Hey girls, couldn't see a thread for mums due in October so thought I'd start one as it's October tomorrow!! Anyone had their baby yet or due due soon? I'm due on 17th can't work out if he'll be late or early 😓

Congratulations That's great news!! Im still suffering with this cold, now turned into sinusitis 😱 really painful face and cant breathe 😟 39 weeks tomorrow and counting! x

Just been for my scan, baby is in right position reason she couldn’t feel his head is because he’s engaged so I guess it’s a waiting game now? Probably explains why it hurts to walk 😂

Is anyone having period like pains? I’ve been having them since about 6/7 last night but more constant than coming and going.

This morning I had contractions which went from 20 mins 45 seconds long to 9 minutes lasting 1-30 minute for 4 hours I rang labour ward they said to go in when they get every 5 minutes. I heard a massive pop but my waters didn't go. After 5 hours they have now stopped?? What is going on? Will they start again xx

Possibly Sophwalms, I had that with both my DDs! 3 nights with DD1 and 1 night with DD2. Sweeps then properly started labour both times.

Hi everyone can I join please 😊 I’m due 28th October. I was having a few cramps and tightening last weekend, but nothing since Tuesday. Had my flu jab on Monday and now have a horrible cough and sore throat, anyone else had this? I hope I’m not getting a cold! Just want my baby here now! Xx

@sophwalms any progress? Same thing has happened to me! Had regular tightenings every 20 minutes on Tuesday night so got all excited as they were different from BH. Stopped in the night but then started next morning every 10 minutes like clockwork. By the afternoon they had just stopped. That evening had a tiny bit of bloody mucus so convinced I was dialting but NOTHING since then!!! Feel really period crampy all day and all night since Wednesday but that's all!!!!

It's so frustrating isn't it!!! My hubby started pat leave too as I was convinced it was happening and now I'm stressed I'm heading toward induction. I'm 40 +1 And going for a sweep in an hour. Please please PLEASE work!!!!!!

@yerp sorry you feel like crap I'm just getting over a bad cold. All I can say is that if you do go into labour you will forget about your cold pretty quickly trust me!!!

@AurorasEncore no nothing more has happened! I'm so fed up so I'm having a hot curry and a bath with clary sage oil as that what broke my waters last time with my first baby. So fingers crossed your sweep works! Xx

Sweep was ok actually not as bad as I anticipated. MW said i was very favourable as I was already 1.5cm and 50% effaced and she could easily stretch to 3cm. Afterwards walking to the car i felt like i was going to be sick but that's passed now and i feel really spaced out - hope it's all the newly released hormones!

Off to bed for an early night and I feel so so crampy I can barely walk so it's definitely changed something. Hopefully contractions begin tonight if not I'm having another on Sunday.

I’m due 31st with a boy too! Have one more week left working then can relax. Have been feeling really achy all day yesterday and today woken up no better, maybe he is moving down and everything is shifting! X

I've had cramping feelings and a few tightening that don't feel like BH for the last 48 hours but completely sporadically! I definitely think my bump is lower today though so fingers crossed it won't be long. I was 38 weeks exactly when I had my DS and I'm now 38 +6 with this one so really hope it doesn't go much longer! I'm in so much discomfort with pelvic pain and bach ache! Congratulations @tilliebean !

Hi, I'm due 26th October with number 3. Had 1 night of definite contractions on Thursday and was on the toilet all night, but nothing since then at all.

I'm still working til next Friday so hoping the time flies, but I'm so preoccupied with the idea of going into labour at any time that I'm sure I'm less than useless!

Hi everyone. My son was born at 10:56 by planned caesarean section weighing 8lbs 8oz he is a beautiful healthy little boy. Even after my section this morning I am up and about! Very happy ftm here xx

We had a little girl at 9:30 last night (39+1 weeks) after a super quick labour (3.5 hours start to finish) and planned homebirth. We only just got the birth pool filled up in time! We're all doing well.

Due date tomorrow and feel like it's not going to happen 😖😖😖😖

Officially overdue now and fed up. Come on baby!

Baby boy born one day early yesterday. Very tired but all doing well. Good luck everyone!
