First baby due June 2019!

We have been trying 8 months and I realised today that my period was a day late. Took a test and nearly fell over from shock with I saw two little lines! We're so happy! Anyone else due June 2018? It's a little early as I'm due the 1st!

Just wondering if anyone is struggling with leg cramps...I'm getting cramping in my right thigh late in the evening and at night! Apparently its all normal so I'm not worried just wondering if anyone has any tips for relieving the uncomfortable feeling?

@carlyb I had really bad cramping all down both legs, was horrible but it only lasted a day, I took a warm bath and it seemed to help. Hope it stops soon for you, it's not nice at all!

After freaking myself feeling that symptoms lot less and not feeling pregnant anymore epu did a scan for me today at 8w5 and saw this little thing wriggling around like mad 😍

Can I join in we got our second miracle positive on Friday and epu did scan on Sunday morning because I have pcos haven’t had period for 8 months so I am 8wks 4 days and due June 7 .but worried today lack of symptoms no nausea since Monday and today I have bad cramping period type pains so worried

Hey @sham7863 congratulations 😁 my midwife yoday said its because the placenta is starting to takeover. Trg not to worry

Ok - so my clinic called me in for an early scan today (I’m 5 + 6) because I’ve been having a rough few days with the OHSS, and they’ve confirmed twins! Two heartbeats seen, both measuring perfectly at 6 weeks - I’m absolutely terrified! We had known there was a possibility given my high beta HCG levels but honestly I don’t think I really believed it until I saw it on the scan today.

Anyone else expecting twins? I need calming down LOL

@CritterTamer - funny you should say that. We went for our first scan this morning at 9+1 and we were also told we're having twins. I'm in deep shock as the practicalities of having two babies slowly starts to sink in. I knew before the sonographer told us because I could see two babies on the monitor and I had a huge panic attack, crying and saying "I can't do this".

Remember - whatever you (we) are feeling is normal. It's okay to be scared, it's okay to be upset, it's okay to want it all to go away for brief moments. It's also perfectly okay to be elated and terrified and everything else that comes with it.

Our friends and families have been amazing today with all the congratulations etc but I have no idea which way up I am.

@CritterTamer, what's your due date? Mine's 4th June but I think they'll arrive a little earlier than that.

Congratulations girls! 6weeks pregnant, first baby, due 26th June 2019! Excited, scared, all sorts of emotions.

@Squiff70 - ETD 27th June but not sure whether that changes now twins are confirmed? I have another scan on Monday so will ask then.

@Squiff70 - feeling calmer today - how about you? My scan was originally booked for Monday (my IVF clinic do one between 6 and 7 weeks as routine), but yesterday’s scan was an emergency unplanned one due to some worsening OHSS symptoms. They said they normally do a follow up scan a week or so after the first one anyway so just told me to keep the appointment i already had for a Monday and they’ll do another 😊

@CritterTamer - thank you for explaining! Best of luck for your scan on Monday! I'm still very emotional and frightened to death/keep crying and fresking out but slowly starting to get a handle on things (I think).

@Squiff70 I think it’s sunk in quicker for me because I’ve known for over a week that there was a good possibility of twins given my high initial beta HCG level - it was 597 at 9 days past 5 day transfer (equivalent of 14dpo). I guess I didn’t really believe it, or believe that the pregnancy would stick until I saw those fluttery heart beats yesterday but it is now seeming more real. I hope your emotions settle soon anD you can feel excited again - Please feel free to PM me if you want to chat/extra support!

9w2d and when i get out of bed my boobs feel like someone is trying to pop them 😣 my little satsumas have gone lol. Mission for the day is to get a very comfortable supportive bra or strap them down one of the two

I've got my early private scan today!!! So nervous....just want to see the fluttering heart beat. I just can't relax and it's not for another 9 hours!! X

Good luck for everyone having their scans! I’ve just received my appointment for 12 week scan, bang on 12 weeks on 19th December but it feels so long to wait! Considering getting a private scan in a few weeks

Just been for my scan!! Most amazing experience but also told that I am 10 weeks 3 days.
So I am now due at the end of May!
