@Mummytoboyxx I know how you feel! Although I've not been having many symptoms this week other than sore boobs? Hoping everything is still fineConfused

Mummytoboyxx · 21/10/2018 17:51

Is anyone else already starting to feel uncomfortable in their jeans? I’m so bloated! I’m on holiday next week and I’m just going to look like I’ve eaten too much pasta 🙈

RiverMeadow · 21/10/2018 19:34

@Mummytoboyxx I can't fasten my jeans properly now! I'm going to buy some under bump jeans this week.

Lilbear14 · 21/10/2018 19:38

I stopped wearing jeans a couple of weeks ago. Lived in leggings since haha!

buntingandstarcharts · 21/10/2018 19:52

@RiverMeadow don't worry about no symptoms, me neither but my scan was perfect (which was just on Thursday) I was so scared there would be nothing there! But all good x

alienm · 21/10/2018 20:11

I've just bought mat jeans. One of my friends recommended going for full bump jeans as she found under bump ones uncomfortable later in pregnancy, so seems a waste to buy jeans that will only do for a few months. Sooo comfy, just have to hope I have enough work clothes for 4 days, then I have my scan so can be less worried about hiding anything!

Lorrie3 · 21/10/2018 21:33

@buntingandstarcharts when you say you had no symptoms and scan was all good do u mean nothing at all. I really feel anything symptom wise I was feeling which were mild enough have all disappeared in the last few days and it's totallt worrying me this weekend!

buntingandstarcharts · 22/10/2018 13:11

@Lorrie3 I had extremely sore and massive boobs week 3-8 then nothing this past week, at all. Had a scan at 8 weeks 4 days and it's all good and healthy in there! Have you had an early scan? Xx

Lorrie3 · 22/10/2018 13:51

@buntingandstarcharts I also had a scan at 8+4 and all was good! I just wasnt as far along as thought but they were happy in the hospital.i had sore boobs up to last week but thats reduced too..m. I'm guessing this is all normal so just hard not to panic

buntingandstarcharts · 22/10/2018 16:20

@Lorrie3 nice to be in a similar situation 🙂

CeeCee88 · 22/10/2018 16:34

Just back from our first scan at the fertility clinic and there we go. Little bean is looking healthy and his or her heart was beating strong. They reckon due date will be 1st June.
Can't lie, I cried a little bit. Still cannot believe our luck.

Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??
RiverMeadow · 22/10/2018 17:11

@buntingandstarcharts Thank you such a relief, I have felt sick today to be fair!

@CeeCee88 Fabulous! Congratulations! Xx

Lorrie3 · 22/10/2018 17:24

@buntingandstarcharts yes for sure. I definetly wasn't prepared for this constant anxious worry element of pregnancy!!

Mummytoboyxx · 22/10/2018 17:51

Brilliant news @CeeCee88. How far along do they think you are? Xx

CeeCee88 · 22/10/2018 18:49

Thank you all. Smile
They reckon I'm 8 weeks and a bit, measuring just under what I thought.
But we won't get an actual, proper estimate date until our 12 week scan.
I just still can't believe how lucky we are and that there's an actual tiny human growing inside me.
How are you all holding up?

Regarding an earlier poster - I didn't have any nausea or sickness yet and I'm feeling a lot more energetic than the first few weeks.
Still got really sore boobs and I could eat a horse all the time but otherwise I've not really got any symptoms.

Countrygirl94 · 24/10/2018 11:35

How is everyone doing?

@CeeCee88 Glad your scan went well - its all so lovely isn't it.

Had first midwife appointment yesterday all went fine, 12 week scan is booked for the 13th November wishing it would hurry up already.

Anyone else feeling really bloated all the time? I've got an appetite like a horse also but for very carby starchy foods. Would live off Mac & cheese if DH would let me.

Also feeling very lazy as I haven't been exercising as have been so tired. I don't wanna get really unfit and know exercising would also help keep me healthy but I'm struggling with motivation. The dark nights aren't helping either.

CeeCee88 · 24/10/2018 11:53

@countrygirl94 It really is lovely... I'm still in a slight stage of disbelieve.

Amazing about your midwife appointment. Mine is now booked for the 1st November, so I'm looking forward to that. Is there anything specific you have to take with you for it?

Our 12 week scan is booked for the 22nd November, which I also hope would be sooner haha. Thankfully we've got a holiday booked a week before, so I feel I won't be counting the days down too much.

I'm also exactly the same - constantly hungry. Interestingly I've been fancying cereal in the morning and soft pretzels otherwise, which I find slightly amusing.

I'm cycling to work and back most days and have to say it actually wakes me up each way, which really makes a difference.

Are you doing any gym classes or anything? Is it suggested to take up Yoga or Pilates in preparation for childbirth and keeping your core muscles and back strong? Considering joining a class, but I'm unsure...

CeeCee88 · 24/10/2018 11:54

apologies... disbelief

Mummytoboyxx · 24/10/2018 12:12

@Countrygirl94 we have the same scan date. We go on holiday next week so I’m hoping that will help pass the time quicker.

I feel the same...zero lack of motivation to exercise. And I used to be a 4-5 times a week person! With my DS1 I exercised until about 35 weeks but I just don’t have that enthusiasm. I’m going to look awful in a bikini next week 😬

And yes...macaroni cheese and garlic bread would suit me every night for tea!

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 24/10/2018 12:57

Hope everyone is ok, I've completely lost my appetite and just can't be bothered with anything. Got my scan date through for 15 November when I'll be 13+4 so still ages away may phone and see if I can get an earlier appointment.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 24/10/2018 13:02

I have my scan tomorrow and I really hope everything is okay, I don't want to upset anyone but I keep having nightmares about it

Countrygirl94 · 24/10/2018 15:15

@CeeCee88 I am not a gym person I have to say, was loving doing loads of walking/hill walking in summer but the dark nights and colder weather puts me off.
I am planning to get into yoga and there is a cross-trainer that has been neglected the last few months sitting in our spare room I can here it calling my name...haha.

@mummytoboyxx Oh how cool that our scan dates are the same! A holiday should for sure help distract you. I'm sure you'll look great. I need to find some of that motivation you had last pregnancy!

buntingandstarcharts · 24/10/2018 17:51

Hey ladies, I have a question - my scab at 8 weeks and 4 days had the following measurements (see attached). The mean yolk sac size looks small on their little scale to the side of the numbers? What did yours say (if you've had scans), would love to compare? Xx

Just got Very first BFP!! Due May 2019 anyone else??
buntingandstarcharts · 24/10/2018 17:52

*scan! Not scab 🤣🤣

Lilbear14 · 24/10/2018 22:20

It's lovely seeing the scan photos being posted.

@Opheliasgoldenwine I have had a couple of nightmares about scans too (when I've actually managed to sleep). I went to a friend's scan today and it did ease my mind a little bit. I am still worried though :(
