We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

@Gasa thank you! 😂 How could I forget the snacks, so important!! I munched my way through a big tube of pringles on flight one 🙈

HVWhite · 26/10/2018 19:16

Hi All,

We're expecting our first on 28th June next year, found out a week ago. Never been pregnant before and feels weird that there are no symptoms apart from my boob's wanting to fall off haha. Was expecting a dramatic influx of nausea and tiredness haha!
Anyone else worry everyday that they're not pregnant? I keep panicking as there's nothing happening! Haha Can't wait to feel a range of symptoms. We're so excited to be first time parents, it's very overwhelming and don't really know where to start with information!x

Nillynally · 26/10/2018 19:33

Congratulations @HVWhite I was exactly like you 4 weeks ago, just sore boobs. Now I feel permanently hungover and totally useless! Boobs have eased a little though! Grin

@Nillynally I thought pmt boobs were bad, I think mine might fall off 😂 I'm useless with a hangover so I'll probably just enjoy this period then haha x congratulations to you too!

Swisbest2 · 26/10/2018 20:57

Ill def be trying those bands! Working on my feet ten hour days feeling like this is making me a nightmare to be around

curlypasta · 27/10/2018 00:48

i'm on nights. it sucks. all i want to do is eat cheese and vinegar and salt!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 27/10/2018 06:39

Anyone else getting annoying lower back ache?

Swisbest2 · 27/10/2018 07:12

@curlypasta oh my god that must suck 😣
@iswallowtoothpaste on and off but might be the severe constipation lol

Worried that although im very close to sick all day im not actualy sick anybody else?

curlypasta · 27/10/2018 07:26

@swisbest12 it wasn’t too bad, in bed now Grin

PinkDaffodil2 · 27/10/2018 08:43

HVWhite my boobs are crazy too - none of the rest has kicked in yet (not looking forward to the sickness and tiredness). They’re just really sore, like waking me up in the night sore. Have you found anything that helps? I also am down to one bra that fits, but I don’t know how long they’ll stay this big for. They used to get bigger and sore for pretty much the whole lutea phase but this is on a other level.

GlamourBear · 27/10/2018 09:13

@swisbest12 yep I've been feeling like that. On the verge of throwing up but not actually being sick most days. I was sick twice yesterday though....it's hot and miss!

HVWhite · 27/10/2018 12:59

@PinkDaffodil2 I find a sports bra has helped but this isn't ideal in every outfit haha. I'm down to one normal bra too, all too small already!! Wakes me up too x

Swisbest2 · 27/10/2018 14:00

Im considering bandaging them down 😂

@glamourbear its horrible isnt it im getting that travel sick pit of stomach feeling frkm middle of night wee til about 11 then in thelate afternoon- evening when i get a horrible taste in my miuth

WeeBean · 27/10/2018 17:43

I didn't know it was possible for my boobs to hurt so much! It's worst in the evening when I take my bra off.

I've only been sick once but I regularly get the feeling like I might be sick, so much so that I go to the bathroom but only wretch really.

And I've got the lower back pain too, yay!

Swisbest2 · 27/10/2018 19:08

So glamorous lol @weebean i feel like its worse because i cant actually be sick to relieve it. so tired all the time too just want to hibernate

WeeBean · 27/10/2018 21:30

@Swisbest2 oh it's all glamour!! Actually managed to be sick this morning and then had a tiny bit of brown discharge when I wiped after a pee (TMI sorry) panic insued but Google seems to think it's normal. I so wish I could tell friends, I've a few who have small babies and I feel like talking to them would put my mind at ease a bit more. All seems fine now though.

Swisbest2 · 27/10/2018 22:07

@weebean i know what you mean worrying constantly. Brown is fine thiugh i tjink

Greggers2017 · 27/10/2018 23:24

Are anybody else's boobs bigger than normal?
My boobs have gone firmer and are bulging out my bra! 🙈
Also anybody else's peeing ridiculous amounts? 6 times I went last night and I hardly had anything to drink all evening 🙄

Squiff70 · 28/10/2018 00:04

Greggers2017, yup! Large, sore breasts (gone up nearly 2 cup sizes already) and weeing constantly.

It's really, really important you keep up hydration even though weeing all the time is a pain in the neck.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 28/10/2018 03:11

I’m really worried. Still got this backache and symptoms seem to have gone

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 07:21

Morning ladies - mind if I join?
I found out just over a week ago that our second cycle of IVF has been successful and I am currently 5+3 with our first, due June 27th. I think it’s still sinking in to be honest and the anxiety of constantly wondering if everything is stil ok is pretty draining, especially as I came down with OHSS following the IVF drugs so am feeling pretty terrible most of the time. Been having lots of symptoms but they are a bit on and off - is this normal?

carlyb · 28/10/2018 09:38

Hi all

@CritterTamer congratulations!!!! My symptoms come and go...I have more like waves of symptoms but always tired! I am now 9 weeks and had a missed miscarriage last year so I know how you feel with worrying!

I have just booked in my early scan for this coming Friday! So nervous but hoping to see that heartbeat fluttering away!
X

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 10:18

@Carlyb thanks, and congratulations! It’s nice to hear that symptoms being on and off is normal 😁 Good luck with your scan on Friday - mine is the following Monday and I’m already really nervous. Hoping to find out whether or not we have twins! My doctor thinks it’s likely as I ha£ a very high beta HCG 9 days after embryo transfer but will just have to wait and see 🤞

carlyb · 28/10/2018 10:22

@CritterTamer amazing..let us know how your scan goes and if it is one or two little babies! How exciting xx

Squiff70 · 28/10/2018 10:41

@CritterTamer - a huge congratulations to you and your partner. Now try to relax a little (easier said than done, I know). I found out at 2-3 weeks and m nearly 9 weeks and the shock still hasn't worn off even though we were trying :D
