Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??

Just wanted to start a new thread for anyone who has just got their BFP.
What do I do now?
When do I phone the Drs?
Help would be great 👍🏻😃

@mummytoboyxx I've never had pink blood, but was always told that should I see it to call the midwives straight away, just to ensure it's nothing to worry about.

Hi all I’m having real trouble trying to figure out roughly when I conceived. Nothing adds up..
My LMP was 24th July
I took a random test and it was positive on the 6th August.. the following day I started bleeding for a week and by the 11th August it was negative.
I haven’t bled since and did another test on the 6th September and it was positive. My scan on the 16th October showed that I was 9w3d with a strong heartbeat.
I am so confused.. please can someone help!

Thanks @CeeCee88 I called a midwife this morning and she said to get a gp appointment. I’ve had nothing since this morning so I’m not sure if I’m panicking over nothing. I’m a teacher so it’s not easy for me to just leave work to see a dr, plus no one at work knows yet and I’m reluctant to tell them until I’ve had my scan xx

@Kiwinut1 I would just go with your scan date. That would be the most accurate. X

I’ve had some more bleeding this afternoon. I’m booked in for a scan at the EPAU on Saturday morning, but feeling very anxious x

@mummytoboyxx oh no, how frightening. I hope it's nothing serious and the scan will show what's going on. I've got all my fingers crossed for you!!! Xx

@mummytoboyxx I've had 3 really bad bleeds and baby is currently fine try not to worry to much which is easier said than done I know, fingers crossed all will be ok XXX

Hi ladies. I'm just wondering if you could help me out
My uni are wanting proof of pregnancy...I'm not really sure what they expect me to hand over.
The uni arnt in my good books anyway so I did say do they want my pregnancy test. My tutor laughed and said probably not.
Not had this problem with employers as they just took my word for it.

@lilbear14 when I had my midwife app she mentioned the matb1 form cannot be issued until after 20 weeks and that it is legal document. She said employers frequently want this early but it cannot be issued ahead of 20 weeks.

I don't really know what other proof there is you can give them, I think the onus is on them to say what is acceptable proof. Seems very strange though especially considering the midwife/doctor take our word for it.

Sorry it sounds like your uni are being difficult.

@dreaminofholidays they are very difficult been trying to get us out for a year. It's like my tutor said it makes me entitled to extentions and things but how am I mean to prove it so early?!

My sleep is absolutely terrible at the moment. I'm drained

@dreaminofholidays I’ve been awake since 4am as well! The one morning I needed to get a decent sleep, never mind! I can hear my DS stirring now so he will be up in another half hour or so.

@Lilbear14 have you have a letter of for your booking in or dating scan yet? Would they accepted that till you get your MATB1?

I'm going to ask today, they are basicly watching us like hawks because if we even step a foot out of line they are on us and will get us out. They're treating us like children. It's been a very stressful start to the year and it won't get any easier by the looks of things. I feel absolutely rotten this morning but I feel I still have to commute for an hour and sit there all day.

Had first midwife appointment today and she's moved me forward again and said only the 12 week scan can change my dates so I've jumped forward a week now 9+5 !

Thanks to everyone for their support. Had my scan this morning and everything is fine. Measuring 9+2, which matches up with my scan I had 2 weeks ago. I was scanned in the same room where they confirmed my MC in April, so emotions were high, but so relieved!

Thanks @RiverMeadow. I managed to last until midnight, but then had to get up about 8 times to pee during the night. Feel hungover, even though that’s not possible! Early night for me tonight I think x
