as this place is so huge!

Sending you all baby dust and love x

Zcahhc6 · 06/11/2018 08:39

I should also mention I have symptoms such as nausea, sore boobs and tiredness and these have been from around day25 in the cycle (I originally thought because AF was coming which is why I know I had these!) however I have also been gettin AF like cramping and back pain just like I do a day before I’m going to start and this has been constant since the day AF was due till now. Should these subside any time soon? Sometimes the pain is sharp other times it’s there dully in the background. I feel like I’m consuming myself in stress and worry I just wish nothing goes wrong!

Charm23 · 06/11/2018 16:12

@Zcahhc6 Hey welcome. Is there any chance you're not as far along as you think? I got quite a faint line the day before AF was due and a dark line when AF was 3 days late. Try not to worry xx

Lumon · 06/11/2018 16:31

Hey guys, me again!

Right, so now I’m really confused and if I’m honest I’m also getting quite fixated on the slightest thing my body is doing.

So as advised by you lovely lot, I’ve taken a Frer today, as I had the slightest faint line on a cheap pregnancy strip I took yesterday morning. However, last night I was a little bit naughty and took one of those First Vue test as I just want to know now whether I may be pregnant or not. I’ve put a picture on of the first vue test from last night and again (I don’t know if it’s just me losing the plot) but there’s another faint line? I’ve taken the frer test today (posted pic) and it’s come back as negative. So now I feel in a right mess! Confused do I just accept the fact that I’m most probably not pregnant or do I carry on testing? My body does feel bloated and it’s difficult to breathe in? When I press in my stomach I get a dull ache sensation, my boobs aren’t as tender and my dizziness have worn off.. so maybe I just had a funny turn and it’s all coincidental? I just feel a bit stuck now and it sounds silly but I had got so worked up in my head that there was a possibility I could be pregnant. What do you guys think? Blush x

Hey can I join please? Got my BFP on a frer at 11dpo today. AF due Saturday. Going to keep testing until it's missed but frer was quite a good line.
App says I'll be due 20/07/19.
Really hoping everything progresses nicely 🤞

LouiseD2018 · 06/11/2018 22:05

Hi all, I cannot believe I'm writing this. I couldn't shake the feeling all day rushed home to test and could barely believe my eyes!!

I suffered a live ectopic pregnancy in June, lost my right tube so was starting to believe we'd never get another chance.

I'm cautiously optimistic, my symptoms are fairly strong for 4 weeks, no indication of a repeat ectopic so far.

Fingers crossed we will be welcoming our rainbow in July 2019!!

I cannot believe it, just can't stop smiling 😊

RanchoRelaxo · 07/11/2018 06:24

Sorry @Lumon I really thought you would have a line on the frer judging by that IC the other day, how many dpo are you? So sorry X

Waves to @MrsC87 nice to see you here Smile

Congratulations @LouiseD2018 that sounds awful, fingers crossed for our rainbow babies 🤞

I did another frer yesterday afternoon and the line is very almost as dark as the control line, and I got a strong line on an IC! Something which never happened last pregnancy 😁 I am 4 weeks today, still nervous but excited!

Delilah7 · 07/11/2018 06:28

@MrsC87 welcome hunny bun!!! Xx

Thank you @RanchoRelaxo & @Delilah7

Congratulations to everyone, wishing you all good luck in your pregnancies 🎉

@Lumon frer I find always comes up faint for me I say always, I've used them 2 times 10 years ago & yesterday! I'd say retest in a couple of days.

I woke up feeling very sick at around 5.30 this morning - I definitely didn't feel this sick at the 4 week mark with DD (10) so I'm taking it as a good sign for now.

I've got a hunch we will be having a boy, I knew DD was a girl from the offset just a feeling I couldn't explain, and have the same feeling now.

I was talking to OH yesterday, we would have liked to announce it over Xmas to family, but 12 week scan falls over Xmas period so I don't think we will be able to.

That said hospital did give me a number to call when I fell pregnant and said I'd come in for a 6 week scan to check everything is ok after ectopic, but I'm well aware there is still some time to go before we hit safety zone so unless I'm seriously suffering from morning sickness over Xmas I'll have to keep quiet!

I'll call hospital this week and get that booked in.

Lumon · 07/11/2018 07:22

Don’t apologise @RanchoRelaxo, it happens! With dpo, I literally don’t know my cycle at all as I haven’t had a period for years? So I don’t have a clue.. but it’s been 23 days or so since the night I missed a pill. Anyway, congratulations on your news, that’s really exciting! Grin

@LouiseD2018 all of these tests are so different aren’t they?! This is my first time I’ve genuinely thought I may be pregnant, so it’s all new to me haha. One more test at the end of the week won’t hurt I guess, just to be extra sure. Again, congrats on your news too! X

Delilah7 · 07/11/2018 07:38

@LouiseD2018 I totally understand that sick feeling. I feel sick every bloody morning and I'm only 5 weeks and a day! 😂 still seems very surreal x

ContadoraExplorer · 07/11/2018 08:43

Congratulations to all the new BFPs!

@LouiseD2018. We want to tell the family at Christmas too so going to book in a private scan (our first midwife appointment is the 20th December but the scan isn't booked until the 31st).

@ranchorelaxo it's so hard not to worry isn't it, any little twinge and all my focus goes right to it, even though it's probably only some wind Grin and i'm still tracking my temp. every morning to make sure it's still elevated... has resulted in me waking up at 1.30am, thinking its morning and sticking a thermometer in my mouth though (which inevitably wakes me up properly and means I have to pee Hmm).

@lumon going by other posts in MN, there's still a chance, especially if you've not had a period so not sure whereabouts in your cycle you would be. I was getting cramps, really sore boobs and headaches from about 4/5 DPO but, obviously due to the timing, testing negative. They subsided and I thought it had been my imagination, especially when I had period like cramps last Friday(about 10/11 DPO), which was, incidentally, the day I got my BFP. Maybe monitor your symptoms and if they're still happening, do another test.

Lumon · 07/11/2018 09:16

Hi @ContadoraExplorer, thank you for your advice. It’s really difficult for me to track my cycle, so I’ll take your advice and just monitor my symptoms. Thank you so much x

LouiseD2018 · 07/11/2018 10:17

@Vicki12389 hope it's all ok, if it becomes painful or very red I'd recommend being seen sooner, some women do bleed and are fine but always better to be safe.

Vicki12389 · 07/11/2018 10:23

Hi I've a scan booked for Friday at 10.10 been bleeding on and off for a week now today it's more watery still no pain so I'm confused

RanchoRelaxo · 07/11/2018 12:16

@Lumon ah I remember you saying you missed a pill now, that makes it more confusing! Will keep my fingers crossed for you for the end of the week

@ContadoraExplorer I don't blame you haha once you start something you don't want to stop do you, I actually don't know if I dare do another test now, I'm scared that the line will be lighter than yesterday's (that's what happened last time) maybe I will just give it a few more days first

@Vicki12389 am keeping my fingers crossed for your scan X

Hope everyone else is good :) happy hump day!

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 07/11/2018 12:23

Hey @Delilah7,

Just seen this! So pleased for you Hun, I always check up to see how your doing 😘

Sending lots of love to all of you ladies starting your journeys!! 🙌🏻❤️

Delilah7 · 07/11/2018 12:24

@SunshineAndRainbows6 hi lovely. Thank you so much. Extremely anxious but trying not to be. Got some cramps not constant though and the bad back has started! X x

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 07/11/2018 12:32

@Delilah7 Oooh bless you, well try and not panic, it's completely normal and all of the feelings your feeling are too! I'm always here if you want to chat... My backs driving me insane too, I can remember at the start having the same problems, cramps and backache 😩🤦🏻‍♀️ Super super happy for you 😍🙌🏻 22 weeks tomorrow and I already feel like a whale 🤰🏻🙊😂 Xx

Mouse14 · 07/11/2018 12:34

So a stronger line today!
Still not going to believe it though as I'm convinced it will all go wrong again...

Very weirdly, potential due date is a day after my son's! I'm already thinking how this could affect his 2nd birthday party- but I must stop!!!!! It's soooo early.

So pleased for everyone else who's had a BFP- fingers crossed for everyone who is still to test xxx
