We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

Congratulations everyone with BFP!!

I was due AF on the 11th according to Flo but I'm nearly always a day late, by the time I left work on the 12th there was nothing, which is very unusual. Went home and tested and got a BFP!! Waited til my OH got home and surprised him then we went and got two more tests, both BFP! We started trying last month thinking it could take us a while so I wasn't really expecting this but had a niggling suspicion something was going on as I'd had what I thought might be implantation pains in work a couple of weeks ago along with a little bit of nausea and some dull pains in my abdomen.

I'm 5+3 according to my Flo app so due mid June. The nausea is getting a bit worse, I've got a proper pulling crampy feeling in my abdomen too, feels like someone is kneading a loaf of bread in there!

We're away until Wednesday, get married on Sunday and then head away on honeymoon for 2 and a half weeks next Tuesday so it's all go but I'm going to phone my doctor tomorrow and see what I need to do next, I've no idea about appointments etc. I can't wait to get to the doctor for confirmation, trying not to get too excited in the meantime.

The biggest task is keeping it secret, people will definitely notice I'm not drinking while we're away and at the wedding 🙈

jacquejacque · 14/10/2018 11:53

@WeeBean congratulations! I'm 5+3 today too. So exciting about your wedding, can you maybe call the venue in advance and ask them to make sure you've always got a champagne flute full of appletiser in your hand?

hansimju44 · 14/10/2018 12:29

I’ve not really had many symptoms at all tbh! Very bloated after eating and the odd cramp but not overly tired yet, boobs are fine, no nausea...Last time I got to 7 weeks 5 days with no symptoms either..I’m kinda hoping I get a few this time, although sure I’ll regret saying that if I do! My partner and I have discussed going for an early scan on 4th November. I’ll be exactly as far along as when I had the mc last time so will be amazing if we see a heartbeat this time. I know it doesn’t mean we’re safe but I do think it will help reduce the anxiety a little, and we are definitely far too impatient to wait until 12 weeks! Smile

WeeBean · 14/10/2018 13:34

@jacquejacque yay!! Congratulations!! That's a good idea, I'll do that! It's so good to have people on here to discuss this with, it's killing me not telling anyone!

jacquejacque · 14/10/2018 13:52

And - if anyone offers to buy you a drink you should smile conspiratorially and say "between me and you, I'd love a lemonade, these bubbles are starting to go to my head and I'd hate to not remember my day/be ill/ have to leave early!" Grin

WeeBean · 14/10/2018 14:17

@jacquejacque 😂😂😂 I like you're thinking!!

Swisbest2 · 14/10/2018 14:27

Congratulations to the new members 😊😊

Mrskaykay · 14/10/2018 16:43

Congratulations to all the June 2019 mums-to-be!

I found out yesterday that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Been trying for few months. It hasn't hit me yet coz I have always thought I'll be too scared to go through this.

Is it normal to feel scared and unsure about being able to do this? I have always heard how woman "love being pregnant" but I'm not sure as I am too fearful of the body changes

Swisbest2 · 14/10/2018 17:55

@ansimju44 thats lucky. I am feeling it this time. Ive turned into a real bitch too hahaha but tbf ive also been waking up at 2am desperate for a wee and then lying there for an hour trying to fall back asleep whilst feeling like im gonna be sick lol.

Jadek96 · 14/10/2018 18:48

Congratulations!! I’m due June 11th 2019 x

Swisbest2 · 14/10/2018 21:06

Congratulationa @jadek96 😁

lstef · 14/10/2018 22:51

Hey ladies! :)
Congratulations all on your BFPs and sending positive vibes to those who have had MCs.

I tested positive last Sunday and Natural Cycles tells me I'm 5 weeks today, due 17th June (NHS site says 15th). Thinking I should test again cos only tested once! totally doesnt feel real yet!

First pregnancy and second cycle TTC - didn't expect it to happen so quickly but have been tracking my cycles for a year so I knew when to expect ov.

Had some weird pulling cramps on and off and a travel sickness type nausea a couple of times, boobs sore as hell! Also super tired and have had some long naps in the afternoons this week.

Got my midwife appt on 30th, taking each day as it comes at the mo - not feeling excited as such yet cos its so surreal, keep saying "hopefully, maybe, baby in June".

All the best to you all! 😀

Swisbest2 · 15/10/2018 06:46

Ah thats so nice @istef congratulations 😁

WeeBean · 15/10/2018 10:56

Is it normal for symptoms to come and go? I've felt a bit rubbish the last two days with a bit of nausea and pulling cramps but today I haven't really had anything and feel good, apart from the worry that feeling good is actually a bad thing 🙄 this is all so confusing!

curlypasta · 15/10/2018 11:14

I still don’t have any symptoms but I didn’t with my last 2 either so apart from being massively bloated - I look 5 months already- everything’s just normal! Quite disconcerting

lstef · 15/10/2018 11:53

@WeeBean I hope it's normal for things to fluctuate, I had a day or so of more cramping on Sunday but haven't felt it today- waiting to see if a pattern emerges, e.g if I feel more nauseous in the afternoons or if I'm hungry or tired.

Tested again this morning and got a stronger line than last week so I guess it's progressing if I have more hcg.

Eeek!

WeeBean · 15/10/2018 12:49

@Istef well that sounds good!! I just wish I knew what to expect!

Grainedesesame · 15/10/2018 14:03

Congratulations to you @istef

I have found out that I was pregnant last Monday. I am due 19th June and it all seems very surreal. It's our first baby and came as a lovely surprise.

We are over the moon. I have surprised myself becoming a bit worry when pregnancy symptom go quiet. The time seems to go very slowly since last week. I have been reading so many books, forum and everything I else could. Maybe need to chill out and stop being so desperately excited about the idea of becoming a mum for the first time.

How do you go through the weeks with all this excitement?

Squiff70 · 15/10/2018 20:02

A huge congratulations to all you ladies and your partners - it's so exciting, isn't it?

Have any of you told family yet? I'm only 7 weeks tomorrow (16th Oct) but we told our parents this weekend. Partly beause my parents live in France and they were over for a few days and we wanted to tell them in person. As they were leaving today they offered to pay for the pram AND the cot Shock. We rang my partner's parents via Facetime yesterday and they were thrilled. It's all so much to take in!

annihall · 16/10/2018 06:36

We're trying to keep it a secret until Christmas. My family is coming over from Germany and we will all have a big family Christmas with mine and my husband's family in our new house, so would be the perfect time to tell everyone. Just hoping we can keep it a secret for that long haha

WeeBean · 16/10/2018 07:31

We're trying to keep it a secret until we've had a scan, can't wait to tell our folks though! We're in Sarajevo atm for the NI game and usually I drink like a fish, we've had a couple of friends ask the question already and have had to flat out deny it but they know rightly 🙄

Symptoms came back with a vengeance last night and I felt awful, oddly reassuring though!

How is everyone else feeling?

Swisbest2 · 16/10/2018 07:48

Driving myself a bit crazy today after good 6 week scan am now convincing myself that next scan will show nothing. After having mmc in june feel like i cant trust my body 😐 it was 5 weeks before i eventually miscarried and it was traumatic

rosti · 16/10/2018 10:04

Hello all, just got my BFP (14 dpo, AF due today). LMP 19th September so due date looks to be around 26th June 2019. It's my day off so I'm just going to sit and process this and then tell DH tonight. I checked and there are no GP appointment for weeks so I'm going to call tomorrow morning and see if they'll fit me in. I have some health issues so I imagine they'll want to chat.

Swisbest2 · 16/10/2018 13:51

Hahaha @weebean ive gone with the whole stoptober thing for a min though they did wonder why i stopped weekend before (when i got bfp) x

gemmaaaxxx · 16/10/2018 14:35

I'm due 15th June 2019
