First baby due June 2019!

We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

I found out about 10 days ago that I'm pregnant with my first baby. My husband and me were very surprised as it happened within the first month of ttc, but both very happy and excited!! :)
Due date should be around 4th of June if I got my ovulation right, according to last period it'd be 31st May but had very irregular and rather long cycles so can't really tell.
Will I have to wait for the 12 week scan to know a due date or will the midwife be able to tell before?

@annihall - I'm also 6 weeks +2 with my first baby and also due on or around 4th June. Like you, we got incredibly lucky and I got pregnant after the first month of TTC - I'd only been off BC for a few weeks :O

Are you experiencing any nausea or sickness yet? i get small waves of nausea but they pass. I'm not luring myself into a false sense of security that I don't get the works!

@Squiff70 yes unfortunately nausea and sickness have started a few days ago now, but it's not too bad really and passes rather quickly, hope it'll stay like this haha. Just struggling when it hits me at work as I haven't told anyone yet and don't intend to tell work anytime soon...
Have you had your midwife appointment yet or know a date for your scan? My appointment is on the 23rd and time seems to go sooo slowly ;)

I found out last week that I am pregnant! After a very long 5 years! I suffer with pcos.. so I honestly didn’t think it would ever happen.. so it was a complete surprise.. my last period was the 26 aug.. so I i gather I am due in June! I have 1st midwife app on Wednesday! What do I expect?
So nervous! Every time I go to the toilet I am looking for blood 😪no symptoms! As yet x 5 pregnancy tests tho 🤣

Anybody had a scan yet. Got mine in morning because of the 2 mcs and im beside myself with worry 😔

Hi ladies, so I should have been due on between Monday and Wednesday. Only BD twice last month and was sure had missed ovulation. First month of stopping my pill in prep for TTC from December. Well I took a test Monday which was negative still hasn’t come on yesterday so took one and got the faintest positive line. Went and bought another and tested with flu again very faint but darker than the first. Took another Superdrug test this afternoon and another faint line. My worry is it being faint. It also didn’t appear straight away. It came up within a mi hate but my previous pregnancies I have had a super strong positive that showed before the control like had even appeared testing before AF was due. I am testing after AF is due and it’s so faint. Worried about a chemical pregnancy. Only hope I’m holding onto is that hcg must have increased to go from a negative on monday to now faint positive. Anyone else have a faint like day AF was due?

@Swisbest2 I had a scan on Tuesday. Not really much to see yet but she said it's going the way it's supposed to and somethings to look out for.

However bloating a bit of cramping and bright red spotting today. So not feeling too positive. 😩

@Swisbest2...I also had a mmc in June this year (a few days away from my 12 week scan) and just got my BFP a few days ago Was not expecting it to happen that quickly! How are you feeling this time round? I'm trying my best to be positive and feel excited but it's so hard not to worry after the mmc last time. I'm due around June 15th :) Are you going to book an early scan?

If anyone has attended an early reassurance scan - did you find this helped with the worrying/anxiety or not?

@hansimju44 it helped on the day a lot was nice to see something, but back to worrying after that 🙈 but I'm a natural worrier.

Hey @hansimju44 congratulations 😊yeah im just trying to relax tknight what will be will be. Just kind of expect the eorst eith everything tbh so havemt got excuted or anything really. 1st pregnancy there was so much joy and was over the moon then after losing it and then the mmc in june i just feel a bit brolen by it all feel like a machine. Its cruel really.

@cancelledstamp my sister bled like a period throught her pregnancy with her 5th child and all was perfect. Also if the nurse said all is well youve got to trust i guess. Theyre the professionals. Im pretty sure ive read that they look for signs of impending mc on scan? Hope youre ok x

@clairew1923 maybe you implanted late or you have a short luteal phase? It takes 7/10 days to implant and 2-3 days after for positive test so thats quite a lot of time?

I took a clear blue digital which came up as 2-3 weeks which I was surprised by since I keep getting a faint line

First time commenting on here 😊

First pregnancy so everything is so new to me. I was due AF yesterday and no sign, I tested Wednesday morning and got a clear line. I will wait to make sure AF does not arrive this weekend and then will book a doctors appointment for next week. It’s so exciting! How are you working out your due dates?

Literally just had my scan waiting for consultation. Was bit down becausr coyldnt ser anything on trans. Then did internal and big yolk and pole and heartbeat flickering away i cried. Notnout the woods yet though gotta just takr it as a step further i guess. I said ive never seen anything in it before 🤗🤗

@Swisbest2 that’s fantastic! They usually have to do an internal scan at this stage but will always try an external first. It’s awul when they go and ask you to empty your bladder so they can do an internal though and you have that time in the toilet for the panic to set in!!

I know walking past all the faces thinking again im going back for them to poke around aimlessly but oh my god i cried instantly when i saw the heartbeating never seen that before its amazing

Also i was told before pregnancy next time ill habe 6 8 and 12 week scan but she said theres no nees so just 12 week. Is that a good thing? 6 weeks of worry and losing my mind everytime i use the bathrrkm or feel better yay!

Thanks @hansimju44 how are you feeling? Im very tired in afternoons and very nauseous from about 2am to about noon when i can stomach something then just eating like a horse and still constipated. Oh and boobs are v painful. Im deliberati g on whether i can get through o 12 weeks without maybe booking a private scan cos although first mc was textbook 2nd mmc was just awful. What are you going to do?

hello! af was due 3 days ago, and nothing yet, but i'm too scared to test! i have to wait, i might jinx it otherwise
but fingers crossed theres a sticky bean in there and it'll be number 3 for us. no symptoms yet which is the real reason im putting off Testing, may just be a late af!

Hello poas today got feint +ve went got first response another feint +ve. Only had coil removed 3 ish wks ago.... No idea cycle but as last period started 14 sep I assume I'm around 4wk so due 21st June! Have 3 girls from prev rel. Hoping for a sticky one x
