Just found out in 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd rainbow baby. Was pregnant with 1st in August and unfortunately miscarried. Finding it hard to believe I am again and finding it hard to be positive! :(

Congratultions all on your news :)

I will be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow after a mc at 7 weeks in May....so I know how hard it can be to stay positive! Had a strong Hcg result on Wed so that's helping a bit. Due on 6th of July all going well.

Lovely to meet people in the same boat!
x

@EmmaBx I feel the same! I'm so scared. First blood test next Friday second the Friday after that. Lost first baby in August and I'm just scared x

@Delilah7 I totally know where you are coming from. I have a scan booked for 16th Nov so am trying (hoping!) to stay positive and not drive myself crazy until then ;)

Fingers crossed the blood tests go well x

Delilah7 · 02/11/2018 13:48

@EmmaBx how did you get a scan so early? I don't think midwife will let me as I've only had 1 miscarriage x x

EmmaBx · 02/11/2018 13:52

@Delilah7 I am seeing a fertility consultant privately (in Ireland) and he scans at 6.5/7 weeks...

The last time in May my hcg levels weren't rising quickly enough so hence the blood test on Wed. I could go back for a second test next week but I think I'll just wait for the scan in 2 weeks and hope that all is ok!

Delilah7 · 02/11/2018 13:58

@EmmaBx I might pay for a private if a midwife won't do it. I'll ring them after work x x

@Delilah7 If it's going to give you peace of mind it's worth it I think x

Delilah7 · 02/11/2018 14:01

@EmmaBx it will xx

@Delilah7 I've just seen the on the other thread. Congratulations! The worrying is driving me crazy, so I can't imagine how you feel after your MC. I've got everything crossed for you.
I'm tempted to have a private early scan, I'm desperate to know that everything is as it should be. This is my first pregnancy but I've had loads of gynae issues. It feels like a real miracle!

Delilah7 · 02/11/2018 15:03

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts aww, yeah it's abit hard. Was pregnant with my first in August so feels abit surreal I'm here again. I'm gonna book one privately if midwife won't give me one x x

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant too! App tells me I’m due 10th July. We had only been ttc for 1 month and it’s my first pregnancy so I feel a bit out of my depth about what should and shouldn’t be doing! I’ve made an appointment with my GP but they couldn’t see me until 16 Nov. No real symptoms yet just feeling exhausted. It’s great to meet people who are at the same stage Smile

Delilah7 · 02/11/2018 17:06

@Softkitty28 congrats! X

@Softkitty28 congratulations!

Deedeezee · 02/11/2018 17:38

Congratulations! My first too and totally feel the same way - overwhelmed is under stating it. spent loads of time with my friends who have babies (one of whom is pregnant again) today and just feel so incompetent already, I couldn't eve push the pram properly! I am so happy to be expecting but it's a lot to get my head round and as it was a bit of a surprise I think I'm just struggling to catch up with all the changes that will be happening in the next year...who knows what emotions the hormone roller-coaster will give me tomorrow though :)

Deedeezee · 02/11/2018 17:39

Congratulations to you too! Your name had made me crave donuts though ;)

bethedwards · 02/11/2018 22:13

@Delilah7 hi hun, can I pick your brains? Do you know when you start counting days past ovulation? Got my first peak on the monitor on the 30th of October. Hope you are ok. Xx

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 06:28

@Lauraliverpool hi Hun. No idea as I literally don't use anything. I just do it when I get ovulation pains and EWCM x x

Lauraliverpool · 04/11/2018 07:41

@Delilah7 thank you Hun, hopefully we baby danced at the right time the two days of peak and the day after. Will do some googling lol. Xxx
