We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

Test was much darker than ccontrol on checp dipstrip yest but bit lighter this morning after we found out last my kitten hit by a car 😔 worried now x

jacquejacque · 07/10/2018 19:50

@Swisbest2 I'm so sorry to hear about your kitten and the fact your line was fainter. Hoping it's down to urine dilution or is just a blip. Thanks

TMI Alert

Hey all, just a quick question has anyone been suffering with diarrhoea?

I’ve no symptoms apart from nipples as hard as icebergs constantly and diarrhoea. Wondering if it’s something I ate or actually a symptom?

Swisbest2 · 08/10/2018 08:48

Opposite for me im afraid feel about a stone heavier. Had it at beginning of 2nd pregnancy though just before bfp. Sick as a dog this morning and my colleagues have noticed 😩

Swisbest2 · 08/10/2018 10:24

Thankyou @jacquejacque only time will tell i guess. Hoping for some good luck its been a really shit couple of years

jacquejacque · 08/10/2018 10:30

@Tryingtoswallow101 me! I swing between constipation and the run at the moment - tres attractive and only one month in!

@Swisbest2 Bless you my love: the sickness is a good sign, if not irritating. I really hope things start to pick up and please do keep chatting on here ThanksCake

Hi all
After a full week of not really understanding what’s going on with me missed period negative pregnancy test then another one with a veeery faint second line I finally got a positive on clear blue digital one! I am due jun 9th and as this wasn’t 100% planned I am now very overwhelmed with the amount of information that there is how the care works because it is very very different from my home country! What was your first step who did you speak to? I am only registered with a GP so hoping that he could advise on next steps.. can anyone maybe help with how do I choose who will look after me and what is the best way to book this???

Iswallowtoothpaste · 08/10/2018 12:04

@Japy, if you’re in the UK, usually the first step is to see your GP who will then refer you to the midwife.

You usually go for your first booking in appointment with the midwife at 8-9 weeks pregnant. They’ll ask you which hospital you’d like to have your baby in, you’ll have bloods taken and be asked to provide a urine sample as well as filling in various forms etc.

Swisbest2 · 08/10/2018 14:33

Thank you @jacquejacque dont know what to think atm. After 2 consecutive mcs and no children i feel very anxious and am a bit negative tbh. I so wish people would be more public and talk about this stuff more because where im from it seems you turn 16 have 5 kids all by accident no problem at all and if youre any older people just ask why didnt you want kids?! Drives me crazy

jacquejacque · 08/10/2018 15:18

@Swisbest2 me too love, me too. I've had two early miscarriages in a row now and if MIL calls me one more time and says "you pregnant yet?" I won't be held accountable for my actions!

On another thread, somebody told me to think the mantra "today I am pregnant" and it's really helped me to focus a bit more on the present day rather than worrying about what might happen tomorrow x

carlyb · 08/10/2018 16:18

Hey! I've just found out I am pregnant too, due on the 2nd June according to my calculations! Had a missed miscarriage almost a year ago to the day, very nervous but really hoping this is my rainbow baby and all is good!

Swisbest2 · 08/10/2018 17:19

Thats a really good mantra @jacquejacque thankyou 😊 what also helps me is a nurse told me first time that if there was one thing you could do to mc there would be no need for abortions so its out of our hands x

Cancelledstamp · 09/10/2018 15:55

How's everyone? ❤️

Tryingtoswallow101 · 09/10/2018 16:13

Thanks for the reassurance for those with the diarrhoea Grin

I’m still having no symptoms. Diarrhoea gone but my nipples are rock hard.

Got an early scan booked for 27th October but time is moving so bloody slowly!!

I’ve phoned the midwife now but not heard back Hmm going to give them until tomorrow and then call chasing.

Swisbest2 · 09/10/2018 17:05

Hey turns out the dead cat we identified wasnt ours so at least hes still about and lines definitely lots darker and thicker on cheapies again sickness starting at 2am to about 12 😐and im so backed up im startong to believe that i. GlamourBear · 10/10/2018 06:18

I'm about 5 weeks due around 11th June! Anybody else pregnant with their 2nd? I'm already struggling to get in my usual clothes and have a little belly. It's not like bloat as I have some defined lines around where the "bump" is. I wasn't expecting it this early on!

Swisbest2 · 10/10/2018 06:55
