We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

There are some awful bugs going around, I had one last Monday, it was like a 12 hour thing and started as soon as I woke up, thought it was really bad MS until the Diarrhea started. Luckily I hadn’t eaten anything so I was just fetching up bile and water. Poor DD started Monday night, she was sick 3 or 4 times after having her tea (she refuses to eat baked beans now!!) she was minus the diarrhea though. Thought it was miraculous how OH had escaped it but ast night he started complaining of an upset stomach, bloating and the worst farts I’ve ever smelled! He hasn’t actually been sick but it’s a wonder! It’s absolutely the last thing you need while pregnant!

Hi All,
So excited. Got my bfp this morning. Hubby and I over the moon - perfect timing on our anniversary. Was a surprise as I’ve had medical complications in the past, and had been told we’d probably need IVF. So we were duely working our way through another year of dtd to try to convince nhs funds :-) kind of in disbelief. Hoping luck continues to be on our side (and everyone’s). Think I’m 4+6, due June 28th....For those that have bugs, hope you feel better soon!

ProseccoBee · 22/10/2018 12:10

Hi everyone can I join in? Im 31 and got my BFP on Friday. Early days yet and I think our EDD will be June 29th. This will be our first baby and we’re so over the moon but nervous at the same time. Symptoms so far have been a ridiculously good sense of smell and overwhelming tiredness.

Greggers2017 · 22/10/2018 12:24

Congratulations @ProseccoBee and @Hopefulirishmammy

Jothrn1611 · 23/10/2018 13:10

Hi everyone 😊 Congratulations to all and I hope everyone is well! Please could I join? I got my BFP on Sunday so it’s early days, my partner and I are absolutely over the moon, this will be our first baby. ❤️

carlyb · 23/10/2018 21:36

So happy to see lots of newbies!!

I have my midwife appointment today...had a cry talking about 12 week scan as had a mmc this time last year! Feeling much more positive tonight though!! Rainbow baby and can't wait for he or she to arrive in June

PinkDaffodil2 · 24/10/2018 09:16

Hi all! I’m due 30th of June, can I join in? First pregnancy, I’m just waking around in a happy daze with sore boobs! Xx

Rors · 24/10/2018 13:03

Hi All, can I join? I am 31 and had my bfp last Wednesday. I still don't really believe it after 11 months of trying and never a hint before! Due date will be 30th June if all goes well. Think I will have a private early scan as I am convinced something is going to go wrong.. has anyone else had one?

PinkDaffodil2 · 24/10/2018 14:15

Hi Rors - I’m going to be seeing a lot of family when I’m about 11 weeks, so I might get a private scan around 9 weeks just so I’m happy telling people a bit early. There’s no way everyone won’t guess anyway at Christmas!

Jothrn1611 · 24/10/2018 16:23

Hi again, hope everyone is well today! Congratulations to everyone 😊 I agree with the walking around in a happy daze with sore boobs PinkDaffodil! I have booked a private early scan for 7th Nov when I think I will be 6+5, I know it’s still early days but I am feeling a bit anxious that I haven’t got any appointments with doctors/midwife booked yet so thought having that booked in would give me something to focus on. I rang the doctors and they said to self refer to the midwife, which I have but haven’t heard back yet, they said it would be about a week though. Don’t know if it’s the same for everyone else? X

Squiff70 · 24/10/2018 18:56

Evening all,

It's so great to hear from you other June mums-to-be so congratulations to you all!

I'm 8+1 and have an NHS scan at 9 weeks (next Wednesday) because I have a complex and life-threatening medical history (less than a year ago I was in n induced come and on life support). I'm seeing the midwife for my booking appointment on 7th November when I'll be 10+1. I'm hoping for another scan at 12 weeks but not holding my breath.

Jothrn1611, there's no immediate rush for you to see the midwife although I agree the wait can be excruciating at times. They will usually see you for the first time between 8 & 10 weeks. Don't worry, they'll be in touch but good luck with your scan and enjoy it!

Swisbest2 · 24/10/2018 21:46

Having like electric shock like pains in boobs tonight and really itchy but when i itch it hurts and i feel sick again but am still eating 2 yoghurts 😂

Gasa · 24/10/2018 22:44

Hello everyone it's great to read all the posts. I'm due in June too. Cannot really believe it apart from I feel ropey as anything. Xx

ProseccoBee · 26/10/2018 10:25

How’s everyone doing today? I’m really grouchy as I absolutely love my sleep normally and now I literally can not sleep. It takes me ages to get to sleep and then I wake up at seven am on my week off and normally I’d be there until eleven! I hope it’s a passing phase or else I’ll be wicked by the time baby comes. I haven’t rang the doctors yet keep thinking it’s to early and I am also convinced something will go wrong even though I have no grounds to think that other than being a stress head. I’ll be six weeks Monday so I’m going to ring then. It’s also killing me not telling anyone yet but I want to wait a little longer before I say anything. Although I have been browsing Pinterest and mamas and papas to entertain myself.

Spargle · 26/10/2018 10:46

Hello, ProseccoBee!

I’ll be six weeks on Sunday, so we’re quite close to each other!

I seem to be getting to sleep as well as usual, but I’m waking up quite early. Asleep not long after 10 last night (unheard of for me!), but awake before 7 this morning. At least I’d managed my 8 hours by that time, so not getting back to sleep didn’t matter!

I spoke to the doctors’ receptionist on Monday and got my booking in appointment arranged. It’s on 6th December, so I’ll be 11+4 at that point. The local midwives said it’s fine - the 12-week scan can apparently be done up to 14 weeks, and they’ll just book me down as urgent. Neat solution. 🙃

It is all a bit worrying. I think things are probably going very well (I feel rough in a small variety of ways), although the return of the cramping is a bit unwelcome! It’s a bit difficult not knowing anything. I remind myself that the most likely outcome of getting pregnant is a healthy baby, but I am impatient for my first scan and some reassurance!

DoveGreylove · 26/10/2018 14:53

Hi Ladies,
How are you all doing?
I am due at the very end of June.Very excited but also very scared. I have no idea if what I'm feeling and experiencing is normal so I'm finding it a little stressful... I have the paranoia that I may lose it which is really not good for me! Trying to stay positive and enjoy this.
I am also going on holiday next week - eek!I hope I'll be ok flying...

Gasa · 26/10/2018 15:07

@dovegreylove snap Smile we are due at the 26 th of June and we fly to Canada tomorrow eek. I'm really bad in the mornings but just pray I can make it through the flight. Totally get where you are coming from knowing what's normal and not is so hard Grin xx

DoveGreylove · 26/10/2018 15:51

@Gasa congratulations :) I am due 30th June.

We fly to HK, so a long flight... Ive done my research and it appears there is no danger flying in early pregnancy it is just that the miscarriage rate is obviously higher in the first 12 weeks and it's a matter of if I am comfortable being in a different country if it were too happen.

I hope you have a lovely holiday! Thinking positively - a holiday is just what we need to help speed along the time for our first scans! x

Nillynally · 26/10/2018 15:56

Hello everyone! I'm currently 9 weeks 1 day with baby number 1 and although I've had a private scan already and have my 12 weeks booked in I still have not heard from the midwife. Is this normal? Was my booking app would have been this week as it's half term but she hasn't contacted me. Also the maternity unit at the hospital are impossible to get hold of! What's everyone else's experiences?

I'm 6 weeks + 1 and currently sitting in Hawaii on honeymoon having flown 10 and a half hours to San Francisco and a further 5 to here last night, it was no where near as bad as I thought! I got the compression socks and would definitely recommend them for DVT prevention. Also found these little travel sick/morning sickness bands for your wrists in Boots which may be worth a go? I've had nausea and a bit of wretching where nothing has come up but wore those on the flight and was grand, they were £7. Go and enjoy your holidays folks! 😁

Gasa · 26/10/2018 17:21

Smile whoop whoop enjoy your honeymoon sounds fab. I have the bracelets the socks and snacks hopefully it will all be cool.
