I lose respect for any woman who makes no good attempt to stop smoking during pregnancy , an acquaintance has smoked all throughout her pregnancy and it drives me mad , she has made no attempt to stop as it will stress her out . Should be made illegal

I get what you are saying, OP, I am not sure I would have put it in terms of respect, but I do think that if a pregnant friend told me that they were making no attempt to stop or reduce smoking when pregnant, I would probably reconsider the friendship and wonder why we were friends with such different values.

This is a post to tell pregnant mothers who smoke to actually STOP or try to because it's wrong . Too many mothers get the message it's ok but it's not . People need to de-stress in healthier less selfish ways . It's disgusting
