Just found out in 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd rainbow baby. Was pregnant with 1st in August and unfortunately miscarried. Finding it hard to believe I am again and finding it hard to be positive! :(

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining too!

First baby at 34, TTC seriously for 5 months and got my BFP on Friday. Due 15th July according to the app and have an appointment with my GP tomorrow.

Been feeling pretty tired for a couple of weeks, constantly thirsty (so peeing all the time) and boobs killing me but only really feel nauseous if I haven't eaten so just making sure I don't leave it too long between eating.

Congratulations to everyone! 😊

@ContadoraExplorer welcome and congrats! ❤️

@ContadoraExplorer
I found out on Thursday, my 33rd birthday! My first too. Can't get a GP appointment until Friday though. Trying very hard not to get carried away with excitement.

ContadoraExplorer · 04/11/2018 10:04

Thanks @delilah7 congratulations to you too. I know after what you've been through it will be even more of a worry but hopefully this will be a nice positive thread for us all and we can keep each other going!

@auntmarch congratulations to you! What a lovely birthday present! I was surprised about how quickly I got one; I called fully expecting it to be a week or so down the line. Hopefully this week will fly for you!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 10:05

@ContadoraExplorer I hope so. I just say I've got big boobs but my boobs are SO SORE. x

Hi all, I just found out on Friday that I'm pregnant with our first! I think I'm due 2nd July, going by a couple of apps I've downloaded.
We've been getting lots of tests done because I have PCOS and this was actually our first month properly trying so it's not quite sinking in yet! Haven't spoken to a GP yet, going to phone tomorrow to make an appointment. I don't know what to expect and am rubbish at secrets so I'm already dying to tell people!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 14:00

@cathyj87 congratulations!! Xx

Congratulations @cathyj87!

@delilah7 my boobs have been so sore that I bought a sleep bra and it's amazing! Wore it for vegging on the sofa with a film last night and no underwire digging in issues - bliss! Highly recommend!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 17:45

@ContadoraExplorer where did you get it from?!? Xxx

EmmaBx · 04/11/2018 17:58

@ContadoraExplorer great idea! And congrats by the way Grin

ContadoraExplorer · 04/11/2018 17:59

@delilah7 Got it from Bravissimo. I noticed that Mothercare also have them although not sure what sizes they'll go up to!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 18:01

@ContadoraExplorer I'll need an over shoulder boulder holder!! I'm a G already, so god knows hahaha

ContadoraExplorer · 04/11/2018 18:02

Thanks @EmmaBx Congratulations to you too! Honestly, I'll be wearing the sleep bra well after my pregnancy ends, it's a revelation!

ContadoraExplorer · 04/11/2018 18:03

@delilah7 H or HH depending on the brand and bra. Bravissimo is a life saver!!

ContadoraExplorer · 04/11/2018 18:05

I would note that the bra is not flattering in any way but I definitely don't care!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 18:06

I'm so worried. Used bio oil twice this week then looked on bottle and read up about how it's not safe in first trimester due to brain damage and birth defects!!!!! Now shitting myself. Already had one MC don't want something else popping up!!!

I'm sure a couple of times won't do any harm. Obviously don't use again and for your own peace of mind, maybe check with your doc or midwife x

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 18:09

@ContadoraExplorer think I will! X x

Hi can I join in please, I know @delilah7 from other threads but hi to everyone else :)
Am pregnant but very early with my 1st, after a MC last month, due sometime around the middle of July, am feeling very tired and my boobs are killing me but apart from that I'm just excited and nervous!

Delilah7 · 04/11/2018 20:16

@RanchoRelaxo hey my lovely x x

I've managed not to blurt it out so far but have realised that I think my due date is when OH is meant to be in Germany and I am supposed to be keeping free to go away with my mum for her hen - I'm going to have to tell her before we book anything lol (OH is already booked but would only lose flight money, so that can be a last minute call lol)

HayleyHaystack · 04/11/2018 21:56

Me 👋🏼 I’m 5 weeks pregnant with my first. I’m ignoring all the symptoms and trying to go on as normal. I naturally miscarried in April at almost 9 weeks - the day after a private early scan where I had a heartbeat but quite a slow one. Knocked me for six for a good few months so I’m taking this day by day, week by week and will have another early scan when I get to 8 weeks. Wishing everyone happy healthy pregnancies x

HayleyHaystack · 04/11/2018 21:58

Oh, EDD is 4th July x

Charm23 · 04/11/2018 22:48

Hey ladies. I know @Delilah7 from another thread but pleased to see so many others have got their BFP recently! Lots of July babies on the way! We found out on Halloween with quite a faint line on an Asda cheapy but did another test tonight with FR Rapid Detection and got a strong dark line very quickly so I'm feeling good about that! Due date calculators estimate 10-11th July for me, can't wait! And yes I'm feeling bloated and constantly hungry! Not had any strong nausea yet but general feel 'different' lol I'm planning on making a doctor's appointment tomorrow and NOT looking forward to blood tests :(

Delilah7 · 05/11/2018 06:20

@AuntMarch well done for not blurting it out yet Hun 😂 xx

@HayleyHaystack I can completely relate Hun. Congratulations. I'm trying to be normal too. Very hard not worrying xx

@Charm23 hello you ❤️
